I have walked by the store hundreds of times and always enjoyed their window displays. So I decided to go there for a few things I needed and the first time I came’ the woman who helped me was fantastic. Unfortunately I don’t think she’s there anymore. I’ve come back a few times bought quite a bit. The last few times I went there no one would help me. They stood around talking — I had to repeatedly ask for help to make a purchase. This last time, today, I was there… again no help and in fact the owner put her coat on, walked by me and said she would like to run an errand. I walked out. The rudest group of people I have ever seen in retail.

I found this place by chance! I was driving by and I saw the store and decided to pop in. I love the selection of beads they have. Lots of clasps and such too. All fairly priced. They have some pre-made jewelry for sale as well. They offer jewelry making classes which I want to take so bad, but my work schedule takes up a lot of time. Hopefully I can get something in eventually. When I take one I will update this The staff is so friendly, anything you have a question about they are very willing to answer and do what they can do help you. You can even request pieces to be done as well. Or restringing and such. It’s an awesome all in one place. Definitely a place I’ll stop in a lot more.

I just finished a visit to Studio Beads in Deerfield. One of the owners, Donna was VERY helpful and a pure delight. They don’t have a lot of beads but what they do have is nice and fairly priced. After visting bead stores throughout the world, it comes down to fair prices, selection and the people who work there. This store ranks pretty high on all those markers. The space is perfect for taking classes — the best I have seen. If I lived here, I would be a regular.

I’d been on a bead trek with a friend and out of the different stores we’d visited this was the most aesthetically pleasing. The many presentation tables of beads, the display cases of the beaded art and jewelry done by local artists and interior decoration overall. The room is hall like and they have a second floor used for bead parties. Parking is available at the rear, the rear entrance is as nice looking as the front. How often do you see the rear of the store looking nice enough to sit and have a cup of coffee?(See photo) Free gourmet coffee available on weekends. Bead prices were moderate and with the layout it was easy to see and find all types of the most attractive of beads. No ugly or boring kinds. While my friend was looking for beads I was at the front of the store looking over the display of ready made beaded jewelry. I thought I’d be in and out of there quickly, twenty minutes is the time it took to decide which beaded pieces I’d be purchasing, there were many good ones and the price frugal. Check their website for information on classes and parties, you can see a photo of the owners. At checkout we got to meet and talk a bit about beads with one of them, very nice lady, well spoken about beading.
