The numbers, even on their web site, are disconnected. Open table taken down. Apparently closed.

Scarletti’s really exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious! The bread that they serve before the meal was fantastic and they did a good job of bringing refills out. I probably had two baskets myself. I went with a large party and we ordered several appetizers so I was able to try several things. I loved just about everything from the calamari to the bruschetta. My main meal was supposed to be the pepperoni pizza, but I had already eaten so much that I didn’t come close to finishing it. I feel like it compares well to the pizza in the Chicago area and I would love to come back after an outstanding first visit. The prices are reasonable too. The only bad thing about my experience was that I ended up overeating.

Decent food. I had the spicy rigatoni for lunch and was expecting something more spicy. Menu is pretty basic and straight to the point.

A friend and I went here for the first time last night. The service is friendly, prompt and attentive during the meal. For the gluten free tribe, all their sauces are gluten free and they offer one pasta(rotelle) that is also sans gluten. The choice of sauces is quite generous and I enjoyed the pesto. For those who can partake, the basket of thin-sliced Italian bread is always kept full and served with marinara sauce and olive oil for dipping. The owners are quite involved in the actual serving and continual cleaning of the facility. Parking is plentiful in the surrounding streets. The bathrooms were immaculate. I don’t think that the restaurant itself provides Wi-Fi, but you might get lucky in picking up an open network in the neighborhood, such as from the Starbucks across Main Street. The inside of the restaurant offers ample seating and many window seats, plus outdoor dining. The bar has three large screen TVs. The place is tastefully decorated and modern feeling. The menu also features a variety of pizza selections. If you’re stepping out of the Tivoli or on your way there and looking for a bite, this might be the place to accomplish that.

We have been muliple times. No matter what we order it is always great. The staff is very attentive and goes the extra mile. We went there for aniversary dinner and got call from son who was home sick. They quickly wrapped up dinner and sent us home with special desert.

My husband and I went to Scarletti’s to celebrate my birthday. We had been here a year ago to celebrate our anniversary and had a good experience. This time was a lot different, the food was average at best, the waitress was rude and the service was slow. Our appetizer came with only 1 plate(there were two of us) when I asked for another plate, the waitress threw one like a frisbee on the table. When she came back to take our order, I asked if we could get some table bread to go with the dipping oil and was rudely told that she would get it for us but she was very busy. Then she looked at my husband and asked him to repeat his order because I had distracted her with my question. Then we waited a while to get our food. Very disappointed, hopefully it was just a bad day. Unfortunately for them we won’t be returning.

My grown daughter and I wandered over here last Friday after a show at the Tivoli. The restaurant itself is very nice — linen/paper, great lighting. Our hostess was prompt and professional. Once we were seated(the place was full!), I have to admit, we waited at least 10 minutes until our server approached the table. She was polite and professional. I wish the delicious bread they brought to our table was served with butter, as well as marinara sauce. The calamari we ordered was great — although no squiggly pieces, which I missed. I was ready to deliver 5 stars to this awesome little restaurant — but I could not — I ordered the special of the night, which was pan-seared scallops over asparagus risotto. Presentation was great, the scallops were spot-on, but the risotto was really undercooked. It was a disappointment. I’ll venture back to Scarletti’s — I have a hunch there are good things happening here…

Great food. Standard prices. Sausage and peppers were probably the best I’ve ever had. Stuffed mushrooms were great too. Service was attentive and caring. I’ll definitely go back.

We had a great time here on the friday night after Thanksgiving. We had a party of five with reservations for 5:30. We found street parking directly across the street. The décor is nice and warm. The place was full. Our waiter was super attentive, thoughtful and helpful. We all loved our meals and wine. Best Malbec my husband has ever had. I did the make your own pasta dish thingy with penne, tomato cream sauce, shrimp and asparagus. ITWASWONDERFUL. The sauce was perfect, and the shrimp and the asparagus were done just right. The asparagus was crisp with just enough tender. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that it was a touch crowded and a bit noisy, but thats hardly something that can be helped, giving the space it occupies. Looking forward to a return trip.

Great service. Everyone there was very attentive. The pasta was good. And I couldn’t stop eating the complimentary pizza bread. If you’re ever in the downtown Downers Grove area you should stop by.

Ordered one of their specialty drinks. Vod martini w fresh stuffed olives. Took the bartender 15 – 20 mins to just stuff my olives for one of their menu drinks. Ugh

I just ordered the Salmon Salad to go today for lunch. I was tied between finishing my lunch or writing a review on how delicious it was! I will get it a million times again.

I have dined here at least six times, tried Lasagne, six pasta dishes, the brushetta and deserts are all delicious. We will continue to dine here on a regular basis. The pasta with short ribs is one of my favorite dishes as is the ravioli stuffed with butternut squash. The service is usually excellent.

Color me unimpressed. I met up with a group of about twelve people here and really the best thing I can say is that the service was good. I ordered their pasta dish with veggies and tomato pesto and really I could have made better myself. It just wasn’t interesting or exciting. Everyone at the table seemed to have the same thoughts about their food, including the three people that ordered their«award winning lasagna.» The food was delivered hot and quickly, and the server was nice enough to spil up our check after we went through and marked off who’d ordered what. If I was going out with a group again and they really wanted to come here, I’d probably tag along, but I don’t think I would just decided to come here for dinner on my own.

Scarletti’s was fine. The service was really good. They were very attentive with follow-ups and refills and everything. For pizza, I’d say it was OK. The sauce could have been more flavorful. Also, the crust wasn’t as crispy as I would’ve liked. What I did like was the half side of the pizza that we got the spinach and garlic topping. The garlic was perfectly executed. That saved it, or this review wouldn’t have looked very pretty. I’m wondering how the pasta options are at this place. Maybe another time…

This is just an okay place. I did not order the pizza, so maybe my rating would have been higher. The restaurant is clean, and service is quick, in fact, too quick. I would rather finish my salad BEFORE I am served my entrée. There needs to be other options for DIPPING the bread rather then just being given marinara sauce. Also, had I known I would receive a side of pasta I would have requested something other than spaghetti and fortunately I had ordered the chicken picatta so that I had some sauce for that pasta. It had no topping. Kudos to the woman, who I am assuming is the owner, who came around and helped clear our plates and questioned us about not eating our spinach. She was really interested in our feedback. I would return, but I would try the pizza ~ then I know I would be able to finish my salad :)
