I am so disgusted by pizza hut corporation. The deal on tv says the wings and pizza are only 5 $ and they’re 7 $.. I am never eating Pizza Hut again.

Well this was kind of disappointing. Took advantage of the $ 6.99 for two or medium pizzas. Went for the supreme which was a great success and the super supreme which was a great mess. Switched the black olives for spinach and they must have forgotten because waiting one minute led into four or five minutes. They just tossed the spinach last minute. Not even one with the pizza, comes right off with no hassle.

This Pizza Hut is cool. I placed my order online as a carry out. I arrived early and it wasn’t ready which wasn’t an issue at all. I ordered the triple treat which is awesome it was less than $ 25. I liked the service the young lady provided and it was fast and nothing wrong with the order.

Do not order online from this Pizza Hut. They say they call to verify new accounts even though I placed the order with an existing account that I’ve been having for over the past five years. The account that i ordered the pizza with, had my home phone number stored and not my cell. Since the home phone was not picked up this Pizza Hut location cancelled my order. When I called the Pizza Hut they told me that they weren’t able to verify my account even though I ordered with my existing account. This is the first time that Pizza Hut had to call me to verify the order, I’m not sure if this policy is in line with Pizza Hut corporate or just this particular location. Regardless even after the confusion and mistake they still did not have the courtesy to offer me a free or even discounted pizza. On top of that when I was explaining my situation over the phone, the person I was speaking to hung up on me.

This place deserves two stars, if that. The pizza sauce has become SOSWEET it’s sickening. I don’t understand why they have to add sugar(and so much of it) to their ingredients, particularly the sauce. Pizza joints have become so disgusting and this place/location is no different. Btw-this location is a little hole in the wall next to walgreens. With only two small benches and a counter to pay, that’s about all you are going to get here. I would rather go to Tony’s pizza in whittier or Costco, even. Pizza Hut=gross!

Worst Pizza Hut ever. I ordered a two large two topping pizza with half chicken and mushrooms and the other just pepperoni. When I went to pick up my order I got half chicken half pepperoni and one pepperoni like really? The person who took my order just seemed uninterested and didn’t even pay attention. On top of that I still had to wait about 30 minutes. And I still got my order wrong. Whoever runs this place needs to get it right. I am never going to order here again it’s just sad and ridiculous that they can’t get an order right.

Don’t come here. Plain and simple. I made an order online and when I got there they made the wrong pizza. The guy at the front first told me it would take 2 minutes that they’ll bake the pineapple and they would add it to the pizza. Then he told me that the person that made the pizza actually completely messed up my order and they would need to make a new pizza and it would take about 10 minutes. At that point I decided to leave. If you can’t read a simple order that is on a piece of paper than I don’t think you are competent to be working there. I really like Pizza Hut but I will definitely never come to this location again. And If I could give them zero stars I would.

I don’t know how this place is still in business. The pizza tasted like crap, and was super expensive! I prefer Costoco Pizza over this crappy joint

I have had a different experience with this Pizza Hut location. They have delivered twice to my home and they have been efficient and on time. The first time they forgot our Diet Coke but it is ok. Delivery guys were nice. This time I had the skinny garden salad pizza and it was great! Did not feel cheesy and oily… more fresh and light! The Honey Siracha sticks were ok… not that amazing… it was a little cold… Overall loved the skinny pizza!

About a week ago(1÷14÷15), I placed an order for carryout using the Pizza Hut app. The guy at the counter was nice, but they forgot our breadsticks for both pasta orders. Each pasta order — the serving size for 2 — says it comes with 5 breadsticks. Well, it took a good 5 minutes of standing there with the rest of our order which was just sitting there getting cold, waiting for the breadsticks to come out. He apologized, but when I got home I realized it was just one order of 5 breadsticks I had been given… Unless they mean to count the halves as a full breadstick. Kind of a ripoff if you ask me. They should specify that on the app. The app is nice to use when you want to put in an order in a flash, but some of the details are missing. Like the above-stated breadsticks issue. You can order breadsticks(even flavored ones including honey sriracha, toasted asiago, toasted parmesan, toasted cheddar, fiery red pepper, or the classic plain ones) separately, but they don’t tell you how much is in a $ 5 order, just shows a picture with 5 of them. So there are just 5 breadsticks? A whopping $ 1 per breadstick? And is it a whole breadstick or just a half like what I got stuck with? And then the family size pastas currently just say«includes breadsticks.» Well, how many? This is important stuff because my family likes bread. If I don’t order enough I’m the bad guy. The Tuscani meaty marinara pasta($ 8.00) was fine. It actually tasted better as leftovers the next day, ha! The Tuscani chicken Alfredo($ 8.00) was even better. Not as greasy anyway. Don’t get me wrong, all of the food was greasy, but our chicken Alfredo order was the least saturated in liquid love handles. But I really liked perhaps the most greasy & absolute least healthy option to our meal… The cinnamon sticks($ 5.00). I ordered a small pack of icing($.50 each), but they thankfully slipped in a second(much needed) packet that I think already came with the order. Another iffy detail about the PH app. I don’t mind greasy food every once in a while when it is this(somewhat) affordable, but it would have helped to have all the breadsticks since that’s what they advertise. There is no dining room at this location. For that you’d have to go to the next nearest PH on Imperial. I’m glad that they haven’t started charging $ 1 for the individual packets of red crushed pepper and parmesan cheese like another major pizza chain(starts with a «D»), but speaking of packets… they didn’t even ask if I needed any. I guess that’s protocol. Review #331 Unilocal challenge 201512⁄100

UPDATE: I forwarded my complaint to the main Pizza Hut website. They sent me a courteous reply back and said that they’ve sent this information to the«higher ups» in the Downey region. I just received a call from them today. The representative by the name of Diego told me the exact same thing that the«Nessa» from that night told me. Here is my email response to the company after this phone conversation. «I sent you guys an email a few days ago regarding the possible scam going on at the Pizza Hut on Florence Ave in Downey, CA. I get that this is probably some automated response system that forwards my comments to whichever store I’m complaining about. However I just received a call from a guy named Diego representing the Downey Pizza Hut. He basically told me the same exact thing the Downey Pizza Hut has told me during the incident and I’m still quite skeptical of the entire thing. I still don’t understand why they need my entire 16 digit card number, full name and expiration date written out on the merchant copy of the receipt. Saying that fraud and that it’s company policy is just not a reasonable explanation. It should be proof enough when the delivery guy checks the card used for payment and ID to see if it matches the information on the receipt. That should be PLENTY. Why do I need to provide all the rest of the very private information on my card? I feel like I’m just setting myself up for bad news. I feel like this was seriously mishandled. The way this „representative“ handled the situation, as polite as he may have tried to be, was incorrect. Unfortunately this whole situation has turned me off of buying Pizza Hut in the future. Thanks guys. I will miss the pan pizzas that I have grown up with. I will not put my finances at risk for what used to be my favorite pizza place.»

I love Pizza Hut but this location is stingy with ingredients. I ordered a large pepperoni carry out pizza because my son loves picking off the pepperoni before eating his slice. The entire pizza had 5 Pepperonis total! I did write a complaint and the manager gave me a call to credit my name and number in the system for another pizza of my choice only valid at this location(which is why I gave a second star) but am I really going back to this location when they will probably spit in my order? Nope.

The staff at this pizza hut is terrible !! After placing my order for carryout and waiting 30 minutes to get there. I walked in and waited about 5 minutes before a guy came up to ask me if I was there to pick up an order. After telling him«yes I was there to pick up my order», he then walked to the back and stayed there for almost 10 entire minutes(I kept watching the time). After I almost yelled back there to get his attention. He finally remembered me and brought my order out apologizing for making me wait. A girl in the back looked at me 3 times and never acknowledged me. I love pizza hut but this place definitely lost more than one customer with my group!

I have to agree with Jasmine R I ordered the cheesy bites pizza and it had such a lame amount of cheese that I only had one piece and I was done with it. That’s nothing really considering I’m a 2 — 4 slice pizza guy. when I called to complain they were rude and very unprofessional, this is the last time(for a while) that I buy pizza from this or any Pizza Hut… really this pizza was so bad that I decided to do a taste comparison with 7 eleven’s $ 5.55 pizza and by far the 7 eleven pizza had more cheese more peperoni and better tasting sauce, I understand that the sauce is a matter of taste but the amount of cheese and peperoni is not some vague preference, like the person that took my complaint argued. Pizza Hut used to be a place where you could have some good pizza accompanied by a flat pitcher of beer but you put up with the watered down beer because the pizza was good. Now Pizza Hut is a lame corporate shell bent on pushing their poopsi brand sugar water. God help us when the crook or poopsi brand soft drink corporation buys in-n-out burger from Lynsi Martinez Torres, that’s the day that fast food in California will be dead forever.

I ordered a pepperoni cheesey bites pizza and really it should just be called bread bites pizza. Literally no cheese in them. So disappointed and a waste of money. You guys need to put more cheese in them, there was literally nothing in the middle of the bits just the very ends where the cheese of the pizza was.

Although they messed up the charge, over charging me for my pizza, once I called they had no problem correcting their mistake. They brought me the difference when they brought me my pizza. The pizza was on time and hot. The delivery man was very friendly. I gave him the over charge since he was so nice and prompt. Ultimately, my pizza was tasty and my experience was pretty smooth. Giving them all their stars for righting their wrong quickly and for bringing me a tasty hot pizza that satisfied a pregnant woman’s cravings lol

So, the pizza is generally good with plenty of cheese(i love cheese). I am usually happy with this location in terms of delivery and wait, but the wings are a bit lacking in my opinion. I tried the medium buffalo and they were not great, i have had much better buffalo wings in other locations. For some reason it reminded me of powder spice. I also wish you could order half boneless and half bone in when sharing with multiple people, but that might just be normal thing so i will leave this as a side note.

We love Pizza Hut don’t get me wrong but at this place the pizza always seems a lot greasier than others. Today I ordered our pizza online and it was ready at the exact time it said! No need to be placed on hold or listen to their cheesy recording. I signed up online awhile back and for my birthday they sent me a coupon for free Cinnamon Sticks or Breadsticks! The service here is pretty great, always on time and friendly!
