Silverio and Kenneth are the best, my tankless water heater had issue’s with the main power board, after going all over town including major electronic stores like Fry’s, not only did they have the very obscure MOV in stock, Kenneth installed in for five dollars, these two are VERY knowledgable and pointed out the mistakes I had been lead to believe were the problem, the bottom line is that we have hot water again, and we don’t have to wait a week for parts from Takagi. Thank goodness stores like this still exsist. I would give them 10 stars if I could, thanks again.

Typical little electronic supply shop. Not as well stocked as some, like JK down in Westminster, but not bad for basic needs. The guy behind the counter was nice enough and made two trips to the back to look for the capacitor I needed. Didn’t have it but you can’t expect them to have the inventory of MCM or Mouser. I’ll take helpful any day of the week, even though I’m still without my part. Can’t speak to their pricing since they didn’t have what I wanted.

There isn’t much to Net Electronics in terms of looks because it is just a plain old electronics shop. It is well stocked with a variety of electronic components and other doodads. They also rent out metal detectors here, which is something I have never seen before. I decided to come here in search of a part that I needed for a rebuildable atomizer for my vape. I initially went to all the hardware stores to no avail until I ran into an employee at Home Depot that suggested I come here since it was a very specific electronic component that I needed. I walk in and begin my search. After about 45 minutes of going through all the little bags of screws, I decided I would ask one of the employees. I waited in line for about 20 minutes as the line of people had grown pretty decently in size. There were three people working the counter when I was there: a Mexican man, an older White fellow, and an Asian man. Both the White man and the Asian man were very friendly and attentive to what their customers needed. I saw the White man go through the entire store and all of the different drawers of components in the back only to return to the customer empty handed with some advice as to which other shops he could try. The Mexican man on the other hand seemed like he hated his job and wanted no business being there. When it was finally my turn, I had the misfortune of being called up by the Mexican man. I trod over to the counter only to be greeted with a cold stare, not even a hello! I explain to him the part that I need, and show him my atomizer with the missing part. I then explain how it works similar to a binding block for a speaker. He takes one short glance at it and mutters, «We don’t carry anything like that. Next!» And just like that I was sent out the door. If you do decide to take your business here, do yourself a favor and avoid the Mexican guy.

Net Electronics is like a mom & pop store where they might be small, but they have quality parts to sell and helpful staff. Unlike Fry’s, big franchise, but can’t find good knowledgeable staff to help customers and the drive is quite a bear. That’s why people pay more for electronic parts at MarVac electronics where I used to work, but you get fast service and knowledgeable staff and that’s what people pay for. I teach Engineering & Technology and I buy special project supplies from Net instead of driving all over town wasting time, money, and fuel. I rather spend my money here and help these guys out than giving it to people out of town or state.

They sell great components, like non-polar capacitors to give tiny speakers more bass! They also sell a lot of audio equipment and stuff like that. Great place, but let me tell you, the two fat old guys that own the place there are fucking assholes! Everytime I buy something, they just throw the change in my hand. They are very slow to respond to customers when they walk in, and I’ve seen better prices on components at Frys Electronics. I only come here cuz frys is too far away and I used to be all into cb radios so i would by the final transistors and shit. Other than that, do not come to this store. They need to retrain themselves and shit like that. And they nickel and dime you on everything. Some small stores are nice enough to cover the tax for you when you buy something really big, but this fucking place charges for everything, and they round it up too. They have an amazing selection on everything though and they are always in stock. OH, and another thing. They do that illegal thing where you cannot use a credit card to purchase anything unless the total including taxes is above five dollars. talk about shiesty. And they are all rude about it too. They are all like NONONOINO!!! FUCKTHISSHITMAN!!!

I came here looking for 820uf 25v, and 330uf 25v capacitors that i needed to repair a samsung 214T monitor. They only had the 330uf capacitors, I bought 3 of them and they cost me 9.52 cents!!! I went ahead and bought em cuz I really need to repair the LCD monitor. The store is ran by two old and fat caucasian men who seemed like they were on their rag or reaching male menopause as they talked to their customers, VERYUNFRIENDLY. They told me I would find the missing capacitors at radio shock. I went to radio shack after, and they didnt have them. You can buy capacitors only for less than a dollar each +shipping ofcoarse. And that’s what I did when I got home. I shouldve bought all of em online. I got gypped at this downey electronics shop, and their customer service skills are the worse I have seen! …hmmm maybe they’re at the same level as those of the owner of Deja Vu in Isla Vista, Santa Barbara. I would not recommend buying anything here unless your projects absolutely cannot wait 2 – 3 more days. I would choose«ultra high-end» on the pricing, but I did not notice how all the other prices were.

When working on those special projects that you have no idea how are you going to complete it, you’ve found the place. all kinds of fun electronic parts and components. And if you don’t have any projects going on, you will as soon as you walk in here.
