Tan Express

Such nice staff! I know people thinks that doesn’t matter at a tanning salon… but it does. Everytime I go in the lady who’s working is smiling, engaging and looks presentable. Place is clean also which is a plus. I can definitely say I’ve been to LA tan for years but their staff are just plain rude. Any LA tan you go to they act like your bothering them when you come in. This place is a refreshing change! Worth the $

Okay let me start off by saying i totally love this place and all the girls that work their are sweethearts and amazing sales people! I got a package and kind of stopped going and forgot to cancel so i had been paying for eight months and not going. Naturally, there were some charges so i went in to figure it out and the manager was on her way out but still stopped to help me. Not only that but she also knocked everything down to fifty dollars! So nice and understanding!
Negative: I went in to tan today (12÷19÷12) and who ever works Wednesday nights is probably the worst employee in the world. I would love to have her name but didnt get much speaking time in for that info. Upon walking in the female at the front desk was on the phone. She puts he call on hold and goes name «last name?». WELL HELLO TO YOU TOO! After locating my account she then says «do you have eye wear?» I responded yes and proceeded to look for them. She then picks the phone back up and says «its okay i beleive you bed seven.» Then continues on her conversation. I tan, get drssed, come back out and say bye. No response, still on the phone. I literally left livid bc although i feel this is a fair review, i feel like one bad seed can really ruin a a company or work place. I feel bad for the other girls working hard to create a different and unique expierience for the customers. I’m in the customer service industry and never have i ever seen such a lazy act.
I give this place four stars. Minus one for the bad seed.

I can’t believe I’m reviewing a tanning salon when I’m really against fake baking. I hate overly orange fake blondes with black eye makeup and that «I just drank a ton of beer» look. Which seems typical for a tanning salon. But, this is for those of us with ivory skin that need help before going on holiday. Or who just can’t take their über paleness anymore.
Strongest stand-​up beds I’ve ever been in. The price is kind of steep for just one use– minimum of $ 10.
The girl there immediately did the upsell thing with me and I sadly fell for it. If you do a week unlimited in the lowest bed, it’s $ 20. (rather than one time at $ 10). If you do a week unlimited in the middle bed, it’s $ 30, instead of going once for $ 15. Damn, they know how to work it. The girl totally convinced me to spend $ 30, when I really only wanted to go once. The longest you can tan is 12 minutes, and I ruined my skin for only 7. It was such a burning inferno that I barely made it 5 minutes.
Let me tell you, this is the fastest I’ve ever tanned in such a short notice. I only went 2 x in the week and I became lightly bronzed and a goddess really. I have super fair skin, and it looks like I’ve spent a day at the beach. Perfect.

I haven’t used a tanning salon for many years, but went to Mexico recently and decided to keep my tan up. I called first to get information and the employee couldn’t have been nicer, really taking her time to explain the different packages and the tanning services. Once in the store, she explained again all of my options and how to build up as well as maintain a tan. This salon has 3 levels of booths (all stand-​up). I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. I ended up purchasing a monthly package plus protection for my eyes and a protective covering for my highlighted hair. No appointments are necessary, and everything was fairly priced. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. Now I’ve decided to strive for a little more color.

I strongly recommend Tan Express! If I lived closer I would be a regular here. Tan Express only offers stand up tanning booths, which is obviously a lot cleaner than laying in a pool of sweat for twenty minutes. Also, booths give you a more even tan. They have Mystic Tan (sunless) and tons of lotions to choose from. Very nice employees. The highest booth they offer is probably the strongest bed I have ever been in EVER in my life! Give it a try for twelve minutes you will be amazed at how dark you get. Only try it if you are an advanced tanner, though.
