I really enjoyed the sushi the fish was fresh. My boyfriend was a little angry when they asked«oh do you need a fork» idk why it offended him a little cause they assumed that he needed a fork when he’s actually VERYGOODATCHOPSTICKS. anyway great food!

We definitely go here for their Ramen(spicy miso or champong are my favorites), and the crab fried rice(which is amazing). The broth for their soup is very delicious and comes in a gigantic bowl. I love that there are lots of vegetables too. You don’t get the traditional«onsen» egg though, so don’t be surprised it doesn’t have it. Service can sometimes get a bit slow when they are busy but the food is very good. Sushi/sashimi is okay, nothing spectacular… but rolls are decent.

The ambience is quite nice and clean. The servers are quick and efficient. The place was packed out on a Saturday night. It was our first time there and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was tasty and fresh. We ordered the shrimp tempura sushi and the chicken teriyaki and we were very satisfied with the quality of the food. Great options for kids too. Definitely will be a retuning customer.

A friend suggested we go here. She was familiar with it and loves the food. I really enjoyed the food. The baked oysters were amazing! The sushi was fresh and delicious. Servers were very nice. Will definitely go back.

As much as I’ve been here several times, I’m disappointed since the A/C isn’t working. It’s well over 90 degrees in GA(not to mention the humidity) and it’s…hot in here. How can you feel like eating ramen when you’re already too hot? If only they would fix the A/C, I’d give them a better rating. Though the food is very important, it is also the responsibility of the establishment to keep an inviting environment. On the plus side, all of the food we ordered was delicious! Their tofu salad, grilled sausage and takoyaki are my favorite appetizers! Their miso chasu ramen is also always a favorite ramen!

Mm… okay. Very pleasant, but the AC wasn’t working. Had lunch with my daughter and the waitress didn’t understand her being a vegetarian and she ordered a noodle bowl all veggie and it came out all Pork(I still had to pay for it) She opted for sushi for which she exclaimed it was sub par. On the other hand… My noodle bowl with roasted pork was pretty great. We won’t be back though.

Sooo restaurant is supposed to close at 10:30pm on Saturday night. I get there at 9:30 for them to tell me the restaurant is ‘closing’ but that they take their last order 15 minutes before close, so there’s no more food orders… The times on the door said the same as Unilocal, and I drove out of my way for sushi there. Not a fan. Too bad.

I’ve only been here for lunch, but it’s a good deal. The ramens are very delicious! It also comes with a half a roll of california rolls. The gyoza wasn’t that good, but the ramen makes up for it. The service is okay and it wasn’t that busy the times I went in for lunch. I would recommend trying it out.

Bad service! It was Friday night around 7:45pm. We were 4 adults, 2 kids and one toddler. The restaurant was about 30% full. We walked in and we were rejected because of the number of people in our group. According to the rude employee, they can’t have more than 4 people in one table, they can’t set two tables together. She said we had to have reservation. I just read the comments other comments complaining about their bad service. If the customer service is important for you, this is not the right place. I didn’t try their food.

Sushi/sashimi quality is not so good, but the noodles(spicy ramen, champon) and donbri are probably the best in Atlanta area. Service, however is very clumsy and unprofessional, don’t expect anything. Still I’d give 4 stars because again, noodles and donbri are really good.

The ramen is yummy here! I highly recommend coming here for ramen if you’re looking for a good place for it. The broth is delicious and well made with the ample portion servings in a bowl. Though, it may take some time to wait for their sushi rolls due to only 1 sushi chef in the house. Servers are friendly. Wi-Fi is not available for public.

Worst sushi ever!!! I couldn’t finish it because it was so bad… Never wasted as much food as I did here and plus they are over priced on food made so crappy…

FYI this review is for the lunch service only. I’ve driven by Blue Fin Sushi so many times for the last few years but I“m not sure why I never wanted to try this place. We finally did this past weekend on a rainy Saturday for lunch. Happy with the food, service, & price so we’ll be back for sure. Keep in mind that their lunch hours are pretty short: they are only open for 2 hrs during lunch(12 — 2 pm). Shared parking lot with other businesses. ~spicy miso chashu ramen — delicious! rich broth, flavorful chashu slices, & just the right kind of chewy noodle. This came with ½ a california roll on the lunch menu. ~sashimi lunch — 12 pieces of chef’s choice sashimi — very fresh ~katsu don — decent portion for the price & tasted pretty good

Located on Peachtree Industrial Parkway and right next to the golf course after Fairway Car Wash & QuikTrip. Authentic Japanese food because the owner is Japanese. Sushi is always excellent. Gotta love my fresh Salmon! The udon is very very good, especially on cold days. I have to say that the sushi always look very fresh. It gives off that«shine», so you know it will be tasty. Waitresses are very friendly and attentive to my table when I visit. Moreover, it can be pricey here. But its pricey at any sushi restaurant you attend. However, its worth the price here. Don’t skip out of this gem in Duluth, GA!!!

The food is great. The service is questionable. I’ll start with the good. Had katsudon and fried rice. The katsudon was standard fare, nothing out of this world. Truth be told the tonkatsu was a bit chewy. The fried rice was definitely tasty though. Best I’ve had in a long while. The bad? We were there for lunch and went to place a to-go order 45 minutes before 2pm. Not only did they refuse the order, but the chef gave us a very dirty look and stated absolutely not. To top it off, because our party was of 6 people, they added in a 15% tip. I’m very disappointed in this place. It really is too bad. The food was good enough to warrant multiple visits. The service we experienced unfortunately turned us off from this place going forward. FYI: Health Rating for the place is a low B.

It’s funny how sometimes we hesitate to try something new and when we finally for some reason decide to try, only to be completely blown away by the experience. You can say the same about my first time sushi experience. My boyfriend introduced me to Sushi at ‘Blue Fin sushi’ few years ago. Ever since, sushi and Japanese food has become one of my favorite cuisines. And also, since then I have been here so many times. Blue Fin Sushi is on the peachtree industrial blvd in Duluth, right next to the golf course(also the pumpkin patch during October, November months). This is again a local business that has been around since 2007 at this location. First of all, this is an all around Japanese restaurant — you can get fine sushi rolls, nigiri sushi and sashimi but also noodles, ramen, tonkotsu ramen and fried rice. On any given day, and especially on weekends, you can see group of middle aged Japanese men dining here after their golf next door. I have pretty much tried everything in their menu so far and my favorites are, 1) Sake chan chan yaki — Salmon, cabbage, mushroom, onion seasoned and seared in a searing hot stone bowl. Similar to the bibimbap but ingredients are different. It’s a must try at this place and one of the most delicious. Also, quiet healthy. if you are vegetarian, you can ask for replacing salmon with more mushroom as well. 2) Champon — while their champon and Ramen are not as good Umaido, they hold their own at Blue fin. 3) Fried rice — they have one of the best fried rice in any Japanese restaurant around. It’s delicious with chashu, shrimp, eggs and green peas. 4) Pork ginger 5) Tonkatsu 6) Assorted sushi and sashimi — while their nigiri sushi is bit pricier than other good local restaurants like Tokyo Shokudo, the quality of fish is also one of the best. Probably next only to Sushi house Hayakawa, where it’s even pricier. 7) Some times, I skip sushi here and just get ‘Rainbow Roll’ which is basically roll with tuna, salmon and few other sashimi fish slices on top. It’s kinda best of both world — nigiri sushi and roll. Because, you see, the fish they use on this roll is same as the one used on nigiri sushi. Plus you are getting some avocados with it too. Puritans may balk at this, but try this and you won’t be disappointed. 8) Dragon roll — this one made with cooked eel with some slightly sweet brown sauce. I will admit, food is not cheap here. But if you select something like sake chan-chan or tonkatsu, you can easily eat fulfilling food within $ 10. Also, like I mentioned earlier, this is an all around restaurant with so many varieties of Japanese food. This makes it ideal place for family and get together dinner celebrations. Service is also one of the best. The two waitresses you will see at Blue fin are very friendly and extremely helpful bunch. My boyfriend tells me that they have been around at Blue Fin pretty much since they opened. If you don’t know about something in the menu, just ask, they are always happy to explain. I seriously don’t know why this place is not more popular. Five Stars.

This place is by far the best sushi place I’ve ever been to. I’m pretty new to sushi, I just started eating it regularly(and craving it) within the last two years or so. But my boyfriend is kind of a sushi snob… this place is our favorite. They always use high quality fresh fish which makes my sashimi-loving man happy. We try to sit at the bar because the chef usually gives us some extra goodies. I guess we’re regulars now and he remembers us. We’ve gotten free green tea ice cream a few times, and last time he gave us an extra sushi roll — just whatever he felt like making. I don’t even know what it was but it was good. I can’t remember the chef’s name but he is super nice and definitely excellent at his craft. For comparison, I’ve been to Umi, Tomo, and several other fancier sushi places in Buckhead and Midtown and I always compare it to Blue Fin. I’d rather go to Blue Fin where I can pay half the price for better sushi… My personal favorites are the crunch roll(best I’ve ever had anywhere), super crunch roll(comes with a MOUNTAIN of tempura crunchies) and the Alaskan.

Ramen is authentic and delicious. I spent years in living Hawaii. All I want when I’m sick is a big bowl of Ramen and Blue Fin has got me covered. When my younger sister came to town last month, we treated her to a meal here. Of course she ordered ramen. It’s hard to find good ramen on the mainland. Another great meal. The sushi is delicious. We did have one roll where I wasn’t expecting tempura shrimp in it(that’s what happens when the husband orders) that I felt was just a strange combo of textures and obviously warm. That just doesn’t work for me. But everything else is great. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I didn’t try their sushi. I tried their chicken teriyaki dish. Food was pretty good. They give you big portions and the chicken teriyaki came with rice(I skipped the rice and got an extra salad), salad, soup, and a sides of asparagus and broccoli. The service was good. They kept up with my water and they kept asking if we needed anything. I’m going to have to come back for their sushi!
