First time at this Jonny’s Pizza it was a good experience. Pizza was good service was OK but it’s a pizza joint not Ruth’s Chris. Good job you never disappoint

Not a lot of choices in Dawsonville, but don’t even bother going here. Service is absolutely horrible. Rude and unapologetic.

Basic pizza joint. Pizza is ok not great. Service is cool. Let’s be clear its a pizza joint not a 5 star restaurant. Garlic knots are pretty good. The thing that puts them over the top is ICECOLDBEER! If your looking for a slice and a beer this is the place to go.

Had an amazing lunch today. Staff was amazing. They even found time to play with my son. The new beer menu is great. So excited to see new local offerings. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to stop back in!

Just had a really good lunch at Johnny’s. Although they were pretty busy, the server was still quite attentive. My bruschetta, salad, pizza, and cinnamon knots(I ate too much) were all really good, and I was really impressed with the expanded beer offerings.

Pizzas are fresh. Restaurant is clean. The kids love the coin machines. They have a great menu selection. Lots of tvs. They have a new patio outside. The staff is friendly.

The following is my opinion: Driving home from Dawsonville we stopped off of 400 since we have seen this place before. The place was dirty, and way understaffed. It consisted of two cooks and a woman waitress who did everything else… slowly. This pizza would not last an hour in New York.(I would rather eat a dirty water dog) The crust is to thick, and what I could consider under cooked. The sauce is way to thick as well, more of a tomato paste. I do have my go to pizza place which is more New York style and very good, but didn’t want to drive to the center of Cumming, I should have. The one star is based solely on the taste of the three pizzas I ordered.

You would think I would learn. Today I ordered 20 hot wings for delivery. How disappointing. At best they should be rated mild. I ordered HOT wings. I wrote a review last year on a pizza that was terrible with only 5 pepperonis on a large pizza. The excuse was it was the cook’s last day and deliberately messed up the orders. I will say the manager sent over a replacement meal. Well, I don’t know what today’s excuse could be. If the wings come in different«heat» the caller should be informed. Without tip the order was almost $ 20 so $ 24 with tip.

Wildly mediocre, I’ve eaten plenty of pizza in my time and this just didn’t really impress me all that much.

We ordered a pizza for TAKEOUT, last night. We asked for it to be ready in :40 minutes and Johnny’s had our order fresh out of the oven just as we arrived. The pizza, although not exactly authentic NY style, was delicious.

Can I give this location Zero stars? Horrible in every sense of the pizza world. My wife and I have been to this location about 10 times over the last 5 years and never again. We went on Friday night as a last resort(McDonalds would have been a better choice). They had CNN blaring out of 2 tv’s(no music) and despite the fact that there were 7 people behind the counter(half of them stoned teenagers) we waited about 10 minutes for a server with only 4 other tables with people. As usual, they messed up our order and gave us the wrong pizza and only offered us $ 1.50 credit. What a joke! Since we had already waited 30 minutes for food we pulled off the wrong ingredients and tried to eat the sloppy undercooked pile of crap they gave us. This particular JP location is terrible and we won’t ever return. You’d think they would know how to cook a pizza or run a restaurant after years in neglect but nope, some things never change. Keep looking, there’s a Dominos or Little Caesars right up the road or find a grocery store and grab a frozen pizza and thank me later.

I love good pizza, unfortunetly Dawsonville is not the place for Pizza. but this is about all we got besides the big chains Domino and Little Cesars.

My dish was supposed to be a mix of vegetables and cheese, but the tomatoes permeated the dish and the cheese was scant, so all I tasted was tomato. I could not taste the other vegetables. Even the bread was pitiful. They spread some margarine on it and sprinkled some parsley, so it was tasteless – barely toasted. There is no excuse for doing such a bad job on bread. The meatballs on my wife’s spaghetti were good, but the sauce was water and tomatoes – not thick at all. Neither of us ate anything but the salad and a bite or two to taste the food. The place was packed, so maybe the waitress could be forgiven for not attending to us in good order. It took ten minutes to catch her eye – she seemed to be avoiding our attention. We will never go back.

the food here is good. as good as any pizza place is. it’s the service that is bad. not horrible, but bad. interesting, it’s only the female wait staff that’s the problem. hollering all the way across the room to each other. playing, teasing joking. it’s just annoying and not pleasant when trying to enjoy a meal. we were the only two in the restaurant for a while, place was not busy on a Friday night. our waitress was gone for literally 20 minutes at times. we had to ask the other guy for a lot of things. we were there for almost 1 ½ hours which is ridiculous. basically. service needs to be faster and more focused on the customers’ needs.

Yikes. I am a fan of Johnny’s Pizza and remembered that this location was near the outlet mall, so the husband and I decided to have a little lunch before some shopping. We should have opted for the new Varsity location down the street. What a mistake this was. First, the place generally felt dirty. This was more or less confirmed on my visit to the bathroom. Second, beware of the food. The kalamata olives in our salads had not been pitted(no mention of this on the menu or from the server) so it was a good thing I thought to warn my husband about the possibility and that we cut our olives before biting down. That would have broken a tooth for sure. Third, I wish they’d at least tried to actually make my slice of veggie look like it was freshly prepared rather than throw the toppings on a slice of cheese, not bother to add more cheese on top, and then somewhat warm up the slice before bringing it to the table. And FINALLY, the absolute worst part was when a random lady came up to our table with a basket of cookies and fudge and asked if we’d like to buy some because she was raising money for her church. AWKWARD. We were nice and didn’t immediately shut her down, but I wished we’d done so when she said it would cost $ 5. But we parted with the cash and got a small slab of fudge to take home.(BTW, it was too salty.) Either way, the manager seemed to have no problem with this random person soliciting from customers. It was completely uncomfortable and, frankly, unbelievable. Definitely will not be back.
