El Patio Del Rio

Everyone was friendly & the establishment was clean. That being said clearly the stars are for service & cleanliness. ²⁄₃ of the carne asada plate is made of bone and fat. It took so long to get a burrito together by picking apart this mess, the rest of the food was cold. My husband took the chicken out of my enchiladas to make tacos because the amount of meat he got with the carne plate was literally enough for one taco. It took approx 30 mins to get two plates and most were eating buffet, so I don’t know why it took the kitchen so long to crank out mediocre enchiladas and carne asada that looked like a burnt bat or pigeon. I did like their décor… The table sets were adorable.

This was a recommendation of a lady at Walmart. And very happy I asked. The place was clean, service was attentive and the food on the buffet was very good and tasty. We will definitely be back, on our next visit.

The service was really bad. We waited a long time for the lady to bring the check and get a to go box. My friend had to go to the front desk and ask for one. No refills on our drinks. We ordered from the menu and my plate was getting cold, I think it was becuase the waitress let it sit for while. The food was good but the service was really bad.
Oh not to mention that it is a tex-​mex restaurant but why in the world they play rock music? It does not go with the concept of a Tex-​Mex restaurant

I really dislike giving reviews but I must have to say I am very disappointed with El Patio carne Asada plate. The meat was extremely hard and I was unable to even bite it. Totally burn. I just want an improvement if I ever return.

Made a Valentine’s Day reservation. When I got there they had put candy and two roses on the table for my date with out being asked.

If you are looking for authentic Tex-​Mex food in Del Rio this is a place worth trying.
The restaurant is very clean and even has a nice patio area. The hostess greeted us with a smile and the waitress was nice and very attentive.
They have a lunch buffet on the day I went but I wanted to try something off the menu. The buffet was well stocked and all the food looked nice. For $ 9 you are bound to find something you like.
I ordered the Enchilada Suizas which comes with refried beans and Spanish rice. The enchiladas were very good and the tomatillo sauce was excellent. The refried beans were good but were a little bit dry. The rice was good but not anything special. They also offer corn or flour tortillas if you ask.
They will give you free homemade chips if you order something from the menu. The chips were excellent and the red salsa was nice and spicy.
I also had iced tea that was very good and my waitress kept my glass full.
This is a great restaurant and the customer service is very polite and attentive. Overall terrific Mexican restaurant with nice atmosphere.

Every time I passed by their parking lot has plenty cars and really wanted to try. Had Enchiladas Suizas, they are served with refried beans, rice and salad. The tomatillo sauce was quite good almost as good as in Mexico City… they were loaded with cheese, a Mexican Manchego or something very similar. Friendly service

El patio is a pretty new business in Del Rio so i decided to check it out. The interior has a very home style feeling to it. It has a number of large plasma televisions for your viewing pleasure while you eat the very tasteful entrees. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. You have a choice of either ordering from the menu or participating in its all day buffet which in my opinion is good no matter which you choose. Over all the atmosphere is great and the food is even better… good all around in my eyes.

Great Mexican buffet. Friendly service. Convenient location. Will return if in the area again.
