Average sushi here. waitresses were really nice though and this restaurant is very close to the Tanger Outlet deer park mall which is nice because their food is still better comparitvely to the tanger outlet food court.

This is actually the best sushi place in the area. The food was good but the rolls are so tiny which for the price is a bit expensive. The staff is friendly which is always a plus. I ordered through the beyond menu app and every time I give special instructions they follow everything precisely(never happens when I use with other sushi places). Nothing beats sushi from Manhattan or even Flushing. Will come here again if I need sushi and am not going to the city!

Back up on top for the best sushi in my area that delivers! Consistently very fresh sushi and tasty cooked dishes. Yea, after a little incident a few Vdays ago I could not stay away(am almost a weekly regular) since as mentioned they have top sushi in my area that delivers. Highly recommend — across from the Tanger Outlets!

We absolutely love this place. Their fried rice is the best I have EVER had. Whenever we order delivery, they are here within 20 minutes. Amazing service and great food.

To be fair this review is only regarding the meal I had, which is Shrimp Tempura! The establishment looked clean with a sushi bar at the far right and past a few tables. I sat at the Sushi bar since I was by myself and was in the mood for Shrimp. The service was a bit slow as they had about 5 tables that were occupied. Eventually I put in my order and received my miso soup and salad together. It took about 20! minutes after that to get my meal. The presentation was tempting and the portion was just about right. An assortment of tempura eggplant, sweet potato, broccoli and dipping sauce accompanied the shrimp. Vegetables were tasty and cooked just right! The shrimp I thought was a bit over cooked and had an inordinate amount of tempura surrounding it, making it a bit greasy after the second one. Next time will give the sushi a try!

Not a fan. Small rolls, and more on the pricier side. Some of the rolls taste a little too fishy for my liking. Also the seaweed salad. I love seaweed salad, but only certain places can pull it off. This place cannot. It tastes wayyyyy too fishy and almost spoiled. And yes I understand it is seaweed however I’ve had this salad elsewhere and it’s fantastic. Won’t try it again. I even got a side of hibachi rice and it tasted so weird. Probably won’t return unless it’s for the miso soup. That was fantastic.

Lunch specials are a great deal during the week; however for dinner I have had fresher and more inventive sushi at other places. No issues with the staff or service and the restaurant itself is a typical sushi place. Nothing bad about it, just standard sushi.

Mediocre Deer Park Japanese restaurant for sushi or hibachi. Started with a salad with a gross mayonnaise dressing with a hint of ginger than a lazy, watered down miso soup. Ordered chicken yakitori which was ok, the chicken was a tad over cooked but the sauce was good. Ordered tekka don which was way too small a portion. The tuna was fresh but they gave very thin slices of it and the rice was well seasoned but you only get a tiny amount. Prices are probably the lowest I ever seen. Service is very fast and courteous. I wouldn’t mind coming back if they gave more but the prices are low so you get what you pay for.

I decided to stop by at Mizuki since it was very close to Tanger Outlets, now on a Saturday night, there was only one waitress. I felt bad because she was working on all the tables by herself. The service was slow, but again, I can’t blame the waitress, she was doing her best. I ordered their chirashi, which was pretty mediocre, not enough sashimi nor rice.

This cute lil spot is tucked away in a now very busy shopping center on commack road. Close and conveniently located to where I live which is why i frequent here often… It’s a dimly lit, intimate spot. Sit in or take out whichever but I usually dine in with a few friends. The people that work here usually remember us and know that I’m obsessed with the hibachi sauce so they always bring me out extra. I’ve had sashimi, spring rolls, shumai, kani salad, hibachi(all kinds!), tempura, and their sushi… So basically, I’ve had the whole menu … Just like any place, sometimes it’s better than others but always good and quick! And this place … Has the best hibachi rice EVER. Get a side order of it, it’s addicting… I literally eat the entire container after submerging it in their hibachi sauce. The sushi is fresh, the place is clean, and the service is on point… Prices are reasonable… I’ll continue dining in and taking out.

Stopped by for sushi on our way to a movie at the outlets — on the plus side the service was very quick so we made it in and out on time. Food was ok… Nothing special to brag about. The reason for two stars is the ambiance. We went at 7:30 pm on a Friday and were the only ones there! It just seems dirty and awkwardly quiet. Our waitress tried to take our plates away while we were still eating and we had to stop her — just not the best experience. There are so many great sushi places on LI — this one just doesn’t compete.

Mizuki has a nice intimate feel to it between the size(smaller place) and the décor — but the food was just run of the mill for me. I had a lunch special with 3 different rolls, good but nothing great. I also got to try a few pieces of vegetable tempura which was also good but not special. Overall… I wouldn’t rush to go back but I wouldn’t say I would never go again.

I ordered take out here the other day. Food was prepared on time and pretty tasty. California rolls, Yaki Udon, Salmon Teriyaki Bento were all on point and wish I had more room in my stomach to fit all of it. The one thing I’ll say is that I think it’s a tad on the pricey side but considering it’s so close to home, I don’t mind paying a little extra for the convenience.

Wow, I am satisfied with the roll purchased here to go. The location is easy to get to, staff very friendly and welcoming, and the dining room was intimate, relaxing, and charming. I would love to try something else here if I am in the area.

I frequent this place pretty regularly, or mostly for lunch on pay days, since it’s right by my office. They offer great lunch specials at a perfect lunch special price. My favorite is the 2 roll combo which comes with a miso soup and a house salad. They have a wide variety of rolls you can get(tuna/avocado; salmon/cucumber; sweet potato roll; spicy this roll, spicy that roll, etc.) You can order by stopping in and you’ll only wait about 10 – 15 mins but during lunch time they’re pretty busy so we usually opt to order online and then pick up. If you don’t feel like going out, you can always have them deliver and they make good time! If you choose to dine in, the resturant itself is pretty small but there always seems to be room at the bar if you’re alone or with another person. I like the ambiance of the resturant also, little bit of that japanese flair. It’s been a little while since I’ve gotten lunch from here so guess what I’m eating on Friday!
