Stayed here with an American Airlines voucher after my flight was canceled. Check in process was okay. Cons: Room smelled of mildew, set heater to 68 and woke up during the night to at least 80 degrees, hot water in shower went from warm to scalding, hot water at sink took minutes to warm up, bathroom lighting very dim, carpet curling up at bathroom door, bath towels small and thin, lots of plumbing noise, walls thin, no where to eat nearby. Pros: Better than sleeping on the floor at ORD.

Worst hotel I’ve stayed to this date! Bathrooms are extreemly out dated. There was no place to put soap in the shower tub. Rooms had a smell of mold like material. The worst part was the service. I was literally disgusted by the way i was treated by the front/courtesy people. We asked for a microwave(which was already paid for & included in the fee charged) but was told VERY rudely that not every room had one. This hotel obviously did not have owner/management that had the decency to provide even an ‘ok’ stay. I was shocked to see this hotel having a 3 star rating.

I booked this room through Priceline as I have booked over 500 hotels last several years. After realizing that they gave me a king bed when I have a male business partner with me I went to the front desk and asked if they could switch us to a room with two double beds(never a problem with ANY«reputable» hotel right?). Well not at this lower than low wanna be roadside motel at best. Nick the so called«plastic» manager told me,” no problem, for $ 20 bucks more we can accomodate you.” I explained to this obvious wet behind the ears motel manager(not capable of running a hot dog stand) that this was unacceptable. I should not be charged extra for two double beds. I have never, ever been charged anywhere for 2 beds. It’s standard. I told Nick that your wasting my time and after a long day of business calls to clients and this is how your gonna do me. He smiled and said that is our policy. Well, I can tell you my policy Nick, I will never stay at a Choice Hotel property again. I then told Nick the manager of the hotel that I was upset and he had one last chance to make it right for me the guest before I resorted to writting a review of his hotel online. The manager Nick told me he didn’t care. Wow, not caring about the future reputation of the hotel you manage. What an act of stupidity!!! Don’t waste your time with a hotel that doesn’t take care of their guest. There’s much better in the area I will stay at next time.

Got put here when my flight was cancelled, top three worst hotels I’ve ever been in. Room stunk like chewbacca after he ran a marathon. Checked for bed bugs but I think they were away at the clinic, so that was ok. Nothing to eat anywhere and even delivery options were awful. It’s wise if you can avoid this place. Stay at the hilton right next to the airport, it’s worth whatever extra they charge. Got home and found a giant silverfish kind of bug that crawled out of the door key holder, super gross!

Ok, where to start… The first thing I noticed about this hotel is that it is not that close to the airport. I should have known from the shape of the van(and the harried driver) that this was going to be a less-than-ideal experience. The second thing I noticed was the smell. The lobby is ok, but the room smell was an over-perfumed, trying to cover up the normally bad odors kind of smell. I tried changing rooms, and the second one was even worse. And by the way, you cannot open the windows to let in fresh air. So, I decide not to stay. Their van is a regularly-scheduled service(every 10 and 40 of each hour). You wish to leave? Ok, no problem. The van now costs $ 12.00 to get back to the airport, or they will call me a cab. Wait, did I mention it is far from the airport? DON’T STAYHERE! Whatever you do! It’s miserable, and once you arrive, you can’t leave without paying extra and wasting a huge amount of time. It’s best avoided altogether!

I stayed here for an overnight occasion a lil while ago. It’s right by my house, so thats convienent. Its a good deal– 99 $ a night, checkout at noon, clean room, and clean bathroom, and a lil mini fridge which was a plus for keeping my water cold. they Also offfer free breakfast from 6am-9am,(I didn’t use that, since I’m not a breakfast person, but…) Overall, alot cheaper then the other ones around the rosemont area, and checkout is an hour later, then most of them so that was a plus for me as well. They have a restaraunt(tiffanys) right next to them, which they remind you about when you check in.
