First time in this place since new owners. I was told by someone with similar tastes that I would love this pizza place. Well they’re right there pizza was delicious. Perfect crust, cheese and even the sauce was outstanding. Ordered mussels which were also delicious wish their were more, not even a dozen for an appetizer. I will definitely venture back in there to try other things but pizza is awesome in my book so far. Nice dining area with tables and booths. Plenty of pizza by the slice with many choices. Employees are wonderful and waitress was actually good. So now I have a great place to go. So if you’re in the area looking for a slice or quick lunch this is definitely the place to check out

Love love love this place! Grandma pie… not your typical. Thin crust, fresh mozzarella, olives, red roasted peppers, and sausage. We added pepperoni. Perhaps the best pizza ever!!! They are always friendly and the place is clean. What more can you ask for!?!

Great pizza but a rip off on the prices. That goes for their entrees too. I ordered $ 12 raviolis. I expected a decent meal for a $ 12 pasta dish but all I got was about 8 or 9 small chef boyardee style raviolis and was still just as hungry afterwards

My husband and I decided to eat here since it’s around the corner from our home. We ordered calamari and it was delicious! I ordered stuffed shells which were very good and my husband ordered a mozzarella and ricotta calzone which was also great! Food tasted fresh and the waitress was very nice! We have ordered pizza in the past and that is also very good!

The pizza here is Delicious! I always get two slices… a white and something different for my second choice. Crust is very crisp and the pizza is just so tasty! Only grippe is it is a bit expensive. The slices are on the bigger side and are filling, but $ 20 for 4 slices and 2 drinks(soda and a water)? I could’ve bought a whole pie for that amount. In any case… I’ll definitely back. Totally worth it.

This is soooooo good. They make everything fresh. A real find. Get an antipasto plate with whatever you order. The fresh mozzarella is crazy good.

Their pizza is not the best but I decided to give them another try and order other things on the menu. I asked about the senior discount and was told they do honor it. I sent my father to pick up the order. He asked if they included the senior discount and was told that they did. Upon checking the bill at home he realized that they did not include the senior discount and overcharged him. When he called back they refused to give him back any money. Add that to the fact that the food tasted like it was straight from the Olive Garden.

I lived in South Brunswick for how many years? How did I only find out about this place a year after moving an hour away? I was in town for work today and stopped in for a slice. I’ still dreaming of that pizza. I might even go 45 minutes out of my way tomorrow just to get a slice. Crazy? Meh. So flippin good.

This place has the absolute best slice of white pizza around and they are huge pieces too! I go here at least twice a week for lunch,

Hands down worst in south Brunswick. Delivery takes an hour, cold food arrives, missing items. Called them to let them know and was yelled at by a stressed out cook. Never again!

Central Jersey is not where you go to get pizza. NJ’s pizza kingdom is the land between I-78, I-287, and Route 4. Then you have your floppy Shore slices 3 months out of the year. So, that said, I feel compelled to review this place for those people who aren’t going to travel up that far for a pizza. Short answer: It has to be the best in this area, because it comes the closest to actual pizza of anything I’ve tasted south of the Raritan. The crust was delicious — crispy and well flavored, well proportioned. The cheese was exactly what I want to see on a pizza. The sauce is the most critical ingredient to the flavor, and that’s where Giuseppe’s falls short of NYC/North Jersey greatness — but again, so do all the other places around here. They could also add a little oregano etc. into the cheese itself, which some of my favorite places do. I’ll also throw a plug in for the fries. They come out well done — note for next time that I like mine lighter — but the flavor is amazing. Whatever they do, they do it right. I’d come back just to pick up a box of fries. Another issue is the price. You’re paying more to get something better than the«cheese on flat bread» of the other places. I felt my mushroom topping was a little stingy — not tragically bad, which I’ve experienced, but not the covering I expect to see up here(and for that price). It just tasted like cheese pizza, not mushroom pizza. Finally, the décor of this place is laughable. It has a bunch of ads on the outside — that has to be a turnoff for people. There are TVs and scrolling trivia bars — trivia dating from 1999, and referencing earwax and other unpleasant items. The tables have rusty napkin holders. The menus are bent and stained. On the other hand, the room is painted nicely, comfortable lighting, actually befitting a much nicer place. With the higher price, I’d expect the baubles to disappear so that people would get something for their money. Or lower the price, go all out, and get rid of the aura and just make the inside into a pizza parlor. I’d rather that not happen, because I think this place has been around 40 years by doing things differently than the others. If this place were up here, I’d probably be on the low side of a 3-star rating. But with context included, it’s around the 3.5 level. I always round up or down from half-stars based on food quality, so the review comes in at 4. That’s because they can easily change a few little things without tweaking the recipe. Honestly, if I were them, I wouldn’t even bother trying to get closer to authentic NYC taste. They’re doing well, they’re above the rest, they should focus their energy elsewhere. And for Pete’s sake, get some better trivia!

In the land of Italian food, this place takes the cake. Don’t read those other reviews below mine. Food was amazing, thick, crunchy crust on the pie. Side orders were delicious and cheap. Ordered 2 pieces of pizza, side of calamari, side of sautéed spinach and 2 drinks, came out to $ 25 and couldn’t even finish it all. Nicest staff in a pizza joint I’ve ever encountered. Quick service, and super friendly people. EATHERE!!!

When I went to eat here, I didn’t just want pizza, so I asked for a panini. They put my sandwich in the microwave, so that when I got it the bread looked like plastic and tasted like airplane food. I was really disappointed. I mean if i ask for a panini, shouldn’t be toasted or grilled? Make the effort and don’t just throw it in a microwave. The place wasn’t even busy, so there is no excuse. The pizza is alright, but how badly can you mess up pizza? If you want anything else, you might as well try somewhere else.

A slightly upscale version of a pizza shop. Pizza’s are the best! Fresh and flavorful Lunch and dinner offerings are good. My favorite pizza is their eggplant parm pizza~yum! Friendly staff, will substitute or chance something in a recipe. Desserts are“menza menz”, I think they are brought in. Only negative is because they are so popular… delivery takes a longer time than most.

More pizzeria disappointment in South Brunswick. At least in this part of the township, you’re closer to Fresh Ponds Road to get better pizza in Milltown & East Brunswick(Maria’s, Dusals, Vinnies, etc). Overpriced pizza, misleading coupons and lower end ingredients. I’d have to be downing a 12 pack of beer before I could eat this pizza and even then, id complain it’s too expensive.

This pizzeria is a great example of how good management can transform a business. The slices are huge, the people behind the counter are really friendly(since we go there pretty often) and all in all I just feel very comfortable coming here. The prior management SUCKED but for the past five years, this place has really transformed and turned into a nice place for quick bite. The décor is nice and restaurant is very clean. The dough itself tastes reeeally good which is a refreshing change from the cookie-cutter restaurant chains. Also, in the summer they have their own gelato which is refreshing after a hot slice of pizza. Although it *is* a tad pricey by Jersey standards, I’d rather give my money to a local pizzeria where I know the people making my food than to some random Pizza Hut where my food comes off of a truck. Bottomline: friendly service, decent pizza but a tad pricey if you’re planning to eat a lot.

It was obvious that these are the sorts of folks that have regulars and know them well. The man working the counter knew everybody who came in and asked about their families and local goings on. I had a meatball Parmesan to go. It was delicious and warm even after I got it home and unloaded the car. It was delicious though it felt like the ratio of bread to meatballs and sauce was a but off with too much bread. It was tasty overall though and if I lived nearby I’d come here again for sure.
