Eh. It’s a pre-made deli sandwich with lower quality turkey… It is what it is. But it’s more edible than Ruby Tuesday’s! That was awful!!! It’s clean and they have fruit which is nice. They did decide to clean the dust covered air vent above the tables where everyone was eating while everyone was eating… Eh

There are a lot of dining choices at Terminal A… and apparently I may have picked the most disappointing one. In my defense, I was in a rush and didn’t have time to sit down. I was in the mood for a salad and settled for a prepackaged chicken salad at Online Café. I wish I hadn’t. The chicken was dry, overcooked, tasteless and was thrown together with a pile of browning iceberg lettuce, walnuts and crispy noodles all served with a side of… teriyaki sauce? Wait, is that right? Not sure, but I am sure that the next time I’m at the Detroit airport, I’ll remember to avoid Online Café — at least the prepackaged meals!

It’s food. Waitress was friendly. Omelette was basic. Eggs and toast looked more manufactured than prepared.

Basic breakfast. Over cooked omelet and extremely under cooked hash browns. My OJ was room Temperature. I never got asked for a refill on drinks, the waitress was kind, but then again my overall service was average at best.

Food was okay but wait time for food and to pay was horrible for an airport restaurant.

D I S G U S T I N G. Don’t waste your time or money. The worst bloody Mary ever… unless you like vinegar. Mine got olives, but the woman next to me… not so lucky. The service was bad. I ordered eggs pancakes sausage and bacon. My eggs were sooooo greasy. Even after I wiped them down they were a greasy mess. Pancakes… no butter. By the time she(the waitress) came back around, my pancakes were cold. The butter, by the way was under the bar where I was sitting. Why didn’t she bring the butter with the food? Also waited for another round of being ignored for more than 2 tablespoons of syrup. Oh… if you order a bloody Mary after a certain time, you pay more money!!! It’s the same damn drink… but you pay a PM price. Again, don’t go. If you want breakfast after 11AM… go somewhere else… wait…there is nowhere in the airport for breakfast food. Blachhhhh.(That was me ready to vomit)

just your average joe airport bar. Good for a few drinks and a couple rounds of Keno. Food is the same as any place you go to for cheap burgers and fries. Just use it to pass the time while waiting for your flight.

Not crowded at 6am, but it was still difficult to get any service, which will drive you nuts when you only have half an hour or so before your flight begins boarding. A pet peeve of mine is when other people arrive after I do, but are greeted and served ahead of me… grrrrrr!!! Anyway, my toasted bagel and side of bacon weren’t exceptional, but fit the bill. The place was bright and close to my gate, which makes it hard to complain too much. Better than one of those little kiosks I suppose.

My co-worker and I wanted to try a new restaurant at the Detroit airport during our weekly layover from Scranton to Nashville. I needed to charge my phone as well as have access to wifi. Keep in the mind, the whole airport is equipped with free wifi throughout. Anyway, Jodi was our waitress and she was great. She was quick to serve us our drinks and took our food order. I had the Blue Tini(hypnotiq, malibu, blue curacao, pineapple and cranberry juice), it was on the verge of being too sweet but still pretty good. My fruit salad(cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple) was fresh and delicious.

Stopped in here for breakfast and my expectations were that this would pretty much be like eating in a local diner. From that perspective, it met my expectations. Nothing fancy and fairly basic breakfast options on the menu. Food came out quickly and was hot and overall quality was fair. No issues with service and never had to ask for refills on my coffee. The free wi-fi worked perfectly fine.

Great place to sit at and have a few drinks before takeoff. Place gets very busy during lunch hours. Service is very fast and place is very clean. Food is ok, and people that work there are very pleasant. I know the owners, and they are the most humble kind men I know.

Never, never, never, ever eat here. Got the wrong order was explained that it was a new cook. Thankfully for future customers he/she may not be there for long.

My negative review is based entirely on the service(I never expect too much from airport restaurant food). We sat there for ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Then we ordered very simply, yet it took another 15 minute to even get our drinks! When we asked for the bill, the waitress threw it down without even as much as a goodbye or thanks. The space is pleasant, they need to work on the service… a LOT.

Stickiest tables in the airport. Do NOT reach under your seat. Despite the cleanliness issues, service was good and fast and the omelet was delicious.

A good option for refueling computers, phone and carbon-based units(humans). They have power outlets at every tables except those at the center. They have a good shawarma that is not too overprice, nice in an airport!

Over-priced glass of wine. Service was pretty painful as well — they ignored me most of the time, and there weren’t even hardly any customers there. I didn’t like the looks of any of the food there, so I didn’t bother with food. It was stupid of me not to look at the Unilocal reviews and stupid of me not to see that there was a proper wine bar not too far from this location. Don’t make my mistake — if you want some wine, head to the wine bar! Also, they were pretty rude about the closing time. Like trying to push you out the door. Excuse me — I want to finish my over-priced glass of wine.

I travel quite a bit through the Detroit airport, and I’ve settled on Online Café to be my go-to dining option. I don’t eat here because of the internet service; in fact I’ve never even used it. I eat here because the food is consistently decent, and let’s be honest that’s all were asking for in an airport restaurant. I’ve never had bad service here, and more often than not my service is above par. My food is always promptly served; as you’d like it to be when you’re on-the-go. The breakfasts are good, and the quality has actually gone up over the past year. They used to service two pieces of you’re regular bottom of the barrel toast, but now they service one nice hearty piece of toast. Let’s be honest, one really good piece of toast is a lot better than two bad pieces — they made the right decision there. I always get the veggie omelet; it has never let me down. Recently I’ve traveled in the afternoon and have toured the lunch menu; I’ve only ordered the fatoosh salad and stuffed pepper soup, which were both superb. Online Café is my meal destination in the Detroit airport.

I was happy to find a comfortable place to hang for a layover and hopefully get something healthy, but tasty. The Asian Chicken Salad was surprisingly good & I was glad I got it. The décor & concept of this bar in Detroit Metro Airport is an upscale & inviting office! They have printing, copying & faxing services available & of course, free wi-fi. Open and airy across from Gate 36 on A Concourse.

Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s loooonnnnnng Concourse A sure is hurting for some Kristin-approved dining options. Must have walked the better part of a mile back and forth during our 2-hour layover until, feeling defeated, we settled with Online Café last Tuesday. My boyfriend and I both ordered the same satisfying thing, The Super Reuben with Turkey: Nice amount of meat. Lovely toasted swirled bread. Thousand Island on the side. Not so bad. Sandwich was just fine, but I didn’t care for the potato chips at all. The idea of paying a restaurant/café/bar – especially one with«ONLINE» in its business name – to use one’s own computer is weird to me, but I was there for the food and not the Internet. I noticed this sign and snapped a photo of it, and these same fees apply to use of one’s own laptop as well: «Laptop computers are available for rental inquire with your server $ 5.25 for 30 minutes $ 7.95 for unlimited time» Decent airport dinner with friendly, simple service. I’d consider returning to Online Café the next time I wind up in Concourse A for a few hours around dinnertime.
