K&M Delivery/Moving

My wife and I moved from Lanham to Bowie. They showed up late but were very friendly. We completed the move in less time than the quote but tried to charge me for full time. I also paid a fee of 20 $ to book the appt but it never went to the cost of the move. They tracked spots on my carpet and my wife felt uncomfortable. Ill probably never use them again

Disappointed. Referred to K&M for handy man job… they may be better movers than handy men.
The owner agreed to complete a handy man job (hang three TVs and 2 large mirrors). Service rate is $ 150 for the first hour + $ 75 per mount.
The building is a high rise in Montgomery County. I found out later that building code requires metal studs in all high rises but the so-​called handy man was unaware.
After waiting 90 minutes for them to show up, the team started work. Unfortunately the team realized only after attempting to hang two TVs that the studs in this walls were metal and they did not have proper material (or knowledge) to hang them. They offered to return the next day (too late to finish the job as planned) to complete the mirror mounting, the small TV mount and patch the holes from the first attempt.
Team 2 was not successful, timely or prepared to deliver as promised. The team came without tools, wall patch or proper hanging mounts for anything. After paying service fee, I am out money and still have to patch my holes, clean up the dirty finger prints from the walls and pay a real handy man to mount the TVs and mirrors.
I just wish they had acknowledged that they were not equipped to mount TVs but could assist in my living needs.
Be careful what you commit to with this company.

My fiancé and I recently moved in the Columbia area. After shopping around for different quotes, it was clear K&M Moving was the most affordable. Malik was very professional and prompt with communication. He followed up and made me feel like a valued customer throughout the whole process. Malik impressed us with his strength and efficiency, making our move as seamless as possible. Case in point: he carried our huge sofa by himself like it was no big deal. We will definitely be using K&M for our next move!

I recently moved from Baltimore to Silver Spring. I selected K&M movers based on many positive reviews on the U-​Haul website. There were no negative reviews. They were professional from the start. Malik, the CEO, is prompt with his communication and set everything up. There were no hidden fees. The team of Anthony, Keith and Ed were courteous, professional and good people. They made our move easy and navigated some tight spots for us. I would recommend K&M highly.
