The food was adequate. Service was slow although the waiter was friendly he was less than attentive. The place is dated and I had forgotten about the peanuts on the floor. It was the first time in my entire restaurant experience that I encountered a restaurant with no coffee. I thought the waiter was joking. But the coffee maker was apparently broken so I settled for water with no lemon. 15 minutes later I had water with lemon. Oh well

I ate here three times in 2014. Neither of the visits brought a memorable experience. Prices seemed reasonable, but the food was just ok. Service just ok. Atmosphere was ok. I haven’t returned in 2015 and probably never will.

Seated promptly. Attentive service. Got the fried mushrooms as an appetizer, and these came out quickly and were quite tasty. Entrees were a mixed bag. My dining partner ordered the salmon, which was acceptable. I initially ordered their flatiron steak, but was informed in a few minutes that they were sold out. Switched my order to the Logan sirloin(medium), and that’s when things started going downhill. The order came out in good time, but was basically just a few degrees away from well-done. There was barely any pink left. Fortunately, the server delivering the steak asked me to cut into it, so we discovered this right away. They spirited the steak away and cooked me another one. While waiting, I got two visits from the manager and the waitress, apologizing for the problem. The new steak came out in under 10 minutes. Unfortunately it was also overdone, ranging from medium-plus to medium well. At this point, I decided to give up and eat what I had. The manager came by again, and we had another discussion. He knocked a few dollar off the bill and offered us a free dessert, which we passed on. This is not the first time I’ve had a less-than-good dining experience here. It’s now to the point where we probably won’t be back.

Every time we’ve ever been to this location the food has been delicious. The service is always stellar and I can’t say that I have a complaint.

Awful food expensive. Had ribeye it was tiny tough baked potato was old. Our server an elderly gent was quite rude and yelled about not putting peanut shells on the floor. Which i had no intention of doing anyway. Texas roadhouse is a much better choice of the two.

The food was good. We came on a Friday night at 1900 and it was not busy. My wife got the salmon and I got the spicy chicken sandwich. She said the salmon was ok. Dry but good. The chicken sandwich was on point. Good flavorful and cooked well. The service. They need to revamp the service. Get more servers teach them better. Just had to wait for drink refill and such. Overall good just not great.

Ordered T-Bone medium, and it came very well done, very dry, and was completely void of flavor. I never use steak sauce on cuts of meat, but used it on this one so I could stand to eat it. Baked potato had a «dirt» sorta taste to it. The bread was good and the water was cold. I suppose all was not lost. I will never be back.

I had a hankering for a nice cowboy ribeye this past week and thought I’d give it a shot. The menu showed delectable dishes with fantastic looking sides. What I received was a flat, stringy, chewy piece of something. My deluxe potato had obviously been sitting around for hours, if not days. It was like a burnt offering to the gods. The management was nice, the server was nice, but the rest was a big fat F. Very high prices, blah food and a tired theme. When I got home, I let out some fantastic farts.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and we were promptly seated… sat there for 10 minutes, no one came for a drink order or anything. Went to the restroom, came back and still no service. This was a Sunday night and they were not busy. On top of it all, we were seated in the bar area at a high top table… needless to say we left and went across the street to TGI Fridays.

When we arrived we had a bit of a wait while there were multiple open booths in the restaurant, so immediately we thought they had some staffing issues. While we were waiting, there were a couple people walking out complaining what a mess it was in there… Not a pleasant way to start the experience! I had the chicken fingers with a Caesar salad. The Caesar was surprisingly decent but the chicken fingers had too much breading and gristle. Two other people in my group ordered the sirloin burger melt and the way the menu described this entrée we were all under the impression that it was a burger but unfortunately it wasn’t. The best thing about this restaurant were the free rolls you received before your meal and the free peanuts. Overall, the food was less than appetizing and none of the people in my group have any desire to return.

Revisited tonight and was not happy. Ordered my steak medium rare and it came out well done. I didn’t say anything because I was the last to be served in a party of about 20. The steak, in addition to not being cooked to order, was dry and tough. My rice pilaf was crunchy which means it was either not cooked all the way or made hours previously. Sorry Logan’s, but I’m not impressed.

Chewy steaks, over-cooked vegetable sides and«TGI-Texas» atmosphere makes this a last resort. Unfortunately Dayton does not offer up too many good steakhouse options and Logan’s should be proof of that. Pay a bit more and go down to Chop House or J. Alexander’s. Pay a lot more and go to Carvers. Any of these options will satisfy your need for grilled meat.

The food was excellent as usual and the service was great. The place is always clean and the TVs are setup so you can view them anywhere. I like a very rare steak and they always cook them perfectly. My family’s food was perfect and mine just had a small little mistake. They quickly corrected the problem and I never complained. The server apologized and then the manager came over and did the same. He comp’d my meal at $ 24.99 which I did not ask for. Great food and they go way beyond ok in the service department. Logan’s is always a great pick!

The food is okay and nothing spectacular to write home about. I found that I could get better food at Texas Roadhouse or at home. It’s a nice restaurant with a great family-friendly atmosphere, but the food leaves something lacking. We had great service and received everything how it was ordered. The staff was also very helpful and the coupons they offer in the paper or online are wonderful. I still found it to be too expensive for what they offer though.

The food was okay. It’s a nice family atmosphere. We ordered medium steaks and they came out very medium rare. For a steakhouse, I would expect a properly cooked to order piece of steak. Our waiter was very tentative and friendly though. For the money and quality of food, I’m not sure we would visit regularly…

I hate to say this, but I didn’t think the food was very good at all. It definitely wasn’t worth the money. Our steaks did not have a good flavor at all. Sorry!

The food was overly greasy(I ordered salmon) and the service was alright but it took us almost 45 min to get served on a slow day. This is a basic chain and not a particularly good one. Chains I think are terribly difficult to review because they are purposely all the same. This is not an upscale chain or location. It is fairly wheelchair friendly.

i love free peanuts! i almost have to have someone take them away or ill fill up before i get my food. the service here was ok. they were a little slow. i had a loaded sweet potato which was nothing special at all. looked like a microwaved sweet potato that they threw some marshmallows and i didn’t taste the caramel. i had to ask for butter and brown sugar/cinnamon to make it delicious, so don’t get the loaded… i tried some of the grilled chicken which wasn’t too bad, but nothing to rave about. didn’t get any desert. again the service wasn’t the best, they don’t do military discount but some Logans do. probably don’t need to go back to this place
