As much as I would like to give them a higher rating b/c of the sustainability… their sushi is gross. The fish doesn’t taste fresh nor fatty. Their«spicy mayo» just seems like discolored mayo.

Excellent sushi, my favorite in Davis. They don’t cut corners here. Fresh ingredients and high-quality fish are always used. I also like how the business is family run and they’re always nice. They should make a restaurant next.

Delicious sustainable sushi at the Co-op made by very kind people. I love getting their sushi for lunch and eating it on the patio. Sithu also helped me pick out the sushi with the lowest mercury levels since I am nursing an infant, so helpful! I have also ordered BIG platters of veggie maki for my kids birthday parties for only $ 40! The kids love them and it is a great way to get them to eat their veggies. I highly recommend this place.

I absolute LOVE their sushi, and knowing that it is made using sustainable ingredients, makes it that much better. I also like the convenience of being within the Food Co-Op because I get my sushi while shopping for groceries, and sit down in their patio to enjoy free Wi-Fi and my sushi afterwards :) I have no favorites, they are all really good. If you see rolls with salmon, try them! Their salmon has a peculiar taste(in a good way!). Lately I’ve been getting their dry soba noodle ‘Vegan Yakisoba’ bowl and I love it. Hint: sometimes in the later hours of the night(around 9:30pm), sushi is announced over the speakers to be $ 2 off!
