I had an appointment with Dr. Sara yesterday. She is great! She makes you feel very comfortable and makes sure to address any concerns you have. She takes her time but also gets you out at a reasonable time! I love that she remembers my family and small details of my personal life.

Dr. Ben is extremely patient and knowledgeable. My eye exam was long enough for me to ask numerous questions and I never felt rushed. I ended up getting my pupils dilated in between my glasses and contacts exam. We also talked about my astigmatism and potential glaucoma and Dr. Ben explained in detail all of the things I needed to know for a non-​doctor.
The practice is clean, well-​run, and professional. I’m coming back for future check-​ups for these reasons and also because the doctor takes detailed notes about my issues.

In the past I didn’t have a good experience at my previous optometrist, so when my friend Sophia, who is apart of their staff recommended me to come get my eyes checked I decided to give it a try. Plus it had been a little over 2 years since I’ve got them checked. The place is very easy to find and has a lot of parking space. When I entered the office the girls at the front desk were welcoming. I got scheduled to see Dr. Benjamin Gilsdorf, he was very friendly and made the exam process easy going and answered all of my questions throughly. They also have a good selection of frames. I would definitely come and get your eyes checked here!

I have a pair of expensive glasses. I like it very much, but I was very frustrated with the left temple which fell off sometimes. I needed to push it back when that happened. Once I stop by Dublin Ranch Optometry and expressed my problem. Dr. Gilsdorf immediately helped secure that temple even my glasses was not made by his office. I am so grateful that he solved my big headache.
He also went above and beyond to help me with my potential new frame by calling the lab and calling me with his findings which eased my concern. He gave me his honest suggestion, totally for my benefit, not for his profit. His integrity and high moral character are amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Gilsdorf.
His partner Dr. Yee is also very knowledgeable with their products and thorough with her job. You are in a great hand if you are their patients/​customers.
One more comment:
I am deeply moved by the opening statements on their web site. Their work/​accomplishments also have demonstrated that they are striving to achieve their goal and keep their promise.

I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and couldn’t be happier with my treatment. Years ago I had a issue with my contacts feeling dry and went to two to three different places and was given different treatments ranging from Vitamin E tabs to drops that were $ 120 a bottle. Dr Yee saw that my lids were a bit irritated and recommend a different contact lens. I have never had an issue again. She is thorough, kind, fun, professional and knowledgable. I highly recommend a visit here for you eye needs. She is so great I drive from San Jose there yearly and I’m a doctor.

As someone who has worn glasses since the age of 7, I take extra care of my eyes and am very picky about who I trust to also take care of them. My optometrist is awesome, always makes me feel comfortable and the staff is outstanding. Love Dublin Ranch Optometry!

Came here two years ago to get my son glasses and had a great experience with the doctors, but they I didn’t have a lot of options for kids glasses. I needed new glasses so I scheduled an appointment. Upon arriving I was told that they had scheduled me for a different time then I had requested. They didn’t make any accommodations for their mistake other than offering me the appointment time they had mistakenly scheduled me for. I guess I’ll be finding a new optometrist for my family. Maybe they should start emailing appointment confirmations.

I first went here 3 years ago. The office staff were so nice and I really like the optometrist who examined me, Dr Yee. Specifically I mentioned that my eyes tend to get dry with dailies — a few of the other docs I’d seen didn’t know what to think about it. But she understood that for some folks it’s just different.
That made me come back three years later when I had insurance for this place again.

Had a great time at my appointment. Every single associate was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Yee was amazing and helped me decide if contacts would be a good idea for me and they even had a «little» class where I was taught all of the basics for contact care and usage. HUGE kudos to Ahsley and Linda! I wouldnt have gotten my amazing pair of new Kate Spade glasses without their fantastic help! Ashley was so patient while I tried on almost all of the frames in the store and really helped me to find ones which fit my face perfectly. Linda went above and beyond to call my insurance and convince them to allow me to use my 2015 vision insurance to get my glasses now — I’m so grateful! I highly recommend this business if you’re in the need for fabulouuuus new frames.

Completely agree with Kimberly C. Dr. Yee was so thorough with exam and explanation of everything. I had lasik surgery 2 years ago and had some complications. went back to the surgeon many times even saw a different eye doctor but always got the same answer that didn’t explain anything. Dr. Yee explained very clearly and shared her experience with another patient with similar problems-​this is the first time I finally got some ease of mind and was able to understand more of the problem. Dr. Yee and her assistant are super friendly. They understand the insurance very well and I even found out for the first time that my insurance has good coverage for sunglasses annually!
I strongly recommended my husband to go there for his upcoming annual checkup. Definitely a five star!

Outstanding service. The late hours support those that commute. When I arrived they were ready and I didn’t wait at all. The staff was very friendly and explained everything they were doing to me. Dr. Yee was thorough and explained what she was doing and why. This place isn’t an eyewear mill trying to push revenue. Lastly, the quality of the lenses are great. In fact I bought two pairs from them.

Moved into town recently and needed an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I chose Dublin Ranch Optometry based on reviews and I’m glad I did! Dr. Sara Yee was a true professional — patient, thorough, and detailed. I appreciate that she was very kind and personable. It is clear she is interested in you as a patient & just as a person. She has great taste too — she makes the buying decision for the practice and she’s got some really chic glasses in her store for you to choose from. Some of the brands they offer are LaFont, Dita, Christian Dior, & Gucci. I ended up going with a latest design from Christian Dior. Shianne is bubbly and super helpful and had my insurance verified with payment info upfront and ready. I enjoyed my experience with Dublin Ranch Optometry and highly recommend. So much so, I made an appointment for my husband to see Dr Yee the following day :)
**Update** Just got a call to pick up my frames… I only had to wait 2 days!

I switched to Dublin Ranch Optometry because of the Unilocal reviews, and decided to give them a try.
Dr. Sara Yee was very detailed in my first visit, and I did not feel that I got that rush job eye appointment. The eye exam took over 1 hour, and she tested everything, she even diagnosed that my red eyes were due to dryness, and explained how to use eye drops with my contacts.
Shianne is very professional and all around friendly, on the phone and in-​person.
I’m reserving the last star for next years visit and maybe the year after that to see how the treatment is for repeat clients.
For now, I’d recommend seeing them, especially if you’re using the VSP plan.
12/​02/​2013 — UPDATE, my follow-​up visits warrant a 5 star review, no kidding. I will have to say, when you go to your appointment, you might think you’re in a dental office because both Dr. Yee and Shianne will greet you with bright smiles. Dr. Sara Yee fitted me with 3 types of weekly trial lenses until I found the one that worked best. I’ll be back yearly, and recommend.
