One of the best breakfast spots in Deerfield! My family and I loved the quaint feel of the restaurant.

Sad Sad Sad. When a good person provides a good service and some mighty good will, has to close up shop, it is a sad day. Good luck to you Kevin, in whatever direction you take. You did a good job.

Definitely our number one choice for breakfast. Trying something else every time, never a disappointment. Everything is delicious. Kids love it too. Really hope they will reopen.

Kevin’s place is great. The food is delicious and staff is welcoming, very casual place. I love the Kevin’s Fav, eggs with veggies & amazing cucumber sauce which tastes similar to ranch but lighter and cucumber-y. The oatmeal pancakes are also yummy. We love coming here when we’re in the area around breakfast time.

Just awesome. Best local diner. No BS. Relax. Huge menu, fun service. Option to sit at counter and read paper quiet meal or sit in back with kids and friends.

I love this little neighborhood restaurant. Kevin is the absolutely best host. He knows everyone by name and makes sure to talk to each kid. The food is very good and affordable.

Fiancé and I came here a few weeks back and it was great! The food was good and we loved Kevin and him coming to our table and talking to us. Finding The place and especially parking Was tricky but we figured it out. We can’t wait to come back and bring our daughter. This is a must place for breakfast, just wished they were open until at least 3 – 4

Good breakfast and lunch place. The reuben’s very good. I love their counter. Unilocal details need to be updated. There is a TV above the counter.

There are only a few times that I am willing to pay $ 9.95 for a turkey sandwich, but I was hungry so this was one of those times. I also had to go with turkey because two of the other sandwiches I wanted were not available. I went with a co-worker for lunch on Saturday. The menu said that my sandwich came with a side. It was 11am on a Saturday so I decided that I wanted fries. I was told that the fryer was not on yet so I couldn’t get fries either. I asked for a side of fruit, but was told I had to get the plate for $ 4.95. The restaurant closes at 2pm every day and their fryer is not on at 11am? I just don’t get it. The breakfast is pretty good, but don’t go for lunch. Its not worth it.

We took a different route home and saw this place. Was greeted right away and sat in front so you see the cook. They had run out of juice so that part was bad since it was breakfast time. They messed up my husband order but we made the best of it. Watch out for the ketchup it’s has jalapeño in it. After we got the bill I new this place was way to expensive for breakfast.$ 32.00 for two people is a bit much.

2nd time here for lunch. Quite busy for Monday. Friendly and prompt service. Always walk out eating too much, yet still have some left on the plate. Next time I’d suggest sharing a dish and order one more side dish for 2.

I was so excited to see«Diner Food» in Deerfield, I left my bed during staycation. I was disappointed with my food. 1) me thinks they used canned mushrooms and at $ 10 for an omelette ingredients should be fresh. 2) the cheese was a top of my omelette. Who does that? That makes my omelette an egg pizza. It was gross. I wound up peeling off my cheese and eating my canned mushrooms in my eggs. I could have cooked this, and for significantly less than $ 10. It probably would have tasted about the same. The taters were tasty. I enjoyed those. All in all, the omelette I ordered was a poor value for the money and not very tasty. Take out was fast and service was friendly, so I can agree with Unilocalers there. 2.5 stars, rounding down because I only did take out.

I’ve never understood the hype about this place. I’ve been a Deerfield resident for 13 years and been here quite a few times but I’ve never really been impressed. The décor/atmosphere is sloppy, unorganized and messy. The service isn’t very professional. The food does NOT compare to nearby Egg Harbor Café or Walker Brothers. It was too greasy and not flavorful or unique. If I were you, I’d go somewhere else for this kind of food. There are plenty of other places in the area that do it much better.

Kevin’s personality and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant makes just having coffee and awesome experience. FYI, I haven’t had my food yet and I’m in love with this place!

This is an alright diner, the food is prepared quickly, the service is friendly, there’s a lot of familiar choices. With that said, there was also nothing that stood out about the diner that makes it worth a special visit either. The food is a little on the bland side but the portion sizes are pretty generous.

I did it again. I didn’t mean to, but I just couldn’t resist… Kevin, your omelette made me fall in love with you yet again. This time I went with your Fav Omelette, egg whites plus one yoke: zucchini, tomato, broccoli and monterey jack cheese served with a side of homemade cucumber dressing. And it was worth every bite. I came in determined to order lunch, and I gobbled this giant gargantuan omelette down like it was going out of style! First those crispy crunchy tasty irresistible potato slices. Then the egg and veggie goodness. I ate it in no time at all and didn’t feel like I was going to explode! Michael(I think that was his name) my server was wonderful and sweet and kept coming back to refill my iced tea. Today there was so much warmth in the room, not like the coldest day of the year on my last visit. I can’t wait to bring my kiddos here. They’ve been begging for an authentic diner experience. I know just the place!

How could you *not* like Kevin’s Place? It’s homey, adorable and filled with warmth from the staff to the delicious menu items. It’s the place that both a regular and a noob can feel at home, and it has Triple Berry Crunch French Toast. Please please please see the photo. Said FT was everything I thought it could be — flavorful dipped toast piled high with tons of berries(raspberries, blueberries, strawberries) and a hefty dollop of whipped cream. It is heaven — just be sure to pack your insulin. Everything is scratch made on a tiny flattop grill, so I really don’t think you could go wrong regardless of what you choose for your meal. Next time I want to sample delicious looking skillet or a magnanimous omelet. Kevin — your place is pretty awesome.
