Really good street tacos. Sometimes a long wait but just call in advance. Their beans and chips are really good too. Cash only.

Best taco place in town and it’s cheap as hell boy… but the only bad thing, is that them hoes(tacos) small. Other than that go here at least once cause you might like it or naw!

Best tacos in Del Rio! Spent two years here before discovering this gem. I am a bigger fan of the Al Pastor than the Beef though. The Tapatios are really good too.

The best tacos I’ve had so far, good service if a bit slow during crowded times. Been a few times already and it’s consistently really good.

I tried Ajillos when they were just a food truck and loved it then, so I was super excited to see that they had opened a restaurant. The menu is simple– beef or pork. If you go with a group, it might take a little bit to get your food, but compared to other restaurants in this town, the wait is next to nothing when you have a table of 10! They’re extremely nice people and they want to make sure you’re taken care of. I’ve done carry out from their new location once and it was ready the minute I got there(and I ordered 60 tacos). Only downside is that if you do call, it’ll help if you know Spanish because we spent a while trying to piece together my order. There’s a reason I frequent Ajillos once a week! Try it– you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious. I’ve have had both the bistek and the al pastor tacos. They’re cheap(if you buy 20 or more they’re just short of $ 1/ea), delicious, and come with two salsas, chopped red and white onions, cilantro, and sliced cucumbers. Best mexican food in town, period, especially if you like street tacos/TJ style.

Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews — they don’t know what they’re talking about — these are excellent Al Pastor and Bistek street tacos, no question about it. The other reviewers made the mistake of ordering Tapatio tacos, which are never that good in my opinion, as it’s just a rolled ball of grease with not much flavor. Stick with the tacos and the quesadillas. My parents and I had one order of quesadillas(3) with half Pastor and half Steak and they were awesome as was the corn tortilla and the queso fresco. Also ordered 12 tacos — 6 Pastor and 6 Steak, and both were delicious, but we somewhat favored the steak given the great flavor. They provide a tray with green salsa(best), red salsa(too hot), cilantro, red onions, white onions, sliced cucumbers and lime wedges. So that way you can specialize each taco to your liking. All this food, with three Mexican soft drinks and the total bill was $ 28 for three people and we were stuffed. Pretty unbelievable, especially as I live in NYC and I’ll spend that just on myself. May be the best place in Del Rio for pastor & steak street tacos.

I went to eat some tacos at ajillos and the tacos were extremely salty and we told the waitress and she told us she could do anything about it that she only work there and I was like go tell your manager but she didn’t even listen to us she just walk away my husband had to get up and go talk to the manager and the manager said that was their recipe, the taco’s were so salty we couldn’t even eat one taco,

We got 8 dozen of the tacos tapatios. First off two expensive and then the tacos were extremely dry, no flavor. They had very little cabbage and there must of been a shortage on the creama as they barely had any and for $ 8.00 a dozen they should of. They use the square for credit cards which is fine but she didn’t let me give my email for the receipt. A little shady feeling definitely checking my bank account for sure.

I have tacos tapatios all around town and these are my second favorites. This is a family owned restaurant with a simple menu. You don’t need a huge menu because what they offer is delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive but really their food is amazing.

Brand new restaurant owned by the same artisans who own the taco truck behind O’Reilly auto parts! The menu is pretty simple, which is nice. You can have tacos, or you can have tacos… but either way, you’re going to be happy, because they are the best in town by far. These wonderful street tacos come in either bistek or pastor and are CHEAP! They are served with all the fixings you will need on the side; salsa, cilantro, limes, cucumbers, onions, etc. Very friendly service. Clean place. Looks like we have a new favorite place to eat.
