Manna From Heaven Gourmet Food Truck

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time now, so I kind of stalked them for the past month to see when and where would be a good time to actually try it!
I tried the veggie Banh Mi and the veggie Potstickers (griddle fried). The banh mi was very, very tasty — one of the best I’ve had! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and there was lots of flavor from the marinated veggies/​tofu and mayo-​type sauce. I did add some Sriracha too because everyone needs a little Sriracha in life. I also appreciated the crunchy, yet soft roll that the sandwich was served on.
The veggie potstickers (6) were good, but weird because it had meat-​like thingies in it. I think (and am hoping) it was just imitation meat. They were hot and not too oily.
Everything except the manna plate ($ 10) is $ 5. If you get three «small» plates, you get a $ 2 discount, or the third plate for $ 3. I found two plates to be more than enough for me, as the banh mi here is on the smaller side. The guy taking the orders was very nice and thorough, so service is A-​OK here.
Overall, this place serves awesome food, but at a very high cost, and I don’t meant your money, I mean your sweet, sweet time. They even note that if you’re looking for fast food, you’re at the WRONG truck. So, if you have 30 minutes to spare (if there’s a line, 15 – 20 mins. if there isn’t), then stop by and eat your heart out. Otherwise, go to another truck that’s probably pretty good for a fraction of the time you’ll spend waiting in line and for your food here.

Longest wait for 2 tiny sliders, 20 mins. The pictures on the menu outside the truck do NOT resemble the actual dishes. The food items are 2 times smaller. I tried their «Banh Mi» sandwich 6 months ago and now it appears they minimized all their portions. Instead of looking like a sandwich, it looks like an overpriced $ 5 slider. Deceiving advertisement. Never eating there again, people get more food from Costco food samples.

You can’t go wrong with the Bahn Mi sandwich! It was so crisp and fresh. A little bit of heat and so succulent. Try the honeydew coconut smoothie with Boba if you can. Boy was that refreshing!

Manna from Heaven catered our wedding and knocked it out of the park with delivering A++ service and food. Our guest are still raving about the fantastic food. They made it a night to remember and hold a special place in our hearts. We could not have asked for anything more and they provided us fantastic servers for the wedding that were extremely professional and really helped keep the night moving along flawlessly. Thanks for helping us celebrate our marriage. We love you guys!

I have dreams about this place. I love it so much that I want to go find it this very minute. It’s just wonderful, unique, and fulfills my wildest food dreams.

I stopped here for the first time today and I was so happy with the overall experience! The service was phenomenal and the food was even better. Someone in the cart asked me when the last time I dinned there was and when I told her this was my first time she told me I’d have to come back and let her know what I thought. I had the vegetable naan sandwich and the spices used kicked me in the mouth… in the best way possible. It was filling and tasty. Kind of pricey if you get a sandwich and a smoothie. The mango strawberry smoothie was pretty standard. The boba was cooked perfectly. I’m excited to try something else from this truck.

This stuff really is from heaven! I’m still reeling from how good those potstickers were. Bursting with flavor and best of all, good for you. I thought it was a tad pricey, but after trying it I can say it’s totally worth it. I can’t wait to try more!

WOW… I ordered the MANNA-​FEAST. The first bite I tried to get every item on my fork. When all the flavors hit my tongue I was instantly transported to another place and time. All ingredients were fresh and crisp, chicken was marinated well and juicy, and the pot stickers are phenomenal. A true culinary experience.

I stalk them on Facebook just so I know where they are at all times. During the summer when they are at Civic Center eats I eat there every week. I love the Manna Feast which is a huge portion of steamed rice with your choice of protein, three pot stickers and a salad which changes with what is fresh and available for the season. They rice also has crunchy peas which make it even better. During the winter when it is harder for me to get to them I have withdrawls. They will always have a long line so you can order ahead of time online and schedule a pick up time. Everything is made fresh so like the sign in their window says «If you want fast food you are at the wrong food truck!» I suggest everyone must try Manna From Heaven at least once in their life.

I recently went to a holiday party where Manna From Heaven was serving food. I got a salad with marinated grilled pork, the Boy had potstickers, and the Man had a Bahn Mi. All three were excellent. The Bahn Mi was very different than the last one we had; plenty of meat, fresh crisp bread, nice vegetables.
But my salad was beyond excellent. It was a little dark so I couldn’t really see what was going on there, but it was all kinds of super-​food greens and a generous portion of the pork, and pomegranate seeds (seasonal and delicious!!) The whole thing came together with the dressing. I WOLFED it down.
It was so good, I’m still thinking about it.

Best food truck in Denver! Consistently great food and service. Worth the wait for sure. Love when they show up on campus to serve me a banh mi or potstickers.
These people are doing what they love and it shows. If you haven’t you will be amazed!

Oh.My.Gosh. My wife and I just had good food sensory overload. The fusion of unique flavors (think marinated pork with blueberries and cranberries with a consistent undercurrent of spice) and fresh texture (crisp cucumber and fresh bean sprout) must be world class in the truck world. This place will be a happy repeat that we need to make happen. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Chicken Vietnamese tacos! Yummy! The flavor is like POW! Definitely swing by this place.

Bahn Mi with a kick! Checked out Manna From Heaven at the twice monthly Food Truck Roundup at the Regency Plaza DTC complex. It takes time, especially when there’s a crowd. The wait is worth it, however.
My pork bahn mi was served on a crusty mini batard, with the right amount of crunch. The mix of fresh veggie garnish with a kick you in the mouth sriracha sauce. Although the price is high, and the sandwich looks small, it is well worth it.

Super friendly staff and although they said it’d take upwards 10 minutes, my citrus herb chicken banh mi sandwich only took about 2 minutes. What a sandwich! Not very traditional vietnamese-​french food but still great nonetheless. I would come again although the 7.50 price tag is up there… It is a food truck though and those are known to always be expensive eats. I recommend the sandwich!
One thing I hope they improve someday is their branding and image… I always thought it was a dairy truck or something because of the white bubbly lettering on top of a blue sky photos with clouds and green grass. I think if they just hired a professional designer to make their menu less cluttered/​complicated, and organized their brand image– they’d be in good shape. Doesn’t take away from the experience though! Just didn’t have the urge to approach it until a friend of mine mentioned there was a food truck that served banh mi.

I’ve eaten from this food truck twice now. And I’m in love.
Food is so fresh and flavorful. I’m a tough customer about «Asian fusion» b/​c I love me my traditional AUTHENTIC asian eats, but i’ll eat whatever this food truck is serving.
What I’ve tried:
1) Tacos. I got the sampler. YUM. Awesome sauce. in all ways.
2) Banh mi. herb marinated chicken. SOO GOOD. Does it replace my traditional banh mi? no. Did I gobble it all up? yes.
Plus, they served the banh mi with a little tiny pumpkin muffin, which was DELICIOUSO. My friend and I shared the sandwich, so they gave us TWO!
I docked a star b/​c it’s kind of expensive. Maybe b/​c I’m comparing it to traditional Vietnamese food. THe taco sampler was $ 9 and the sandwich was $ 7.50.

Waited nearly a year and travelled 4 states to try Manna. Totally worth it. Wether you are a native of Colorado, a tourist or stopping through on business you have to take the time to try Manna.
A full family operation I will let the food speak for itself but do not be surprised if you get to spend time speaking to one of the Godfathers’ of the Denver food truck scene.
Along with great Vietnamese they have brought a sense of community back to food.
A must try/​have again and again in Denver.

Yup it’s a food truck, yup you stand and line and possibly eat your food standing up — but it’s delicious!
I always for the banh mi! Mmmm!
Some day i’ll branch out and try more… but for now, it’s my goto meal!
The staff is super friendly, always with a smile and always happy you are there!
I always love to see them at Civic Center Eats, and anywhere else they are!

I stopped by Manna at First Friday after feeling uninspired by the other options. I’m not a big sweet + savory combo fan and that seemed to be the theme for almost all of the menu items at the handful of food trucks.
It’s no secret that Manna’s bánh mì is not authentic; it states that on the menu. If I had my druthers they would serve Vietnames pork loaf (cha lua). The pork wasn’t super exciting but the other ingredients helped to balance that out. I also tend to make my pickled daikon and carrots less sweet. The mini pear was a nice touch.

I have been wanting to order what Manna From Heaven Gourmet Food Truck has to offer many moons ago. Finally managed to get hold of Manna From Heaven Gourmet Food Truck outside REI Flagship Store in Denver, Sunday October 21^st 2012. I met Robin and her son for Lunch. Time was about 12:15hrs. Manna From Heaven Gourmet Food Truck was already there, just opened for Lunch and while we were waiting for them to prep and all we choose to seat at the tables and converted white pails that Manna From Heaven Gourmet Food Truck provide for patrons…
This was the item I ordered that afternoon coz I had another prior engagement :

Since we were the first patrons in line, our food came out piping hot and fresh and no waiting time at all. Well at least like 10 minutes for our food to be ready… The service was efficient. The lady who is the owner aka Manna Chef was indeed friendly, inviting and welcoming. She struck several conversations with us.
I like the flavor of the Steak Banh Mi, coz its seasoned well and I WISH I Could Have More! Portion are reasonable for the price. All the toppings that comes with the Banh Mi was indeed fresh and the Bread comes with the Steak Banh Mi was soft to chew… I like like it alot.
From Robin’s and her son’s feedback, they like their order too. If I am not mistaken they ordered the Trio Tacos and Banh Mi. Awesome Lunch I had with Unilocal friends on a Sunday afternoon and catching up.
