Chicken Salad Chick

Not sure what to say really… It seems like canned chicken and a whole bunch of mayonnaise for almost all of the different types of «chicken salad.» I am not quite sure what to say about this place because I ordered a trio of various types of chicken salad and they were all awful. Underseasoned and honestly for scoop and serve, they looked terrible. I will not be going back to this place ever not just because of the food… And how horrible it was.
Let’s be honest… It’s chicken salad. Something that is prepared ahead of time. Why should I have to wait close to 20 plus minutes when I was first in line to get three scoops of something that was already made.
I’m sure people like stuff like this and no offense to the ones that do, but I can make better chicken salad with my eyes closed and no hands and no ingredients to be quite honest.
I am a big fan of customer service and that customer service left me speechless I literally have no comment on how terrible it was… I truthfully don’t know what to say. Try it if you want but I guarantee you can make something better at your home as long as you have some mayonnaise and a can of chicken. It is incredibly surprising that this place is a national chain… Unbelievable. I would avoid this place if I were you but everyone has to decide for themselves. Good luck if you try.

Delicious! As a local, great quick food is hard to find. Look no further. I loved the jalapeño chicken salad on hogie, broccoli salad on the side minus the bacon :) AHH MAY ZING!

Loved this place! Lunch was great. I had the Fancy Nancy chicken salad sandwich with chips, a pickle, and pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was to die for. The portions were perfect and the service was a great. A quaint atmosphere to relax with friends. Definitely will be back!

We were vacationing in Destin staying in the Destiny East subdivision and decided to try this place for lunch. They have quite a variety of chicken salads. I tried a spicy one (forgot the name) and it was really good. not to spicy but a little kick. Their sides are really good, I had the grapes (which had a tasty topping on it) and the broccoli which had bacon, cheese and tasty sauce on it. All in all the food was great for the price and I’ll return anytime I’m in Destin.

We were looking for a light lunch and decided to stop in, primarily because of the catchy name. The place was clean and busy. The menu looked good. The service turned out to be very slow and food bland. I would not say it was bad just lacked interest.
There are too many great places to eat in Destin not to serve GREAT food.

I stopped by yesterday to pick up some chicken salad to take to the beach. After the cashier had run my card, I realized I had forgotten to ask for the military discount. I apologized and asked her to charge back and rerun with the discount. She said they couldn’t charge back for «something like that». I thought my head was going to explode! I told her she would be doing the charge back and made her get the manager out to do it. It doesn’t matter if the food offering was good, I will never support an establishment that expresses such an ungrateful attitude for the sacrifice of military service. I will also leave a note in our condo. Shame on you!

We came here for lunch one day while on vacation. They have at least 10 varieties of different chicken salads to choose from. You can have it as a scoop or on a bread. I don’t recall some of the salad names, but I recommend choosing some of the more exciting ones. The Classic Carol which is the plain chicken salad was a little too plain and underwhelming. I got the broccoli salad as my side and it was excellent. The meal also came with a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. It was ok.

We love to come to chicken salad chick, food is great but not the service from one specific clerk. This is the second time being serviced by this clerk. She has never greeted us and she does not have a good attitude. The chicken salad chick in Panama City sets an amazing example for both great service and superb of food.

The food was pretty good, also a great concept. The restaurant it’s self is pretty cute. But as for the service I could say different. We didn’t encounter many people there but the lady at the cashier named Kayla was as rude as can be. The whole time she was looking at me like I was stupid, and I was never greeted with a smile from her. Then when she told me the total I took out my money right away holding it out for her to take but she was just standing there looking the other way listening to her coworkers talk. As far as that my experience there was fine otherwise.

Good choice on the healthier side. Several choice to consider but you can try them before you order. Fresh bread, nice portions and excellent service.

This spot is AMAZING! If you love chicken salad, like I do, you will not be disappointed by The Chicken Salad Chicks! My family and I were on vacation when we saw this place down the street from our hotel. My husband and I decided to stop by and we were so glad we did! They let you sample the salads. I got the Trio where you can choose 3 chicken salads of your liking. I chose the BBQ, Dixie and the one with bacon in it (can’t remember the name… sorry) and it was DELICIOUS! My husband got a pound of the Fancy Nancy. His was good too! Try it and you won’t be disappointed!

The wraps are pretty good but nothing crazy. Nice if youre looking for something light and fast to grab!

Love this place! The good is excellent always. The staff are very nice and if a mistake is made they fix it with no problems. Our office orders from them frequently and I am never disappointed. All the chicken salads are amazing and the grape salad is the best!

We drive by all the time and have never stopped… until today! So glad we did. Quick, yummy food. Had the buffalo chicken salad sandwich with the broccoli salad! That salad is absolutely amazing!!! It’s a great place to pick up some yummy beach food.

Chicken Salad Chick is one of our favorites back home, so happy to see a location at the beach! The building is open and airy and the food tastes just like home. The service was fast and quick (we got it to go). Our favorites are sassy Scotty (ranch, bacon and cheese) and Buffalo Barclay (buffalo sauce). 3 – 4 minutes past the outlet mall, much better option than what is there :)

from the names to the décor, oh, and of course, the chicken salad, this is a welcome addition to City Market shopping center and the heart of the Destin shopping corridor. As if the names of the chicken salads weren’t enough, the flavor of each different salad is truly amazing. With a family of 6, we had to try a host of options and none disappointed. The Buffalo Barclay appeased the tastebuds of my picky 13 year old and Jalepeno Holly appealed to my 7 year old. My wife loved Olivia’s Old South and I sampled each of the above while taking home Pimento Cheese for lunch the next day. We’ll definitely go back soon.

If you’re looking for some fast, easy lunch, this is the place to go. Conceptually, genius.
I don’t think it’s the most perfect chicken salad that I’ve ever had, but it’s pretty darn good.
My one complaint was that they only had ONE soup — even though all 4 are on their menu. If your menu is limited, it might be a good idea to have more than one soup/​day.

Looking for a place to grab a quick lunch and I stumbled upon Chicken Salad Chick. I usually don’t like chicken salad too much… but their salad changed my mind! Great flavors to chose from! My favorite was the luau… macadamia nut and pineapple :) the «spicy» selections are very mild. My only hope was to have the spicy salads to have more heat. Be sure to check out the Small Cakes cupcake store that is next store too!

Disgusting and a ripoff.
Go here if you like to pay 8 dollars for a small scoop of what is essentially a white paste of chicken meal mixed with a boatload of mayonnaise. Sorry, this is not chicken salad. This is chicken-​flavored mayo paste.
And the portions are really tiny (lots of bread, very little salad).
And they don’t even know how to make sweet tea right.

This is a unique concept for the Destin area. They specialize in chicken salad and offer 15 (or so) different types. You can order by the scoop or make it a sandwich, complete with soups and sides. They offer other types of sandwiches as well such as turkey, ham, etc. The restaurant itself is nice, very clean. I sampled 3 different types of chicken salad and all were very good. I’ll definitely return to try some other types. It’s a very simple concept but something that will catch on here.
