Round Table Pizza

I walked in with my friend for the buffet special, hardly anything to eat from, we asked for water cups and as we were grabbing our food and the employee watched us, our waiter never decided to show up to attend us, they spied on us to see if we were actually drinking water. We were grossed out in how racist they were on age. Overall bad quality food and the fact I had stomach pains afterwards was such a disaster for me. So I recommend to go elsewhere for pizza.

Walked in an every booth that wasn’t occupied was piled high with dirty dishes and they remained that way for quite a while. They lost our order and after 30 minutes we still been apprised of what is going on. Bad service. Nay nay.

My family had given this location multiple chances since my family is a huge Round Table fan. Unfortunately, we are disappointed once again after ordering from here. Ordered the family special. Pizza was good but the driver didn’t provide any red pepper and cheese. My hot wings were cold but my ranch was hot and it didn’t come with any celery as shown on the website. Finally, we didn’t receive the two liter the special was supposed to come with. My bad maybe… I was trying to pay the driver while keeping my toddler from making a break. I love Round Table… I want to keep loving Round Table… But at this point it is pretty hard to keep handing my money over to be disappointed! If I am going to get this quality of food and service maybe I should just go with the cheaper competitors at least then I won’t be shocked by my disappointment!

I’ve enjoyed other Round Tables when I’ve been for dinner, but had never been for the lunch buffet until recently. I have to say, it was disappointing. There wasn’t much turnover in terms of food, so there was a lot of old dry chicken and hard garlic parmesan twists. There were a couple of new pizzas brought out while I was there, but the old ones were left out rather than being replaced. I’d choose pretty much any other pizza place over this one for lunch.

Took my wife cause it was her first time. I usually go to the one on Newport Beach and that place is pretty good so I figured we could go here and watch the Dodger game. We order our food and sat down to watch the game. Our food arrived and I asked if they could change the channel but 10 minutes later they tell me they couldn’t change it. Why? I have no idea. So we ate the piece we started to eat and left. The pizza was good but I went there for the environment and to watch the game and that didn’t happen. If we ever go back it’s probably for pickup only.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I ordered a pizza for delivery, when I order the pizza the employee informed me that they had all my information due to them delivering pizza at my home before. Employee told me pizza will be delivered within 45 mins. Cut story short 2 HOURS LATER!!! Still no Pizza! I called to see what happened to my pizza but got put on hold and got hanged up on. Finally after a shift change I get a hold of someone and explained I ordered a pizza 2 hours ago. Employee apologized and mentioned they had a different phone number in the system and that the pizza was there and ready for the last two hours, Which was a lie because they had delivered pizza before and always called and confirmed. I asked employee what are you going to do for me for this horrible customer service. Employee offered me a free upgrade and will make sure that I get the pizza within 45 minutes. I agreed! 5 minutes later they call me back on my cell phone and employee tells me that the owner MIKE informed him to call me back and tell me that if I want my pizza to come pick it up due to them being busy! WOW!!! I refused and Didn’t get the pizza.
I never Unilocaled anything before but going through this HORRIBLE experience I needed to tell someone. MIKE the owner and partners don’t care about their customers. My recommendation is to stay away from Round Table Pizza specially Downey, Ca, location.

I asked if they would be able to make a pizza they have on their buffet for pickup and the person I was talking to said that it would be too hard because they didn’t know the price of the pizza. Ridiculous. Horrible service.

The veggie gourmet pizza was great. I loved the artichoke. It was my first time here but I was impressed with the quality of the pizza. They had a small but decent selection of brew. I’d come back.

Horribly long wait for our food. The employees here are busting their asses to work hard but the owners dropped the ball with severely under-​staffing their restaurant. We love round table pizza but this is very discouraging.
**update — I feel it is always good business to try and make things better. While we are still disappointment about last night I’m happy that the restaurant owner reached out to me in private and apologized for this situation and offered compensation for our experience. As such, I changed my rating and I can chalk this up to the restaurant being caught off guard by an unexpected flurry of people leading to their long wait time. Thanks for reaching out Round Table; I’m not sure when I’d be back but I will!

I must say their pizza was very good but overall experience was so poor I will never come again after this incident. Lady who was the manager was so clueless I am not sure who hired her in the first place. Only reason for their location to be empty, lack of customer service. Would love to give them 0 stars but unfortunately Unilocal don’t have have zero stars.
I received a message right after I posted my negative Unilocal.Just because the Kulsom was nice I willing to make it up to me. At least someone at the place cares. I might come back

First timer for the lunch buffet, good food, and good service. Robin was a sweetheart.

My family and I love round table pizza, this is our neighborhood round table (personal preference round table is my favorite) I usually throw away the crust from other pizza places this is the only crust I will eat I love the softness and the garlic buttery taste, I also like how you can actually taste the cheese in the pizza, yes its a bit more pricey but you get what you pay for and I prefer round tables quality over any other chain name brand pizza… my favorite is the bbq chicken pizza. the staff here are friendly and assertive they quickly greeted us and kindly asked if our daughter needed a high chair… the food came out fast and fresh, I am over all pleased with my experience and will be returning (: happy pizza eating Unilocalers!

We ordered pizza online and it was charged to my credit card. I left specific instructions on how to deliver the pizza along with my phone number. It’s now 45 minutes later than the delivery time.
We called twice and both times we were told that the pizzas were on their way. Then the said they would make pizzas. Did they ever make the pizzas? After being lied to twice we don’t know. We cancelled. We’re going for burgers at The Habit.
We won’t call roundtable pizza in Downey again!

Horrible service and food! My guest and I advised the owner that the salad greens were brown and withered, and the carrots were dried out. I asked for the salad to be changed, my requests were ignored. The owner was blatantly rude and is not at all focused on customer satisfaction or quality. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT EAT HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Customer satisfaction is key but it is just common sense not to serve brown withered lettuce and dry carrots that are white instead of orange. To say my dining experience was terrible would be too much of a compliment for this disgusting restaurant!!! YUCK!!!

Their Gourmet Veggie Pizza is one of the best vegetarian pizzas I’ve ever had. Truly a family favorite.
They also serve pitchers of beer which it is a pro with the men in my family. We all love coming here and also getting take out.

Really friendly staff! Aside from the fantastic pizza (personal preference, Round Table pizza is my favorite), the staff was very friendly and assertive.
The cashier was very helpful when I was trying to decide what to order. She was also very polite. When we were finishing up our meal, she politely asked the table before mine and me if it was alright if she vacuumed (it was close to closing).

I’m a bit surprised at all the reviews. Many say that the pizza is tasteless and that their wings are soggy… I experienced the opposite.
I’ve always been a fan of Round Table, I had just forgotten how pricey they are. This is the thing, if I’m paying a good chunk of change I better get a great plate of food, which in my opinion, I did.
Came here for the first time this past weekend with my brother and sister in law. We ordered a large chicken w/​spinach, mushrooms, basil pizza and a medium size Hawaiian (my favorite). We asked for a crispy thin crust and that’s exactly what we got. The wings were great! We did pay around $ 60.00 but the food was delicious and the employee was beyond friendly.
Definitely coming back.

Most of the reviews are spot on. Lunch buffet is from 11:00 to 2:00
I came at 1:00. They never restocked any of the food. Just left me the leftover scraps. No fresh pizza was made during the final hour.
Plus. The employee was glued to the tv above my chair. Felt like he was creeping on me.
