A local gem. Wonderful personally prepared dinner. Everything from the asparagus salad, the amazing white gespacho, to the lamb ribs and the perfect crème brûlée, was delightful. Bright, cheerful, attentive wait staff enhanced the meal. We will return.

We just had a great dinner. Shared an amazing white gazpacho and delicious and refreshing watermelon feta and mint salad. All delicious and beautifully served. Candles and white tablecloths but relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by our own bottle of wine. Dinner brought hanger steak perfectly cooked with jicama slaw and plantains. Moist sweet scallops with truffle oil graham crumbs ad honey was our other main. Hard decision over Thai curry mussels and lamb ribs. Shared dessert of Liege waffle with house made banana Nutella ice cream. Cannot wait to go back to try the other menu items.

I’ve been at the(original) West Avenue in Jenkintown on numerous occasions… and loved it. So I figured I try West Ave II. Honestly i was not impressed by the waitress, Jen. The quality of food was on par with the original West Avenue. Our waitress was a little rude… so perhaps she having a «day» but still little things like getting my order right, and not being physically annoyed by me asking for it to be correct. Refilling our coffee… asking me if I wanted anything else before slapping my bill down on the table. Ya know, basic Waitress 101kinda stuff… Anyhoooooooo… I’ll try this restaurant again … I just hope I don’t Jen

We’ve eaten here many times usually for lunch and the food and service always good. Our latest experience however was not good. Either our server was coming off a hangover or ingesting an illegal substance during our lunch because she kept repeating back many times our order and still everything came out wrong. I mentioned her behavior to the man who served us our food and he could have cared less. I may go back but she will not be our server ever again

Pleasant and friendly atmosphere, food was delicious, had dinner for the first time last night, it’s a hidden gem, and a place I will definitely return to with friends in the near future. They offer small plates so you can try a variety of offerings… All the ingredients are fresh an even the ice cream is home made.

We went for lunch, a party of 4, to celebrate a co-workers birthday. The food was very good even though all of the meals came out different than ordered. The tomatoe bisque soup was excellent and so were the onion rings. No one was upset with the mistakes but a little more attention to detail would have been nice by the wait staff. We all said that we would come back to try the place again with our families. I personally enjoyed the turkey wrap and needed to take half of it home due to the large size.

My wife and I have been coming here for breakfast for years; this is our favorite weekend tradition. I usually get the Classic, which includes everything I could want for breakfast — eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a pancake. My wife loves the West Coast Omelette. The food is very good, and most importantly, it’s very good on a consistent basis… we’re always pleased. The servers and hostess are always friendly. The owner truly has a passion for the place, and we can’t wait to try a dinner there!

Just went back to check it out after ownership change. The interiors are redone and refreshed. Went for dinner on Thursday night. Food was wonderful. Great flavors. The type of meal I’d go into Center City for. I will definitely be going back.

Food here is pretty good for the price you pay. Staff is friendly too. I like eating here, but it’s nothing that is «to die for». I mainly go because of convenience and the large variety they have. One thing I dislike is that they close early.

The worst service I have ever had in my life. Food was cold didn’t remember half of the meal and did not offer a discount of any sort for how terrible the service was. I will never go back. I want to clarify that this is West Ave 2 in Dresher

Just came from dinner at West Ave in Dresher. it was only their 4th night of serving dinner and they have it figured out. Great food, different flavors, many choices. Real nice new tableclothes and napkins. More upscale than thier breakfast and lunches but very classy and refined. Easy to tell a chef is the new owner. Looking forward to a return visit.

West Ave Grill Too — what an utter disappointment. I suggested to some coworkers we go for our monthly lunch, based on my experiences at the original Jenkintown location. There is a banner that says under new management, but what a horrible experience. I don’t think they know how to work the heat, we were all cold and felt like we were in some kind of draft, but couldn’t have been. I ordered my sandwich with no red peppers. It came, with bright red pepper peeping out from beneath the cheese. The waitress apologized and said she told them no pepper — she took it back to the kitchen and said it shouldn’t be too long. Shortly after, brought me a new sandwich. The chicken did not seem fresh to me, but worst of all was about 75% of the way through — I taste pepper… I thought maybe I was wrong, take another bite and it was as if I bit right into the pepper itself. Lucky for them I am not allergic. I spit the sandwich into my napkin and pushed the plate away. when the waitress cleared my plate I told her to tell the kitchen that removing the pepper from the sandwich does not take the taste of the pepper away. She mumbled an apology and walked away. She then promptly reappeared with the check… no manager, no proper apology, no adjustment to the bill. Clearly, we will not be returning to this location and I will think twice before going back to Jenkintown

Dirty, greasy and rude. That sums this place accurately. Roaches crawling on the walls, unclean silverware and a manager that has no ppl skills. Should be shut down.

I’ve been to West Ave a number of times since the new owner has taken over. It’s always a great atmosphere and a spectacular menu selection. What I love about West Ave is they never disappoint, there impeccable service and focus on unique and fresh menu items. Today at lunch, we had the Meatloaf special, Carrot Ginger Soup and my friend had the Chili all homemade. In the past, I have tried there Eggnog French Toast, Brisket Benedict, Custom Omelettes, Mile High and Salmon Burger, all absolutely delicious. The owner and entire staff are always courteous, polite, warm and so personable. I have to say the experience I have had every time is always consistent. Keep up the great work!!! Thank you West Ave for another marvelous lunch.

I wanted so bad to like this place. The original West Ave in Jenkingtown is wonderful, and West Ave II falls way short. From the moment I walked in I could tell the difference. In a strip mall, which doesn’t damn it right away, there is a open floor plan, but that’s where the good ends. There is no décor at all, unless you want to call two mounted TVs décor, and the black paint on the ceiling and soffit was chipped all over. The staff was cold and unwelcoming. The hostess didn’t acknowledge us, until we started walking towards a table and then she says sit anywhere. On the way out we walked right past her at the front desk, without a peep, no thanks come again, goodbye, nothing. The wait staff that brought out the food, asked if we needed anything else, my husband and I both replied water, and she walked away without even acknowledging we said anything, we weren’t sure we were going to get water. She returns with the water, and I say thank you very much, crickets nothing, not a your welcome to be had. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito, but I ordered the Kansas skillet, and it was terrible. The only flavor was oil. It was hash browns, topped with eggs and provolone cheese. The hash browns were soggy and heavy with oil, the eggs over cooked and unseasoned, and the provolone cheese, well it was flavorless. The whole grain bread was delicious as was the turkey bacon, thankfully, since that was all I ate. Save your time and money, drive a little further into Jenkington, for better atmosphere, cooking and service.

Went for breakfast. Ordered two eggs scrapple and toast. I also had coffee. My bill came to under $ 10. The cost is comparable to a IHOP. And I think the food is pretty close at least for what I order. West Ave., Grill serves a multigrain toast which is good. the quality of the scrapple was okay, but it was served crunchy like I like it. The potatoes are served as hashbrowns which are usually really good. I would give it five stars but the coffee cups and silverware usually need replacing. The waitstaff needs to check and wipe off the silverware and cups before serving or placing on tables.

Food= Okay, Service = Okay. if you want more attentive experience then don’t bother visiting during the weekend rush hours. Also doesn’t help when you have one men and one women’s bathroom to use during the rush. Food does take a while to come out. We had to ask for coffee and water refills. It could have been because of the rush, but based on the consensus we didn’t think it was worth the wait at the end.

Excellent for breakfast, I popped in one morning on the way to work. Friendly service and a nice menu. But I’ll save you the trouble of all that reading. Just get the«Mile High French Toast». It’s awesome. No, really. Awesome. Light fluffy challah bread, topped with syrup in a bowl. And on top, caramelized bananas. Yes, really. Coffee refilled often. I’d love to go back!
