Any sandwich on the Harvest bread is excellent! Hubby loves the Archie. I love the BLT, the Reuben and the veggie sandwich. 3 generations run the restaurant and attached ice cream shop are always friendly and welcoming. This is our«go to» place when we want a quick lunch or dinner.

Now called Archie’s Eatery — this place is a MUSTSTOPIN. A family-run operation that makes lunch feel like walking through a time warp. Service is friendly and fast. The amazing sandwiches and salads are the crowning jewel of the operation — which is saying alot because the antique/ice cream/deli shop all-in-one is quite a unique experience! The vintage Schwinn bicycles parked out front are available(for free — just the fun of it!) to ride around the town-square park, across the street. Truly a destination for a trip back in time to small town living with outstanding food, friendly people and fascinating décor. We’re locals who have been eating here for 2 years, and it remains our favorite spot for lunch or dinner!

Great Atmosphere * Fun People * Delicious Food The location is excellent, next to the playground. Great place for a quick bite or to hang out for a while. We especially love seeing the old cars.

The Brown Bag Deli is part of Archie’s. It is still great burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream.

My, oh my! I just had the most ah-mazing sandwich ever! I ordered the Suit and Tie sandwich(grilled to perfection) and I was thrilled with my choice. Incredible flavor with the thick slices of mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, pesto, and turkey on locally baked fresh bread. My husband got the Reuben and my daughter got the grilled tuna. Both were excellent as well. My husband hates tomatoes(I convinced him sun-dried have a different flavor) and tentatively took a bite of mine, and agreed that it was awesome! The portions were huge and a great deal for the price. The atmosphere is old school with repurposed wood and antique fans, furniture, windows and lights galore. They also own the attached ice cream shoppe and antique store with the same fun flavor. The family that runs it is appreciative for your business and very hospitable. The deli is brand new, so I was impressed with how quickly we got our food and the exceptional quality of the ingredients. A must stop if you want a great, filling lunch in wine country!
