I love Mod Market in Boulder, but this airport location takes so long to prepare your food, it is ridiculous. I waited almost 20 minutes today and almost left without my food to avoid missing my plane. Bummer.

Gosh. I want to give this place five stars, I really do, but I can’t…why you ask… because of Ernestina. I’ll come back to Ernestina. I had a very long flight delay and had an opportunity to have both my lunch and dinner here — yes, the food was good enough I ate there twice. I enjoyed the basil chicken sandwich — great aioli, generous portion of chicken. I tried the green chili chicken stew(not so great — kind of bland) and the tomato basil soup(excellent, great flavor and a bit chunky). A bit pricey, but this is to be expected in an airport. Now back to Ernestina… during my second time ordering I ordered my soup and sandwich and thought that would complete my order and paid. I then discovered they had sweet potato chips(caution: read the nutrition label) and asked if she could add that on. She rolled her eyes and audibly sighed… I was genuinely curious what was so distressing to her, so I had to ask why the eye roll and sigh… she states, «It’s because I already asked if you wanted anything else.» There you have it folks — don’t ask to add a bag of chips to your order, it will ruin Ernestina’s day. Now, if you can get past and eye roll and a sigh(note: everyone else I encountered there was friendly), I definitely recommend that you give this place a try — the food is fresh, well prepared and quite flavorful!

Healthy, flavorful options. Ingredients taste fresh. Recommend the steakhouse salad with the horseradish dressing… Delicious!

Usually when you are«stuck» in an airport and enough time passes you realize that you are going to have to dig deep for the extra $$ to buy something to quiet the growling of your stomach. It is always expensive. .. and never worth anywhere near what you paid for it. Even the cheapest water is $ 4. And you HAVE to buy it, since they made you toss the one you brought with you. But as luck would have it, the gods must have been smiling down on me this day, Stuck in DIA for a few extra hours(mechanical trouble with the plane). Ok, I was happy to people watch while they«fixed» the snafu with the engine. But, I was hungry and it was growing by the minute. Mexican, burgers, pizza or beer? Then I found Mod Market. I watched as a few folks walked out with food that actually was appetizing beyond anything else I had ever seen in an airport. So, I glanced at the menu and it actually looked reasonably priced for the yummy food I saw walking out with travelers. I selected the Wintergreen salad. Outstanding! Spinach, thin sliced green apples, dates(yes, yummy fresh dates!), fingerling potatoes in rosemary, avocado, goat cheese, walnuts(my salad was missing the walnuts, but it was so good that I didn’t really miss them), and then a yummy dressing. Great, great salad! Next trip though DIA I will seek this place out and buy a salad to eat on my flight(I’ll get the walnuts too) to accompany my packet of 3 peanuts the airline so graciously will provide.

My friend got the flatiron salad and I got the steakhouse salad. Really good size and quality for the price, if you’re looking for hearty, filling and affordable.

Stopped here a few times before my flights and the food is always great — fresh salads and quick service! Favorites: +The guacamole salad? — it’s basically a bunch of things you’d see in a burrito bowl like corn, guac, black bean salsa, cheese with a red pepper vinaigrette. The best part is that they don’t skimp on toppings and the dressing comes on the side and it’s a easy box to take on the flight too! And you feel healthy getting a salad, obvi. Tips: +Tofu lovers — I am a huge tofu fan but this tofu is not a favorite. The sesame taste is pretty extreme/strong and takes over the taste of the entire bite you take. So either skip on the tofu /get another protein. –1 star because pretty pricey for a salad.

Seasonal steak salad was really good. Steak was tender, salad was fresh. I came with lots of delicious toppings. Maybe the best airport salad I’ve ever had. Of course it was fairly expensive but in this case it was worth it. Counter service was fast and efficient. It was surprisingly not busy, especially compared to McD’s next door. This was a healthier and faster option I’m glad I made.

I was at DIA for a stopover. Twas crowded, but walked past a few guys eating a really hearty, really good-lookin’ salad. OK, so, I was thinking to myself that the place where I can get that has got to be close by, so after keeping my eyes peeled, finally found it! This is what I had — «Flatiron» Mixed greens, grilled flank steak, roasted potato, roasted grape tomato, gorgonzola, and caramelized onion Though unlike their website, instead of the basalmic vinaigrette, they served it with a really good/creamy horseradish dressing, and I had them add avocado to the salad. They were busy, so wait time twas about 10 – 12 minutes or so. Steak was farely tender, and ingredients tasted fresh; to me, the horseradish dressing made the whole salad what it was, and it was good. To top things off, they have these little to-go packets of Cholula Hot Sauce, which I added to the salad, and this made it even better! On the receipt that they provide, they help you with the daily calories that you’ve just added to your diet ;-) This is by far one of the best, airport eatieries that I have personally experienced in airport fare.

I was very excited to see a Modmarket right across from my gate. I quickly became disappointed looking at their breakfast menu. Although they had a vegan symbol listed nothing was marked vegan! They had a tofu scramble and a few different oatmeals and all were just vegetarian. I ordered the tofu scramble without cheese and it was very good, but who wants cheese on their tofu scramble? I’ve never seen that before and am pretty disappointed that they made zero effort to offer a vegan breakfast option.

Food was great, especially considering that this is in an airport. Service was fantastic, and when there was a small miscommunication with my order after paying, another cashier was professional and was able to correct my order very quickly. The Steakhouse salad was very full flavored with quality ingredients, as was the Pepe pizza and my wife’s thai coconut chicken salad. We were all very happy with the food.

Rocket Egg Sandwich was super tasty, with the basil aioli, arugula, tomato & perfectly toasted ciabatta roll. Quite filling. Maybe not as fast(or as crowded) as the McDonald’s next door, but timely for really good fresh ingredients and flavors. If you have an extra few minutes, I’d recommend them for breakfast. Plenty of tables in their area.

Well-prepared healthy fare. Great salads – be sure to grab their balsamic dressing. The best I’ve had: thick and tangy + makes for great sandwich-dipping.

For airport food, you can’t beat modmarket. Was looking for something light and fast, so I decided to give it a try. Staff was friendly, food was quick, and it was really tasty/healthy compared to other airport options. Menu is limited, but I’m pretty picky and didn’t have any trouble finding something. Both the Farmers salad and Green Chicken Chili soup were good.

Service was fast and the Egg Chipotle sandwich was absolutely delicious! My wife was so-so on the fruit salad but gave the oatmeal 5⁄5. Highly recommend it for a quick breakfast.

At DIA, Mod Market sits right next to McDonalds, which makes me chuckle. My sandwich was more delicious and cost less than mcDs sausage biscuit. My breakfast sandwich(rocket Egg) was so delicious I was tempted to order another. I was fixated on how they cooked the eggs so perfectly… the white and yolk were separated and beautiful and just a little runny. The basil aioli sauce sealed the deal! Can’t wait to try another one!
