* update!!! sick for two days !!! Please beware not fresh!!!)I am disgusted by this meal. The scallops were vile and I am so afraid of how ill I am going to be this evening after eating this. Stay far away!!! Not fresh at all! If I could put no stars I would.

I came here with a friend who recomended the place with rave reviews. Unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. The server was not at all knowledgeable about the menu or the food. We got crawfish and a few appetizers. The crawfish was bland and a bit overcooked. I probably wont be making the trip out there again.

No. Just no. I tried it once and was totally let down. My friend told me to give it a second chance and was even more disappointed. The food is terrible. The crawfish looks scary. It comes in a bag and when you pour it out it literally stays in the shape. The never have the food ready when they say it will be.

Amazing! My husband is not a big seafood lover, but he does enjoy the jumbo fried shrimp here. I LOVE their boiled crawfish & I try to go at least once a week during crawfish season. They were big & yummy & I ate every last one! Good job!

Service was horrid. Seafood was ok at best. The place also appeared to be unclean inside. Definitely won’t be going back to this place.

We shared the 40 shrimp family meal. The shrimp were large and lightly battered, just perfect. We split the sides, fried rice and fries. Both portions were very generous. The salad was pretty sad, but other than that, the food was good. Prompt service.

This is another place where you have to rate it based on what it’s meant to be. It’s not going to hold up to a fancy fine-dining restaurant in star ratings, but it was never meant to be fancy fine dining. This is a dive seafood place, with fried and fresh seafood, and you just can’t beat that. I admit the menu is, uhm, mixed eclectic, if there even is such a thing. I mean, boudin balls and eggrolls with fried catfish and frog legs… really? Fried rice and cornmeal catfish? Strange match there. But the cole slaw is really good and fresh and cold and sweet and crisp – the creamy type, not the vinegary type. you can get some strange things for some folks, like fried calimari(a fave of mine), fried pickled(a fave of my daughter) and fried gator, which is quite good! You can also get fried and sauteed frog legs! Yum! And in season, the crawfish boil is amazing. So the other night, we were at home, and I recently got out of the hospital, so we decided to order takeout. You always hesitate takeout at places that aren’t ‘fast food’, because you never know how it’s going to turn out. So I’ve attached a picture of the stuffed red snapper meal with the fresh veggies. The put clarified butter in a little container with a lid – it was beautiful butter. The fish was just gorgeous. For a takeout dish, i was truly impressed. Some of their items are priced perfectly – and some are expensive. They serve fried scallop(which I’d never had before – love scallops, but wasn’t sure about fried ones – to me, the whole point of the scallop is to be sauteed and seared perfectly with that melt-in-your-mouth butteriness.)– I have to say, fried scallops aren’t bad. They are still soft and good, but I still prefer the sauteed ones to the fried. For takeout, they package things nicely. It’s styrofoam, but it’s packaged so things don’t fall over and mix or ruin. They put liquids in bowl containers with lids and package cocktail and tartar sauce with the takeout. They take call in orders and you can pick up at the window without ordering at the first window. So if you’re looking for some good fried or grilled fish, they have it for you! It’s fresh, too, especially if you stick with the local fish like the red snapper and catfish. The tilapia was super good too. the breading on the fish works great, but on the shrimp and scallops, it tended to fall off. Flavor was okay too, though. All said and done, it’s a decent place to eat when you’re wanting some easy and cheap seafood or fried fish. Not bad at all!

The food tasted bland and is grease. Just go down the street to the sesame house. You will love it.

We’ve Been eating here for years when we get that seafood urge. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. They have just about every combination and count of oysters, shrimp, fish, crawfish tails, and stuffed crab you could want grilled or fried. I stick to the fried stuff. Feeling extra hungry go with the combination plate C56. The service is usually excellent. There has been a few occasions where all their tables have gone from empty to completely seated in minutes and barraged the kitchen with orders. On these occasions they communicated the issue and kept the tea glasses topped off. Going to keep coming back.

Good food. Nice waitstaff. Grilled scallops were firm and yummy. Fried oysters were quite tastey. Etouffe had good flavor. Fried gator was tender and delicious.

Come for great crawfish of good flair and size. Shrimp have good flavor as cocktail. They were more than happy to provide spice in bowl and hot line water for cleaning fingers. Umm well service is mediocre. After explaining she is clocking in early she was slow. Good attitude but very slow. Did not come by till I was done eating . I will come back alone

Advice is to go in for service versus using the drive thru. Ordered a bowl of soup and had to wait 20 minutes to obtain food. Food is pretty good, but service is slow and lacks hospitality.

Biggest and best hamburgers in Dickinson, hands down. They are real burgers with a lot of meat and take a lot to finish with the fries. Seafood is good as well as the shrimp was hot and tasty and hush puppies are good. But their stand out on the menu are the burgers. Great place.

My parents moved down on 646 for over 2 years now and today I decided to take my mom out here for crawfish instead of traveling 45 minutes to Bellaire. We came in around 6pm and it’s pretty empty, maybe 3 tables at the most. We were told to pick a table and be seated. The menu is fairly big and I opted for crawfish étouffée and 2 pounds of crawfish medium spicy. Crawfish étouffée: I felt it was too thick and not enough flavor. I probably won’t reorder. This item came with a salad and it was fresh and crisp! Crawfish: to my surprise it was really good! I will totally come back. It was full of flavor and spicy level was just right(a bit spicy for many I will suggest) I am glad there’s a crawfish restaurant around my moms side of town for me to take her out instead of driving down Bellaire.

Came in on a Monday afternoon place was almost empty, staff was friendly and efficient. Ordered a small gumbo which was pretty good, I also got salmon, 3 shrimp and 3 scallop entrée. Dirty rice was adequate, steamed veggies were good, the scallops were above par, the shrimp were really good, but then came the salmon appealing to the eye but when I took a bite I instantly knew it was far beyond its prime. When receiving the plate it had a fishy smell but I know salmon can smell like that but this by far was the worse salmon I have ever eaten. Bottom line: come for the gumbo but nothing else.

Food was good, BUT, the service was terrible, horrible, no good, very bad! After church my mum and her friends took us out here to eat. First, we were the first to walk in, then this family behind us walked in. Our waitress seated them before she seated us. That was strike one! Second, we had ordered our meals and drinks. Our drinks came out, and the salad tasted fresh and crispy. But once our food came out, our waitress was rude and unprofessional. She almost dropped all of our meals, she was cursing at her the other waitress under her breath(I watched her) because she didn’t have anywhere to place the server plate, then she handed out our food, but instead of doing it the right way. She hovered her arm on top of my mum’s friend food. That is nasty and that is beyond rude!!! Second strike! Third, it only took us a few minutes to eat. Our waitress never came back to check on us, she never brought us our check, she disappeared. I figured she got scared for what she did, though that isn’t no excuse to abandon us. We even asked the other waitress for a straw she gave us a straw, then we asked her for our check. Guess what, she never gave it to us. We were sitting there for about an hour waiting. And waiting. Nobody never showed up. We saw our waitress staring back at us, then helping another table. It wasn’t even a lot of people in the establishment. Strike three! I even saw the people from the table behind us get up and walk out because their waitress brought out their drinks, but never came back to check on them nor take their order. These employees must not care, they must want their business to go down under. The cocktail sauce wasn’t even cocktail, it looked like ketchup. It tasted like spicy ketchup. That didn’t sit well with me. This is supposed to be a SEAFOODRESTAURANT! Seriously, no cocktail sauce with horseradish!!! That’s crazy. At first, I did think this place would be way better than Baytown Seafood, but it was about the same bad service. I don’t even know why people like bad service, OR they probably treat other ethnic groups better. I guess they don’t like black people or they are biased. I don’t know, but they need to change and change real quick. No matter what your race is a person should never treat others with disrespect. I will not be coming back to this seafood place. Even though, our food was tasty. The service blew my appetite to ONESTAR.

My boyfriend & I come here all the time! We love love ordering the crawfish when it’s in season because it is absolutely perfect! If you can tolerate spiciness, go for the spicy. But, if you want just a bit of spice, order the normal. The first time I came here, I wasn’t a fan of it because the crawfish was small, bland, & not at all living the hype that I had been promised. However, I gave it another chance and I’m hooked! I even tried the salmon one day and it was tender, and perfect(without a doubt). However, our waiter was definitely slow. She took her time by giving us our drinks,(the third time mentioning them to her). She sat with some of the customers and sometimes, even ate with them! I understand you are supposed to get along with the customers, but not on such a comfortable level! She tried taking orders for EVERYSINGLETABLE& so of course, forgot any other tables along the way. What are the other servers doing? For the food, I’d come back. For the service, not so much.
