Stopped by here between flights on a long layover. I was looking for a place that might have a few menu options in the C concourse. I figured a sports bar would have a burger and fries, maybe a hot sandwich like a rueben, or maybe even a bowl of chili or something. I was wrong. Two cold sandwiches, chips & salsa, soup of the day, some sort of salad, and pizza pizza under a heat lamp is all that this place offers for food. I ended up getting a turkey sandwich and a beer. The sandwich rivaled those wrapped in plastic wrap at the grab and go sections of the airport. Very dry, very plain, and mysteriously solid like a brick. At least they had mayonnaise and mustard to flavor it… at least they had several different local beers on tap. I had some type of seasonal which wasn’t a bad winter ale, although the Floridian taste buds of the guy next to me couldn’t handle it. I wasn’t satisfied with the meal which is overly common at airport establishments, but then the bill came: $ 22.25 for a cold crappy turkey sandwich($ 9.50) and a beer($ 10.25) plus tax. $ 10.25 for a beer??? It wasn’t a martini or 20oz margarita, I’ve bought 12 packs of good microbrew for cheaper than that. It’d be real easy for someone to drop some cash in this establishment after not realize it. I wonder how that will feel on the tastebuds of the Floridian who sat next to me ordering drink after drink.

Quick stop before catching our flight. Atmosphere is a little cramped but Christina made the experience worthwhile! We didn’t eat here but we did sample a couple beers and our Server Christina was very accommodating and friendly helping us pick just the right brew! Grab a seat at the bar or overlooking the walkway, otherwise there is not much to look at in this small space. Lots of beers available on tap. So if your looking for a quick pick me up while swinging through the Detroit airport this is a good spot. If you have some time to kill, I’d opt for one if the more scenic spots in the airport.

I honestly would get fast food before eating here again. On the bright side, they have beer. The service is slower than you would expect though, beware,

The pizza isn’t that good but i was starving and it sufficed. All the other food seemed super pricey. One bartender seemed to be running the whole place. I received great service at the bar but I can see where some may get less service over at tables. I was impressed that I had some decent craft beers available to me. Two different New Belgium beers and one Shorts on draught. I think the beers were around 8.25 a piece and the pizza was 4. Of course that’s ridiculous but it is the airport after all.

I have not received any form of discount for writing my review now am I related nor know anyone who works there. I’m not sure why there was a statement about that on here when I went to write my review, but rest assured — I’m just a frequent traveler! I thought the young man behind the bar was just the right about of friendly — I don’t like those who pester me too much. I also thought his timing was good as far as taking my order — getting my drinks — and the extras I asked for. The beer was nice and cold — thankfully, because I asked for my wings NOT to have the hot sauce on them and I actually think they added more. The pizza he gave me was not the one that had been sitting there — he told me to wait just one minute for the fresh pizza, which was really not bad for this sort of place. I’d surely return if I was in this terminal again!

Terrible service. I had to ask multiple times to have the table wiped so I could even sit down. I had to wait to order. The waiter was not helpful about my food selection. The waiter was not attentive — he finally asked me once if everything was alright while I was waiting for him to bring my food, which was still sitting on the counter getting cold waiting for him to bring it to me. And the food was not that good — I had the chicken quesadilla. It looked like they were severely understaffed, one guy taking care of too many people.

Here in the C concourse pickins are mighty slim… Fuddruckers is not on my list anymore ever since they served me a dry, tasteless hamburger that I wouldn’t feed even to my neighbor’s dog… the one that I don’t like. Wendy’s at the beginning of the B Concourse is not bad… but Detroit 500 has dogs, and beer. So that trumps both of the others. I like the Polish sausage with sauerkraut, probably my favorite. Service several times is only so-so, a bit on the slow side.

Came here since i was waiting on my plane to board at the airport. Food was good. I had a corned beef sandwich on rye with chips. Came out fast and was very tasty. The service was really good too.

I know it’s an airport and they can get away with just about anything, but wow. Just wow. I could not believe how terrible this place was. Charging a little more for a better beer in an airport is one thing, but $ 10 for a fat tire is absurd. Next there was the food. I ordered a couple slices of pizza. Normally, when it takes 15 minutes to get food, you expect them to have made it for you, but no, it took 15 minutes for the waitress to chat with the bartender and then get it out of a warmer behind the bar. On top of that, it was some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. It was the«I’ve burned frozen pizzas in my oven that tasted better» level of bad. Would i ever come here again? No, in fact on my return trip, I didn’t even give it a second glance, I went to the McDonalds instead, at least their food is consistent. If a friend ever asked me about places to eat in the detroit airport, I would tell them to avoid this place at all costs.

This restaurant was great. I couldn’t get over how fast the waitress was, even though she appeared to be the only person working other than the kitchen staff. The food was very flavorful and filling without emptying my wallet. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews of this place, but to me they all sound like grumpy travelers. I had a great experience and will be back if I ever find myself there again.

I was worried after reading other reviews that I should just turn and run away. While my short stay at this airport nook wasn’t mindblowing, it was indeed adequate. The bartender and waitress didn’t display any of the mood issues that were mentioned by previous reviewers.(But really, who could blame an airport bartender for being cranky? Cut them some slack — their job kinda sucks!) On the contrary, they both seemed personable and helpful enough. I sat alone and ate my deadly breakfast wrap, which also wasn’t great or disgusting — just your typical junky airport food. At $ 5, the price was a little steep, but the wrap was about twice as big as I expected it to be. All in all, a very bland, average experience… not that I expect anything else from an airport restaurant.

Had layover and stuck in miserable concourse C. Should’ve just walk to concourse A but gate agents won’t let me leave their sight(«could take off ANY minute!») so I had a quick refuel here and hat a mistake. Just simply bad attitude all the way. If they don’t want to serve a drink then don’t offer drink or put up a sign«min food order $ 100». Jeez. Get a life.
