From first look there wasn’t that many people when we first came in but from the home made salsa recipe from a region I was told that was outside of Mexico City, to the amazing Cubana torta I was extremely impressed with the flavor of the food. My wife got the vegetarian burrito and said even though she doesn’t usually like Mexican she loved what she got this time! Must go!

Decided to check out Cinco De Mayo after Pepitos moved. First thing the margarita was watery. I had Beef tacos & they had no flavor — refried beans were awful. Pepitos moved further west on Hwy 98 — drive there for better margaritas & food.

The food is delicious and authentic, made by a true señora mexicana. I had the fish tacos and the mahi mahi was cooked to perfection. I also had their signature drink with oranges, lemons and grapefruit with tequila. in a clay vase, tasty!
The staff is very friendly and courteous.

Chips were stale. We had to ask three times for salsa because they only brought you about 2 teaspoons worth. Once we finally got enough salsa we asked for more chips which they never brought. The fajitas were $ 20 and the beans and rice that came with it were a joke. It wasn’t even 3 spoons full. They charged $ 1.15 more for the one extra tortilla that we used. Tried to order bean dip and they don’t have that. Service was slow. Sorry to say I don’t think this place is gonna make it too long.

I’m sad to review this place as a one star. It used to be pepitos but it changed names so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately our entire experience was bad except my boyfriend liked his rice and tacos. Put chips were stale and the salsa was not good. Don’t order the ceviche or cheese dip. The cheese dip was cold and hard. Ground beef was dried out. The ceviche had huge chunks of fish that was brown in color … Not white. Service was bad, we had empty drinks for the majority of our dinner.

My expectations were low. I’m a Mexican food snob and have found good food hard to come by here. The food far surpassed my low expectations. In fact, the steak in my quesadilla was seasoned well and the salsa is some of the best I’ve had. I would definitely come back.

Great dinner. Great service. We enjoyed the cucumber margaritas, chorizo queso dip, and shrimp cocktail. All were very good. The salsa was really good too and seemed to be made with roasted peppers. They have the usual Mexican dishes and some interesting ones– beef tongue tacos, octopus, etc. The owner described an octopus dish that sounded so good he convinced me to order it next time. We will be back to try some new dishes soon!

Had a great time, love the new owners. Really good margaritas. The place that was in this location prior was awful. Marked improvement. They are building their business and really want to please. I will do back again.

This place serves a different kind of Mexican food. They serve authentic Puebla, Mexico food. Even the salsa is different. If you expect the food to be like Taco Bell or Pepito’s you’re going to be disappointed. But if you want to try something different, you’ll need to stop by and give them a try. Those who appreciates different cultures and like to try new or different things, please check it out; those who do not, go back to Taco Bell.

Not impressed. I have never heard of a Mexican restaurant that did not have salsa made with tomatoes. The brought something green and runny to the table with stale chips. The service was slow, but it was empty. People kept walking by us without checking on us. No smiles either. It also did not see clean.

Guys, please step your game up! The food this evening was very much below average. I am a local business owner and can promise you that the restaurant will never survive with the SERVICE and FOOD QUALITY I received this evening. I truly want your business to be successful, but fear it will fail at this level of execution.
