Most of the Olive Garden locations are the same: same restaurant layout, same menu etc. What sets this one apart is that even though we went on a Saturday evening, the speed of the kitchen was really impressive. I don’t remember getting my food this fast at any other Olive Garden yet it wasn’t so fast you didn’t have time to finish your appetizer either. The waitress was really friendly and made sure we had everything and refilled our drinks at least 3 – 4 times throughout the meal and we didn’t have to ask for it a single time. I have not had better service at any Olive Garden and I’ve been to quite a few of them.

We had one of the greatest waiters ever tonight. Cayson is awesome. He is very polite and waited on us as if we were the only one in the place.

The service was great and the food… Consistently«Olive Gardenish». Hadn’t been here since they got the tablets! Are you kidding me? Charged my $ 2 for playing one stupid game!!! Scammers!

We’ve been here for 30+ minutes and have no salad and no appetizers. The service is very sub par from what I’m used to at an Olive Garden.

This place has great food and is always a good value but I cannot stand to dine in here. The seating area is cramped and small compared to other Olive Garden restaurants. The noise is so bad that it is difficult to enjoy a conversation. I usually just get my food to go. I would give 5 stars for food and service but 1 star for the physical restaurant. Update = I always arrive right at 11am when they unlock the door so I can get a decent table and not have to deal with the crowd because this particular Olive Garden gets very busy around lunch time. However, it is mildly frustrating that even though I am standing at the door when they unlock it, I am still asked to sit in the overflow area at the bar. Come on. I don’t get there at opening so I can get a crappy table. Perhaps they need more wait staff on duty at opening or something but it’s annoying to get put into a crappy table in the corner regardless if it’s super busy or you are the only one in the whole restaurant. Also, it is too cold in there, they need to adjust the temperature setting.

If you have kids, you’re going to end up at Olive Garden periodically. I hadn’t been to an Olive Garden in 6 – 7 years(I usually persuaded their dad to take them) but it’s Saturday night and here I am. The menu is bigger and this location is a big, nice one. The one we went to in San Antonio was pretty tired. I don’t understand why the world needs fried lasagna but in the big chains there must be a demand for frying things like cheesecake(and lasagna, apparently). It’s loud — not a bad thing especially if you have kids with you. The breadsticks were way too salty. We rubbed off the salt top and bottom and they were edible. The tea was almost too strong to drink and you have to ask for lemon. I had a Mediterranean flatbread appetizer — without cheese — as my meal and it was good. My son had fettuccine Alfredo and liked it. A server racing by hit an empty chair at our table with her serving rack so hard I am extremely glad I was not sitting in it. The whole table actually bounced but I don’t think she noticed. It was kind of exciting! There was a ten minute wait for a table and service was fine. There was a crowd outside waiting for a table by the time we left so clearly Olive Garden is still one of the most popular places in town. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Just not my cup of tea.

Hands down the best service I have ever gotten at an Olive Garden. I was served quickly and when I explained to the waiter that I was traveling, he boxed my meal up with Ice to keep it from spoiling. The food was fresh and tasted great too.

This restaurant lately has been horrible. I have had good waiters but the food has been awful. I always get the same thing«The poratabello ravioli» and it comes out super dry. I’m done with this restaurant. I have tried them out 3 times in the past 6 months and nothing has improved. It’s always the same problem even when I ask for extra sauce.

Our server Cody was the best! He was nice & attentive without being annoying & hovering. Our food tasted awesome. Towards the end of our dinner Cody mentioned he had a terrible day & waiting on us made his night a little easier. Obviously we tipped him well. Sometimes being a twenty-something means we get less than great service because servers think we can’t tip. Service was great, food was great, and restaurant was clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better dinner date with my man!

What can one say about the Olive Garden that has not already been said? It’s good. Not great, not awful. It’s good. I admire them for trying here lately though. They’ve been rotating their menu more often, trying new and different items that skew outside their norm. If you’re in the mood for what Olive Garden serves, you could do much worse.

I’ve been a longtime lover of the Olive Garden chain, but my hats off to the Denton store for their fast, friendly and attentive staff. The waiters are courteous even when the restaurant is slammed and the menu has improved greatly over the last 10 years. The wine selection is decent. Table side box service for leftovers is a classy sign of a decent restaurant. Cloth napkins and two dinner forks in your silverware-yes please! The food was perfectly coursed– and over half the diners all left at the same time, yet the dining room was expertly bussed in a matter of minutes. I sat down in a full restaurant but looked up halfway through my meal and not only was the dining room almost empty but it had been completely reset. My food was hot and my dessert was cold. It was cooked well and was fresh. My drink stayed filled and my table was properly cleaned as soon as I was done. My plate was served with the main course facing me, my check was prompt, correct and my change was right. I never once felt rushed or pestered nor did I ever need to ask for anything– it magically appeared when it needed to. Great job guys!(and my waiter too)

I actually think that OG has gotten better over the years with better variety and quality. I actually had a hard time choosing what to get where as most of the time I know what to order due to such a lacking menu. I had the four course dinner the last time I went and it was worth it. Overall, I enjoy The Olive Garden. Sure there is better out there, but here in Denton it’s one of the better choices for Italian.

I’ve always like Olive Garden’s pizza and soup/salad combo, but they’ve removed the regular pizza option from the menu. Food was ok in our recent visit on 2÷9÷15, but attention to detail seems to be slipping. My knife still had a clump of food on it and my cloth napkin had a 3″ tear in it. disappointing meal from one of my favorite places.

Had dinner at the local Olive Garden last night. Had the salad bowl and breadsticks — great and plentiful as usual. Had the grilled salmon — most excellent — with a large serving of broccoli. Steamed and very good. My friend had the soup and said it was very good. Service was generally good. Prices reasonable. For sure will be back again.

Waitress was great, they were swamped on a Sunday night. Food not so good. It costs to much to eat out and be served over cooked food

Ordinarily I love this Olive Garden. The customer service is usually really good and the food is not bad. However on this particular night, we decided to order our meal on-line rather than calling it in. First time for everything. Anyway lets just say that mistakes were made and when customer service was really needed it failed. Miserably. Now I have a very sour taste in my mouth when it comes to this particular Olive Garden. Where we were once pretty good tippers we are now going to leave our last large tip… «The customer is always right!!!»

I’m always really pleased with the wait staff and the managers here. They seem to help each other out a lot here and I’ve been brought refills by several different people, all who checked up on us along with our waitress who was very attentive. I love the food too, but for me, its the staff that brings me to this location over Lewisville.

This isn’t a «serve from the left, and collect from the right» type of restaurant. The last three times we’ve been here we have had to was an extremely long amount of time to even get water… No one ever shows up for a generous 5 minutes. It was so bad one time, the manager compensated our entire meal. Another time we were here out waiter left mid-service. Prepare yourself for college kid service.

Olive Garden isn’t my favorite Italian place, but it’s definitely decent and reasonably priced. I do love their unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks lunch! This particular location is pretty nice. It always seems clean and I’ve never had a problem with their service. Last night our waiter was fantastic. He was fast, efficient, and even joked around with us, which I appreciated. And despite the size of our party he didn’t add gratuity to our checks, which led to a significant tip from me(though I can’t speak for the rest of the group… maybe they’re tightwads). All in all, if I’m craving Italian and I’m not around one of my preferred hole-in-the-wall places, I’ll roll into this OG and grab salad, breadsticks, and the Tour of Italy. Can’t go wrong with that.

Might have been a 5 star(based on chain restaurant scale) except for a couple of missteps. The waiter was really nice, but I had to ask him 3 times for some ketchup for my son. Also, we had some leftovers to take home. Normally they will throw a couple of bread sticks in a bag for you, but not this time. In fact, I had to ask for a bag to even put the to-go container in and tossed the one leftover stick in with it. In all it was an OK lunch. I will say that the staff at this location is consistently friendly compared to other OGs I have been to.
