Was on the hunt for a dinning table and was about to give up when we stumbled into here. Haven’t purchased anything from Macy’s furniture wise in decades so I was a bit hesitant but took that leap of faith and away we went. Black Friday sales(yeah, I was still out there hunting) tags were everywhere and we did find our set. Was it as inexpensive as I wanted it to be? No! But am I happy with it? Yes! Our sales person, Tap, was very helpful and let us wander around the store freely without being hounded(he would either pop up now and again or if I looked in his direction he would come to help) and none of the sales people batted an eye when we were dragging different chairs to different tables to see how combinations would work. All of the sales people were friendly and I am happy with the table we bought but why only 3 stars? Macy’s had an odd pricing system with prices for table with two chairs and a bench, table with four chairs and a bench, table with four chairs, etc. So if there was a price for a combo you wanted you were good but if there wasn’t you had to price it separately which could up the price. Hubs did the math and figured out one combo with one extra piece would be cheaper than another way so good for him! But the biggest reason for the lower rating — the delivery charge. I believe for four items plus it was $ 200.00! GEEZE!!! And they suckered me into the furniture protection plan of $ 135.00 which you get back if you don’t make a claim in 5 or 7 years(I’m either going to get my money back or use the heck out of that plan). I’m still grumbling about that but I like my set and they deliver on the weekend. Would I go back? Maybe…

We received excellent service while trying to find a replacement part for a piece of furniture we bought years ago. The staff here really went above and beyond to assist us.

I wish Unilocal had an option for a negative number of stars because this place deserves a negative 5 stars. I went there with my wife and kids on Saturday looking for some new dining room chairs. We walked around the store for at least 10 minutes, and no one greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. It turns out that all the employees were chatting in the middle aisle of the store and paying absolutely no attention to the customers there. I will never waste my time or my money on this place, and I encourage anyone who reads this review to not waste his/her time or money there, either.
