I’ve been bringing Tiffany to the Groomers for about 7 months. I’m so pleased with many things about this business.
I love Dawn, she’s so pleasant and handles my 10 year with the utmost care. Tiffany ’ s coat is shinning & trimmed the way I like. Tiffany feels very comfortable there. Which is very important to me. Dawn found a sore on my girls neck… didn’t even know it was there. She cleaned her up & put Neosporin on it. Thank you, thank you Dawn for your love and compassion for our lil critter children. I give you a 10 :)

Dawn is fantastic, awesome, amazing! My dog is eleven years old and it’s seriously the best groom he’s ever had! I also loved that she praised him and said what a good boy he is. Every dog mom wants to hear that! I highly recommend Dawn at Best in Show!

I was running errands one day and had my dachshund with me and needed a nail trim bad. I just happen to see this place and pop in. The lady there was super nice and stopped a groom she was doing to trim his nails for me. While there I also got a quick education about his dry skin and his dog food. Really loved this place and will be back!

Loved this place! This will now be our regular grooming spot for our little boogers. Our two dogs were well taken care of! Their new hair due was adorable and I really appreciated that my dogs weren’t kenneled. She has little doggie gates up so dogs can roam a bit when they wait to be picked up. Was educated too on what can cause dogs to have Yeast infections especially in their ears. One of my dogs had an ear infection and she kindly told me how she was going to clean his ears up my and what I could do treat him naturally at home. Funny because they just had their annual visit at Banfield and they didn’t state any of this. No more Petsmart grooming either. Very grateful!

I highly recommend this pet salon. 2 ladies that works there «sorry I forgot their nsmes», but they are really nice and honest with their prizes, also they did a great job for our dog. I highly recommend them and I definitely will take my dog back there, plus is so close to home.

I was not happy with this dog groomer. It was so bad, I didn’t get my dog groomed there and I will not go back. My wife and I just got our dog in May & wanted to get her groomed. We have called a few times and had no return call for days. We tried one last time, and got I an appt. I was 15 – 20 minutes late, I apologized as traffic was tough. I was then reprimanded as I stood at the door, and I was informed that the groomer lives in Puyallup and I should have shown up on time. Whenever I tried to talked, I was talked over. Instead of saying that unfortunately I was too late and she just couldn’t do it… she berated me to the point I just walked out. She followed me out and apologized saying that she should not have talked to me that way. She told me she has been working all day… etc… I work too and I start at 6a and will be going back to work to finish. Since I left work to make the appointment.
I chose this groomer as it is a local business. Unfortunately, the staff/​owner need to learn customer service. I don’t want to hear about how bad your day was, I have my own issues. I’m the customer, and just want to pay for good service. Best in show missed out on getting a regular customer.

I have a German SHepherd Chow — so LOTS OF HAIR! It was his first time being groomed, and he came out a very happy, beautiful pup. His grooming looked INCREDIBLE! I couldn’t even believe it. They are super sweet and accommodating. Definitely found my go-​to groomers!

I would highly recommend Best in Show! Ask for Katherine she is an amazing groomer! She is friendly, kind and caring! I brought my Shorkie Gracie in for the first time when she was 6 months old. I was worried they wouldn’t be able to groom her because she would hardly let me brush her but when I picked her up she was groomed perfectly… she even managed to keep from cutting off her very long lashes while grooming her face perfectly! I was just in today with Gracie and she looks great and she still has her beautiful long lashes thanks to Katherine! Both my dogs Ginger & Gracie come home really soft and smelling great and wearing a cute bandana patterned for the season or holiday.

I took my bichon here one time they cut they gave him, was great probably one of the best ones he’s had. But they have very poor poor communication and never seem to answer the phone!

I’ve been coming to Best in Show for some time now and have really enjoyed it. The gals working there have treated my doggie really well and I love supporting small businesses.
Unfortunately, my last experience will force me to go elsewhere to get my three dogs groomed. I called the day before going in and was able to get all three dogs in (amazing) my appointment was at 10a. I dropped the three off at 1005a and went home. I got a call around 1250p and received a message that the dogs were done, got in the car and headed that way. Now, from 1250p-​130p, my sister received numerous calls advising that we would be charged extra for boarding our dogs as it was taking me a while to get there. I recently moved to kent east hill and was stuck in lunch traffic. I’d never met the gal that was at the shop when I came to pick the dogs up and honestly, she wasn’t pleasant at all. I tried to call the shop twice, left a message for the owner (she’s the one I usually deal with and is a gem) but never got a call back which left a bad taste in my mouth. I LOVED taking the pups into Best in Show but will unfortunately be taking our business elsewhere as this experience was pretty awful. To make matters worse, our smallest dog had a cut on both her chest and on her nose. If you can get the owner, you’re golden. If not, run.

We had taken our Pekingese-​pug and shnorkie to this place for a groom and cut. Our shnorkie was cut too short but it wasn’t too big of a deal as it would grow out rather quickly. We requested a lion cut for the Pekingese pug, which was extremely uneven and too short. I decided to let it slide and give this place another chance and simply requested for them to cut our Pekingese pug a certain way; they did a TERRIBLE job! He’s patchy everywhere and the cut is now worse than it was before. His hair was cut too short everywhere. We are considering shaving him completely because it looks so bad. This is embarrassing for our dog, and we will be returning to our old groomer in Kent. Even though it’s more pricey, it’s better than taking a risk like this. I will be giving this place a call ASAP to express how dissatisfied my family is about this cut.

We love taking our 2 pugs to Best in show. Katherine and her crew does such an amazing job at getting ALOT of their winter coat off. Yes it does take a few trips but the price and excellent work it worth going back over an over! Our pugs come home smelling good and pounds lighter from all the hair the left behind! Wouldn’t take them anywhere else!!!

I have taken my dog to a few different places over the years and I’m hoping to never go anywhere else! My dog has separation anxiety issues and screams her head off whenever I have to drop her off anywhere. She hates being away from me! Her last groomer she used to freak out and it took all the strength I had to get her to go inside. But not at Best in Show! I’m not sure what they do but they are like magic because my dog gets excited when we pull in, jumps out of the car and is fine being dropped off. She cries a little bit but is better than any other place we’ve been to! Last time I picked her up she was just hanging out perfectly happy! And they do a fantastic job grooming her! We are moving soon but only about 25 minutes away, I guarantee you I will make the drive!!!

We got Roman groomed for the first time ever at 1.5 years old. We normally groom him ourselves but thought we would treat ourselves and bring him to a groomer! I came here after a couple of people referred me and I am happy to say Roman and I will be back! I scheduled a «de-​shedding» appointment which included a bath, good brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning and (possible) anal gland cleaning for $ 65 and the session was about 2.5 hours. Much cheaper than the quote I got from Petco. Yes, I said Petco. I would definitely come here again and refer others. There are only a few cons to this place:
–They only accept CASH OR CHECK. I wish the person I spoke to over the phone had mentioned this, because it was our first visit. So I had to find a bank to get cash before picking Roman up.
–They don’t let you watch your pet being groomed, it is DROP-​OFF ONLY. I wish I knew this as well. Being that it was Roman’s first time at the groomers, I wanted to be the weirdo mom taking pictures. Okay, maybe a video too.
–When they trimmed the claws, they didn’t trim the fur surrounding the paw pads, which I always do when I trim Roman’s claws at home.
In the end, the cons were minor. The groomer was friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Roman was so soft afterwards and much of his undercoat was removed (he was shedding a lot because of the change in seasons). Similar to their business name, Roman looked like a show dog! Oh, and he didn’t smell overly strong. I had this fear that he would come out smelling like potpourri. Glad to say he didn’t, he just had a nice clean scent.

Great prices and treats your animals as if they are their own. Can’t go wrong!

We have only ever brought our puppy here and I wouldn’t consider taking her anywhere else. She looks like a show puppy by the time they are done with her and some how they manage to get her hair up in to a bow when they’re done. I think the pricing is more than reasonable though I’m not really sure. I just know I was surprised that a puppy cut and wash was only $ 20.
