Love their Chinois Chicken Salad and Butternut Squash Soup! A little pricey, but what isn’t when you have to pay Airport Rental Fee’s? :)

Came here during a layover to grab a quick bite. I ordered their goat cheese pizza which was way bigger than I expected. For $ 13 you get a pizza that can feed 2 easily. Crust on the pizza was really tough to chew and I found the whole thing to be too oily. The man taking orders was quite rude, yelling at everybody and making backhanded comments. That’s the last thing I want to deal with when I’ve been stuck in airports for 8 hours. The attached bar was great and the bartender made my friend a really good margarita.

I could see so much potential in this place. I’m guessing sticking with starches and protein dishes would’ve been better than the chicken meatball pizza I ordered. Judging from my picture of the pizza I ordered, you would imagine it was made to perfection but nope, think again. Super soggy center to middle of the slice. I was so hungry I decided to finish it. Some slices were more cooked than others but later made me feel sick. Thanks Wolfgang! Service was emotionless from the guy who took my pizza order. At least the cashier made eye contact and bid me a safe trip. That’s where the two stars goes to. Like I said, nice cozy place to dine in the B terminal at DIA but avoid the pizza. You’ll add extra stars on your review for the ones I took off.

Ordered the half rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes. At $ 15, the price is not bad, considering the high markups in the airport. The chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful. The side of mashed potatoes was delicious. I could tell the mashed potatoes was made with real potatoes. The gravy was rich and savory which really brought the dish together. It kinda felt like I was having a Thanksgiving dinner at the airport. If I ever find myself at Denver Airport, I will likely be back again!

Maybe it’s mean to give a one star review to an airport restaurant, or maybe I expect more from a restaurant with a celebrity chef’s name on it. Ordered a salad — the leaves were brown. I asked for another one and the staff person refused saying it had been made that day. Inedible.

If you have to eat at the airport, at least make the effort to have something good. And this was good. Tried the tortilla soup, chinese chicken salad, chicken sandwich with cilantro and red onions, chips and garlic fries. Everything was good, but the girl at the bar made our experience great. When we didn’t get the fries we ordered, she went to the kitchen and got us fries, even though we told her we were ok with the chips we were given instead. And she made sure our drinks were filled while we sat, then brought me extra utensils to take with me when we packed up our leftovers. While it doesn’t sound like much, the fact that she anticipated so many things really made me enjoy eating here.

Went here between flights figuring celebrity chef association made it exceptional, only to find out it’s a typical fast food airport restaurant. Goat cheese pizza I ordered was bland and dry and overcooked. Chocolate chip brownie I purchased had 1 chocolate chip and had little chocolate flavor. And finally my $ 4 fountain drink came with about a 12 oz cup, with ice yielded about 6 oz. Bill was over $ 20. Better off avoiding it.

Great place to catch a quick bite to eat. I had a chicken meatball pizza to go and it was freshly made in their oven with gourmet ingredients which cost $ 13.00. Water for deja blue cost $ 2.25.

On the second floor of the United Airlines terminal. Margherita pizza was really good and enough for two people(six slices). Tortilla soup– came with slices of avocado and goat cheese. The goat cheese gave the soup an interesting kick. I actually like it better than cheddar cheese. Garlic fries were meh.

Not all airports offer variety of good, quality food for the travelers. Finding tasty food that you actually like around the gate can be tough. You tend to go towards what you are familiar with, or looks/smells good, or look for a name that is well known. Wolfgang Puck is certainly well known in the US, and even across the world. So, when I saw that name at Denver Airport, I was relieved and excited to try what kind of food they serve. Wolfgang Puck Express features Wolfgang’s most popular dishes in a fast-casual setting with at lower prices than at their regular restaurant. They didn’t have a lot to choose from, but then again, it is airport. I got the spaghetti with meatball, which was not too bad. Read my full review of this restaurant and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

Had a stop in Denver and tried out the joint… Had the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with Fries added to substitute the Cole Slaw and Potato Salad which is a poor basic Choice of sides but you can add fries for an extra dollar which isn’t a bad deal. Sandwich was excellent loaded with Onion Rings and Great Brisket on it as well! Since I’m from Texas that’s a bold statement. Fries were pretty good could’ve toned down the salt on them but that was it. Service is great and got in and out in about an Hour!

Not bad for airport food. I had the pizza which was cooked in a wood burning oven. The area where you get your food is pretty crowded and if you’ve never been there before it can be a little confusing as to how to order. Pizza was good.

I’ve eaten here a couple times after overnight delays in Denver. They accept the United food coupons so this is always my breakfast place. It’s clean and everyone is really friendly. The first time I was there I asked one of the cooks about what was gluten free and to my pleasant surprise he was completely aware of what was safe. I always get the scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The food is above average for airport food and always more than enough to fill me up. It’s usually about 10.00 for this breakfast so, pretty reasonable. I’d definitely recommend it to someone in the airport especially if you’re allergic to gluten and having a tough time finding breakfast foods

Finding a good quality meal at an airport can be a challenge. On a layover in Denver during lunchtime, I was drawn to Wolfgang Puck Express because of the celebrity chef association. They have everything from butternut squash soup, to chicken caesar salad, to pizzas baked in a real pizza oven, to rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes. While the menu was appetizing and the service was prompt, it’s not particularly a place I’d go back to outside of the airport. I thought I couldn’t go wrong with a chicken caesar salad, but the lettuce and dressing were a little bitter for my taste. The sourdough croutons were the best part. I’d go for the pizza or the chicken instead if I’m flying through this airport again.

Everything on the menu seemed to be straight from the freezer, to the fryer, to our table. I thought Wolfgang Puck was a celebrity chef? I seriously think the quality is on the level of a high school cafeteria. Gross

A little smile goes a long way. The staff and service was impeccable. Order the goat cheese pizza; it is amazing! Beware though if you get a side salad they will charge you a full salad price. Food was high quality and fresh.

Yum, spicy Mary to start off my trip :-) We sat at the bar and enjoyed our Spicy Bloody Mary’s and a margherita pizza. Our service was fast, the pizza was hot and our drinks were ever so tasty.

For an airport it’s not bad, but outside of being a captive audience I wouldn’t give it a second look. Paper plates and plastic silverware, it just makes for a downscale feel. The food is decent enough, and service is quick… too quick for things to be individually prepared. If you’re inthe airport and considering a sit down restaurant vs food court… and choose Wolfgang Express, you’re just paying for the name. I had the chicken fingers, which were fine… she had a pizza against was ok but nothing special… and for the price it should be a little better I think.

I honestly think that anyone giving this place anything above three stars must live in airports and eat nothing but glorified fast food such as Wolfgang Puck. As I had some time to kill before my flight home from Denver I made the bad decision to grab a bite to eat here. Full service at the bar. The bartender seemed like a nice guy if a bit on the creeper level side. I pictured him as the type to drive an unmarked white van everywhere. A step above the food court fare, but nothing to write home about. Sesoned fries that came with my sandwich were hardly seasoned and devoid of flavor. The roasted turkey sandwich was a sad disappointment as it was just some cold cut type meat heated up with some sauce and melted cheese thrown on top in between lackluster bread. As I was eating this there were angels crying somewhere. I truly doubt Wolfgang Puck even knows this place exists. He would be mortified that his name is on it. Then again, as a big name celebrity chef he is probably laughing his way to the bank and rolling around on his 14 karat diamond encrusted bed with $ 100 bills stuffed into the pillow cases.

Had a stop at Denver International Airport and at 8am their time(10am where I was flying from) this place had the most appetizing food. We felt like more lunch type items. They only had their pizzas and 2 soups and some salads ready, no sandwiches. So after a lot of deliberation, we decided on the BBQ chicken pizza and a Turkey cobb salad. We requested for no onions on the pizza, so the staff kindly made a new pizza for us minus the onions(they seem to have premade their pizzas so they can be quickly thrown into the oven when ordered). The salad was also made-to-order. I mentioned trying the soup a lot but ended up not getting it, so the staff tried to sell it to me but I had made up my mind. The price of this stuff was very expensive. I believe the pizza was $ 11 and the salad was $ 16(ridiculous!). The pizza was pretty big, though, although it could have done with less BBQ sauce. The salad was fine, it had a lot of toppings like bacon, egg, peas, turkey, green onion, etc. but for $ 16, I expected that. As we finished cleaning up our table, the manager came around and asked if everything was good. This is not typical of a quick service cafeteria style food place, I think, if that makes sense. Side note: This place also has a full service bar that was even open at 8am. Interesting! Would I go again? Maybe not. It’s expensive, but I know airport food in general is expensive. I would probably try something else but I will almost never go to Denver Airport again.
