Capriccios is pretty good. Come here a lot on lunch break. The white pie is really good. Friendly guys too that bring your pizza to you instead of leaving it at the counter like most places. It’s not the most amazing place in the world but it’s pretty good. Especially for this area where you have no choices for where you can eat.

I loved the pizza slice I got here. It was a bruschetta pizza and it didn’t have tomato sauce but instead extra virgin olive oil. It had fresh mozzarella, tomato, and parsley. I also got the pasta fagioli which I did not exactly like but it also wasn’t bad. It was lacking in salt. Will definitely be back for the pizza. It’s the best pizza I’ve had in the area. One slice is about 1⁄6 of a pizza and is around $ 3.50. Great size for the price.

Ordered as pick up, 20 minutes for it to be ready, quick enough. The employees were nice. Pizza was decent, nothing special however. I also ordered fried calamari which were about 10 dollars but the portion was quite meager and they werent that good. The jalapeño poppers were actually pretty good and were priced fairly. I can’t comment on the actual place because I obviously I didnt eat there but it looked like they were doing renovations. Id recommend the place and come back if I was in the area.

This place is really getting better with time; they’re really giving a stronger effort and it shows. Just today I called them at 9:47 to ask if they can deliver a Grandma Pie, which takes a while to cook, and they didn’t turn me away being it was close to there 10 pm closing time. And as for the Grandma Pie… AMAZING! Holy mother of God! It is too good! You can’t stop eating the focking thing! They also have a great grilled chicken ceasar salad.

Ah, what can I say? Smiles. Laughs. I think that about sums it up. Not only is the good here great, but the staff is super friendly and loves to chat! Definitely order: Grandma Pizza. Especially if you like tomatoes. My family went to Italy a few years back, and the food here reminded us of pizzerias in Rome. Specialty pastas, pizzas, calzones, you name it! Enjoy!

Easily the best Italian food outside of my grandmother’s kitchen. The owner is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food they deliver. Byob is convenient. The food is consistently good. Fresh and delicious. Always a pleasant experience. Highly recommend asking for the fried gnocchi!

This is easily the best«Italian Restaurant» I have been to over the years. It is a small but reasonable size with enough space to accommodate 40 – 50 people at one time. I have hosted parties there for organizations I belong to and the service and attention to detail has always been on point. I have been there as well for personal meals with small groups and the service and food has always been exceptional whether I am ordering sit-down entrees or just a couple slices of pizza. Consistently their food is served quickly and always hot, regardless of how many parties are in the place. The wide array of choices on the menu do not, in any way, bring down the quality and taste of the food. Because everything is made fresh, you wind up with an aroma-filled, piping hot meal that is not just delicious but satisfying. So far I am about 2⁄3 of the way through the options on the menu and I have yet to have a «bad» experience. The pizza. When I agree with Sam P. and his comment that it is comparable to NYC pizza, I refer to the joints in NYC. The crust is just crusty enough, the cheese melted just enough, the toppings heated to just the right temperature. And without the overwhelming amounts of grease(I can’t degrade oils by using their name) that many places think are needed. Within the South Brunswick area, their delivery times are very, very good. They are well aware of the time frame it takes to make the food properly and the traffic based on the location you are calling from. The time frame given is always aware of these realities and always on point. It doesn’t matter if I am thinking a quick slice for lunch or a full-on dinner event, Capriccio’s will be the go to place on this side of Route 1.

Capriccio has been around for a long time. There pizza the best around this township of South Brunswick. The rest of the menu is above average. Food is prepared very timely but with good care.

Solid place who has been around for a long time. The owner is now premises and the staff are friendly. The food portions are huge so sharing is a great option. We had the garlic cheese bread(yum), fried calamari, dinner salad, fettuccine Alfredo, stuffed rigatoni, and baked ziti Sicilian. Everything was good and plenty of leftovers.

My co-workers go here every Friday and the love it. I have been several times and it is just okay inside. The décor is typical and cliché’. The specials are pretty good. Its nothing to write home about. I am kind of an Italian Food snob, I always feel like I make better at home. We use them to cater all of our pizza parties at the office and I have to admit its pretty good pizza. I got a Capriccio Salad there at one of my visits and the salad smelled off. There was a very strange odor from it and it really turned me off. This was a one time occurrence and in about 40 orders or so of pizza and salad delivery I have never had a problem. This is a great place for lunch, just order what they are good at making: Italian-American cuisine(Lunch)

Excellent pizza. Comparable to New York City style pizza joints. Much relief compared to the Dominos and Pizza Hut that have taken over Suburbia.

This is hands down the best Italian food in all of NJ. Everything is made fresh and is so delicious. It is so much more than your average pizzeria. The pasta in garlic and oil is the best I have ever had. Please go and check it out, I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is our home cook meal away from home, its just we not Italian like Dominic and Antonio. Our favorites are the house salad with artichoke, peppers and two cheeses, veal parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, and please don’t let Dominic breakout the homemade Tiramisu«to Die for».

Wow! While most people come in for Capriccio’s pizza, strombolis or pasta take out, this restaurant is also South Brunswick’s best kept secret for a Saturday night dinner party. Our dinner group of 13 people was amazed and delighted with the delicious«multiple» course meal we had last night. Dominic and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. After a nice bruschetta, then lentil soup, then a beauful arugla, tomato and pignoli nut salad, the family style appetizers seemed endless. Mussels in white wine, roasted peppers with mozzerella and proscuitto, stuffed mushrooms with spinach and cheese, shrimp, calamari were cooked perfectly and so delicious. Then a lucious pasta course followed. Just when we couldn’t eat anymore, our entress of tilapia, veal or chicken appeared. I had the tilapia in a tasty puttanesca style sauce with big chunks of olives. Lisa, our waitress, graciously boxed up our pastas and entrees. She even put our names on each box! If that wasn’t wonderful enough, Dominic brought out a homemade Tiramasu! My friend Kathi said it best .“This is the first time we ever got our money’s worth for a good meal! ’ In addition to a great pizza take-out, I recommend Capriccio’s for your Saturday night BYOB dinner parties!

Solid pizza, good salads. They have specialty slices on weekdays, I’ve never had a bad one. Try the Buffalo Chicken slice. For a good salad try the Chicken Rollatini Salad.
