This place has not changed from my last visit. It is still a good restaurant that serves ample portions at reasonable prices. I really liked their Taco Salad.

I’mThe food is excellent but the service is terrible. I have been there 3 times and each time a waitress named Ivana has caused some sort of loud scene. She has been my waitress twice and both times she got my order wrong. The first time she blamed it on the kitchen. Today, after she threw my plate down(I am not being dramatic) I politely said«this is not what I ordered» and she barked at me «what do you mean?» And rudely took the plate away. The table next to me had to send a plate back twice to which she then complained to us about how rude they were. Another table asked for tsaski sauce and she opened the container at the table and smelled it, nearly putting her nose in it. Finally, we asked for the check and she started talking about how she hoped it doesn’t rain because«three of my dogs SHIT all over the house» I really don’t want to hear that when I’m eating. I’d go back for the food but I will make sure I’m not in her section. Oh and she hovered around us when we went to. pay at the register, I’m assuming because she was afraid I would complain.

Coffee shop atmosphere where the silverware is bound up so tight lin a paper napkin, that you tear it as you try to unwind it. Clam chowder thick enough to hang wallpaper. Iceberg lettuce salad, and your usual breakfast and sandwich items. My server was more interested in getting her side work done

I’m so sorry that I had to put down two stars. I have so many mixed feelings about this place. There’s GREAT waitstaff and there’s HORRIBLE wait staff. I had an «ok» breakfast(and by ok I mean less than good) then I had even a lesser then ok breakfast. This place is big, beautiful, and very clean. The dining room is arraigned nicely. My first time there I had a nice waitress and she was fantastic. I ordered the country skillet with eggs I overly emphasized over easy and they came out done. It would appear that they were left under the warming lamp a bit too long. I would have addressed that if I had time. It was edible, the pancakes were good. The next time I was there I had a gentlemen waiter, AWFUL, his only excuse could be that this was his first day and I was his first customer. I got the ham/cheese omelet with a side of ham and pancakes. WHATISTHISAWFULTRENDTHAT I’M NOWSEEINGIN A LOTOFRESTAURANTS … THESEFORMEDOMELETS … CAN’T COOKSFOLDOMELETSANYMORE !!! I hate that. The add-ins never get heated through. The side of ham was so thin an so little of it. The pancakes this time was served with syrup IN A LITTLE2OZTO-GOCUP ??? Now I cannot remember if my first visit if the syrup was warm or not … but I know it didn’t come in a little plastic cup. And I don’t believe there is anything on the menu for anyone above 10 Y/O that is under $ 9. I tried … I gave you a second look. There will not be a third.

Tiffany’s is exactly what you’d hope it would be for when looking for a quick, delicious meal at a family-style restaurant. The owner, Ari, is very kind and has always made sure I am enjoying my meal. All meals come with bread to start. The breakfast here is delicious but last time I went I got a tuna melt and a salad which I split with my sister. Sizes of meals are very big and the staff is very friendly. Next time I’m looking for a place to eat around the area, I know I can always trust Tiffany’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thanks Ari!

Tasty diner — lots to choose from on the menu, I asked for a custom omelette and the waiter was happy to oblige. Coffee and beverages refilled frequently, no waiting. The interior is a little dated, but comfy. Overall this was a good experience — and bonus — very close to O’Hare, but affordable!

I went for lunch and was completely disappointed. I ordered a club sandwich, which came with soup, coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw was very good, The sandwhich had cold soggy toast and the meat was bland. The french fries were golden brown and looked deliciouis. It was too bad they were as cold as ice. The waitress seemed disinterested, she never came to check on our table to ask how our meal was or asked if we needed a refill on our drinks. If you are driving past Tiffany’s and are thinking about stopping for something to eat… speed up and keep on moving.

I stopped in after arriving at O’Hare. I was by myself and sat at the bar. The owner, Dmitri, was very nice and entertained me with good convo. Carol and Cathy were my servers and they were very friendly too. The food was on point! I had the veggie skillet and crepes! It felt like a slice of home, and I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in Chicago!

This breakfast spot has been here for at least 20 years. It has had many different magagment but been a park ridge /des plains staple. It takes the Tiffany design as a theme for its décor. Lots of stained glass. An initial issue is the parking lot. It is right next to a comfort inn which eats up what would appear to be the Resturant lot. The actual lot is behind that, next to a printing press. The staff seemed a little light for the crowd, at 10:30 am on a satuday. My particular waitress appeared to be a local high school student, which worried me with service. I was pleasently surprise that she was very profienct and professional taking care of as many tables as she did. She was stuck busting her butt with so many tables though. She did keep a bright smile on her face while she was trying to keep up. The biscuits and gravy came out fast, but the biscuits appear to have been made fresh in the morning. This is one of their specials so they probably have it prepped in the morning. The gravy was thick and darker. It had a lot of flavor and some good sized sausage chunks in it. They were a bit sparse on the amount that they gave you though. The eggs were made perfectly. The sausage patties were also very tasty. This was one of the first times I had finished my whole plate. So all in all the bng was the right side of great considering it is a chicago suburb and you really can’t find great anywhere around here. Well worth coming back in. I know the place had dropped off for a while but they seem to have changed management or owners or what not and are worth stopping by. Also seemed like a good value. My bill was 11ish with everything. I have reviewed places that have charged up to 20 for the same and it was not worth it.

I am staying nearby, so I decided to stop in for dinner after seeing some great reviews. The food was good, I got a cup of minestrone soup, grilled cheese, French fries and a diet coke, all for $ 10.00. Not a bad price. My main reason for giving 2 stars was the staff. The hostess was rude and acted as though she didn’t want to seat me. She was even complaining about how she did not like working at the restaurant, with some choice words in there. Made me a little uncomfortable. She also brought me my dinner, dropped it in front of me and had nothing to respond to my «Thank you very much!» Comment. Again, the food was good, but the service was not the greatest. Maybe take out is the way to go!

I stop for breakfast every now and then on my way home from my overnight job. I always pass Tiffany’s, but it wasn’t until a month ago or so that it occurred to me that I should stop there and check it out. I have been there before — but that was probably 25 years ago — so I’m thinking things might be a little different now. The place has been touting new ownership for awhile and it was easy to see that some work had been done inside the place in recent months. Nice, fresh look overall. Upon entry, I was greeted by a young server, who was the only server there at that point — she sat me promptly and asked if I wanted anything to drink(since I turned down the coffee). I asked her for a large OJ. Being kind of hungry, I decided to look into the skillet options as those are usually pretty filling no matter where you go. My orange juice arrives — not exactly a huge one — but OK. I order a CB Hash Skillet with scrambled eggs. Not too long after, it arrives and was pretty much as expected. Good taste, decent size. The hash browns were kind of the«scalloped» variety — all right by me, but wouldn’t pass the cut with any hash brown traditionalists. Nonetheless, I liked them. Server did well too — pretty prompt and very pleasant — if I knew her name, I would share it. I finish up and get my check — here was where the only hiccup kind of happened. I look at it and it’s $ 14.05 — but my skillet was just $ 8.99 — how’d we get a $ 5 jump??? Well — there it was — that not so huge OJ was $ 3.79. I know juice can be pricey in restaurants, but this stuff wasn’t fresh squeezed, it was out of a 1 gallon plastic container. Kind of put a damper on what otherwise was a pretty good experience. I might go back — but if I do — No juice for me!

Very surprised to see a 4star average review here… This was my first visit and I’m not really in a rush to return — Elly’s is MUCH better value, staff, atmosphere, food, etc. My waitress ultimately did her job but wasn’t the most pleasant… and kept checking on me at very odd times, impatient when I wasn’t ready to order quickly, and then asking how my food was before I had even taken a bite. Wifi wasn’t working so when I approached the hostess desk to ask someone about it, I found a manager(?) yelling at a customer. Wifi still didn’t work. Food was meh… my hash browns weren’t fully cooked, which made sense since I was surprised my food came out so quickly! The food was fine, but not as good as Elly’s or other competitors, or my own breakfast for that matter. The menu was a list of types(Greek, Hobo, etc.) all in different forms(omelette, skillet, scramble), so if you don’t like any of the combinations of fillings, it’s frustrating to see those same options in every form — the breakfast menu looks really long but is more limited than at other places. Eh… just left really unimpressed.

I met Arnie the owner. I was surprising my grandchildren and he agreed to help out. The surprise went off better than planned. We all tried something different. I had a skillet, wife had omelette, son in law had buffalo chicken wrap and daughter had blueberry pancakes with lemon ricotta!!! Very reasonable prices and the food was really great. Highly recommended.

When my boyfriend has to leave early on a Saturday morning for work but calls a few hours later and says«Do you want to meet me for breakfast?» first, I have to comprehend what he’s actually saying. Did he really just invite me to breakfast? He never wants to go to breakfast! Then, I have to find a place nearby that will surely not disappoint either of us. Thank you, Tiffany’s!(He also liked telling people we had Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and watching me glower as they all looked at my still naked ring finger.) Service was prompt and efficient — I felt bad because my BF had to take a work call while we were sitting waiting to place our order, and our server was very busy so I don’t think she was too happy about it. She said to me, «don’t come to breakfast with him anymore!» Which is the same thing my mother would say if she saw him on his phone while we were out enjoying a meal. I get it, but also that he’s a business owner. Work never stops. He had the cinnamon swirl french toast, which he devoured, so it must’ve been good. I had the corned beef hash skillet and was a bit picky about the way I ordered it(corned beef & hash browns well done.) The eggs(over easy) came out perfectly cooked and the rest of the order was to my liking. The parking lot is a little bit tricky to maneuver, but nothing too unmanageable. Many times we were offered coffee refills and the portions were huge. I’d definitely come back!

Went here for breakfast and had the ABC sandwich with eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were flavorless and more like mashed potatoes. The coffee was watered down. The service was phenomenal! Our waitress was very kind and very quick. Typical diner food but not bad. :)

This place was clean and very friendly. The décor is kind of 80’s art deco??? But it works for the space and the type of food they serve. Were were greeted immediately by Mary who seated us and got us coffee, wich was standard but good. My husband ordered the country benny and I ordered the ribeye and eggs special which came with pancakes. Our food came out very quickly and all of it was hot and tasty. I asked for my eggs over-medium and my steak medium and both were perfectly cooked! The pancakes were fluffy and tart. I think they may use buttermilk. My husband’s benny was really good too, the eggs were perfectly poached. The waitresses working this morning were so friendly and engaging! We will likely go back here tomorrow morning on our way out of town. They open early and the service was fast.

Cute, clean, fast, friendly, and tasty. This restaurant is next to a cheap hotel(I didn’t take note of the name but it’s a place I would try to avoid having to sleep at), they somewhat share a parking lot. This had me not expecting much when I walked in. I was wrong. There was excellent service, a nice high quality loose-leaf tea selection and reasonably priced, tasty food. I had the«Love» tea which was a slightly(perfectly) sweet roobios tea. My companion had the Pearlicious tea which smelled delicious and apparently was sweet too. I love tea and I would have expected this place to serve Lipton. I had a breakfast special that was $ 9.00. It included 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 crepes and a small OJ. I liked Thai restaurant so much that we drove down the next morning and had breakfast again. It was packed and there was a short wait. Sherry was our the waitress and she was nice and funny. I had the corned beef hash skillet and pancakes. I stuffed myself with the delicious skillet and didn’t have room for the cakes, but they looked fluffy and most likely delicious. I’d eat here again if I was in the neighborhood.

Phenomenal food. We came in on a Sunday for a late breakfast and the place was nearly empty. I had an omelet and the bf had a skillet. Large portion sizes(plenty of leftovers for later) and simply delicious. We are still raving about it! Service was slightly below average — very friendly but wasn’t paying attention to our needs.

«And I said what about breakfast at Tiffany’s? She said I think I remember the restaurant And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it And I said well that’s the one thing we’ve got» (insert joke about the Audrey Hepburn movie here) I told my girl that I was taking her to Tiffany’s and she got SUPER excited. It wasn’t the jewelers she had in mind, but we still enjoyed a solid breakfast nevertheless. She loved her Hawaiian omelette and the pancakes that came with it. My eggs + hash browns + toast combo was satisfactory(but really, how could anyone possibly screw that up?) Bacon was awesome, service was fast and friendly. Good location by Touhy and I-294. The only negatives were a cramped parking lot that was difficult to maneuver around and the fact that the entrance smelled like puke. Might’ve just been proximity to the dumpster and direction of wind, but still, pretty off-putting before/after a meal.

Although there wasn’t a large number of customers, you wouldn’t know it if only listening to the sounds at lunch time. Many of the tables filled with pairs or groups of men and fewer tables with a few older ladies. The diner was filled with conversation and the sounds reminiscent of a busy cafeteria. The clanging of silverware set down on tables, the clanking of glassware set atop dishes and tabletops and the best pop songs of the 80’s. The first memorable song played; «how can I forget you girl. Always something there to remind me.» It’s a diner of no major comparison. My side salad was served with dressing that probably came out of a restaurant grade tub. French was requested, I assumed it might be too sweet but rather it was bright orange with a sour flavor. For sweet, you may like to try Poppy seed. Next song up, «Shot through the heart, but your too late. You gave love a bad name.» Actually, the French dressing they served me, gave my salad a bad name. «Boring.» My codfish sandwich then arrived with fries and a side of tartar sauce. A sandwich with fries and a tiny side of Cole slaw, a bowl of decent soup, an iced tea and a side salad; came out to be somewhere around $ 16 dollars. Whoa too pricey. But service was pretty good and at least the food was filling, while maintaining a stance of, not that tasty. Last song up as I arose to pay. «867−530 naw-eee-aahhh – iinneee»

They have new ownership as of May 2014 here, and the interior is clean and been freshened up. Value is good here and you get a lot for the dollar. I had a $ 9.99 daily special, no. 1 — coffee, juice, 2 eggs, sausage, and pancakes. Wife had their Top Notch(steak) skillet for $ 10.99. I would like to have given them 4 stars, but the service was somewhat inattentive on the water and coffee. Wife’s steak also was not very fresh tasting and they mistook or misheard a poached egg order for eggs over easy with the skillet. Maybe we’ll try again sometime, but if you are in the area and a few feet away from the Touhy southbound entrance to I-294, it’s an ok place for the breakfast type menu.
