The service is great! I love their breakfast plates. The gentleman behind the counter always has me cracking up!

Five stars! If you request, they’ll give you whole bacon instead of chopped up bacon bits. 10⁄10

Super local and authentic Mexican food! I had a breakfast burrito and it was huge. The menu can be a little hard to understand since everything is in Spanish but it’s hard to go wrong.

Good breakfast tacos and spicy green sauce! I had the Carolina torta and the kids had tacos.:) you’ll spend $ 3.00 per taco so with drinks expect 10 per person. WAY better than the AD led and hyped Blue Oasis in town that is just really a bar with so so food. Super Friendly Locals.

Not run down. It’s a great local place with nice people. The breakfast taco was the best I’ve had in awhile. Homemade tortilla and all fresh! Oh and it’s very inexpensive!

Great food and good customer service. Little run down but not a big deal. Been here a few times and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Owner is nice and friendly and is more than happy to chat with you and make sure you’re satisfied with your meal.

I loved this place. I lived here for two years and went here all the time. Im not the best for advice about the menu because i ordered the same thing every time i went. The taquisa. Its something they made up and its great if your hungry and you love meat and have cholesterol medicine with you. get free chips and salsa. From the outside it looks like a sketchy whole in the wall place, but the service is great and staff is friendly.

The place is a little run down«hole-in-the-wall» for some, but good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service make it a great place to grab lunch.

I moved from Del Rio a year ago but I often have cravings for Chintos. My favorite place in town. I’d visit and eat this everyday if I could… without gaining 100lbs of course!

Use to be a favorite but recently the quality of food has gone down. Hubby and I decide not to go back.

Probably the worst Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Very disappointed. Food came out very fast but my machacado plate was cold, the chips I had to pay for were cold and chewy, and the tomatillo salsa was bland and very watery. Waste of my money and embarrassing for del rio. Oh and you have to pay for refills. Disgrace of a «restaurant.»

I only stopped in the drive-through for breakfast taco so I cannot say how good the food is inside. But the breakfast taco was definitely not worth the prices charged. They call them super tacos and I will say they a little bigger than most tacos but the ingredients are Bland and even the green chili sauces is purée backyard chili’s nothing special. I was expecting three tacos with two ingredients each for the $ 2.50+ price advertised but alas there is only one. It’s a burrito sized tortilla with a lot of eggs and little bacon both of which is, bleh. Better at Rudy’s.

In the past it was great but recently, as of this date, the service is moderately slow; used to have great tacos, especially breakfast variety; but now it’s very sloppy assembled and less appetizing. Too salty and feel like they try to rush me out the door to serve the next guest.

Breakfast tacos are a staple in southwest Texas, and Chinto’s does a great job with them! We had tacos from here three different days, and they were all delicious and large. I tried bacon and egg, potato and egg, and(smoked) sausage and egg and they were all delicious! The house salsas area good and hot! My father in law eats breakfast with his friends here most days, and now I see why!

Basically the best Mexican spot in DR. Food quality is getting better, prices are great, and a great local spot. I recommend the super breakfast taco and the bistek ranchero taco for lunch, but only if you like your food spicy– pay a little extra for the beans and queso that the cashier offers, it pairs well. Remember to get there early because they close around lunch time! If you go through the drive through the wait is usually a bit longer than walking in for take out.

I recently moved to town and a few locals recommended Chinto’s. The reviews were spot on, and lets just say I won’t be eating Mexican food anywhere else! This place is great. Awesome food, extremely friendly service, and good prices. Very supportive of the local Air Force population as well. If you’re not sure what to order, just ask what’s good and you won’t be disappointed!

I had a great lunch here on 7⁄19 while in Del Rio on business. The enchiladas Suizas were perfect. The rice & beans were good. The taco al pastor was one of the better ones I’ve had in a long while.

When I visited Chinto’s last Saturday, the place was bustling with endless orders coming from the drive-through, take-out, and dine-ins. With my turn at the cashier rapidly approaching and my unfamiliarity with the menu putting pressure on me to make a decision, I ultimately landed on the Mexican plate, consisting of my choice of a couple enchilada and a beef taco. I chose to indulge in a chicken enchilada for a change of pace and was glad I did — the chicken was incredibly succulent and seasoned well, which held up against the big flavor of the cheese. It was a welcome change of pace from the blandness of the pushover ground beef from some other restaurants I’ve visited. The sauce-to-cheese ratio of the enchiladas was nice, too. I was lucky enough to accidentally receive the same chicken in my taco, too. The taco was made with a red tortilla and the cheese with which it was topped was slightly melted to add to the flavor. It was different from what I’ve experienced, and in a good way. The meal also comes with beans and rice. I liked them, though they didn’t stand out very much. You have the option of having refried or ranchero bean with your meal, so I appreciate the option. With a kitschy interior(complete with a Coke bottle collection) and a more professional appearance than some other Mexican restaurants, Chinto’s is amongst the best in Del Rio, and shouldn’t be missed.
