Everything I’ve tried is delicious! The garlic shrimp is amazing. Hawaiian maki my favorite. Fast delivery, super friendly staff.

Oh, how I love this place. I mean, I really love this place, a lot. We are regulars here and once you try it you will be, too! My husband and I always seek out the best sushi we can find around our home, our parents’ homes, and on vacation. I’m happy to report that the best sushi I’ve ever had is right down the street! I should clarify that I’m saying sushi but I’m talking about maki rolls because that’s what we usually get. This place has the freshest, most delicious, creative-without-being-ridiculous maki ever. The rolls are huge and beautifully presented but the taste is what really gets you. It’s just amazing. Our favorites are the Crazy, Lover, and Fancy maki rolls. They also have great crab rangoon and seaweed salad. If you’re looking for excellent sushi on the North Shore, look no further, you won’t be sorry!

Our meals were great! The delivery was fast and the food tasted extremely fresh. We ordered crab ragoon, boneless spare ribs, egg roll, spring roll, vegetable lo mein, sesame chicken, and chicken with broccoli. Every item we ordered was delicious!

First time here and overall great experience. The gentleman took my to go order in person, gave me a bottle of water while I waiting. Prices reasonable. Probably the best udon noodles I’ve ever had, so flavorful! Crab ragoons were awesome as well, lots of filling and very tasty. Fried rice was ok, not a lot of flavor.

Let me just preface by saying that I’m Chinese, and not born-in-America Chinese but Beijing food paradise Chinese. I don’t do Americanized«Chinese» crap. In fact, I get pretty upset if I order the food of my country and what arrives is some two pounds of white sugar in starch poured over green bell peppers and onions. Chinese people eat a plethora of vegetables(which does not include onion) and the diversification is what leads to better nutrition and ultimately, longevity. So I’d say that«Happy Garden» is a hit-or-miss. I’ve had some BANGIN’ Sichuan style basil fried tofu with actual Chinese chili peppers that don’t shy from showing you who’s boss, and doesn’t cower to assuage the bland palate. But I’ve also had straight up food court quality sadness that left me thinking, «My peoples — for the love of God, get it together and don’t dumb it down to sugary inedibility.»

No big deal. No flavor. Mushy shrimp. Make sure you get the extra soy you ordered, you’ll need it. I had to use a salt shaker for flavor.

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Shared scallion pancakes, sezchuan green beans and vegetable lo mein. Not greasy, fresh and good portions. The green beans were cooked the way they should be! Dry fried? So good! The best scallion pancakes I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely come back here.

Great take out. Always get combo plate with a side of Peking Dumpling which are to die for. Their fried rice is very different than most places but very good. Prices are also good, especially for the quality of food we get all the time. I’ve told everyone about this place. Hidden Gem!

Being new to the area, I have tried many of the Chinese restaurants in the Danvers area trying to find one that’s good; well imho this is the best around. It reminds me of the restaurants I went to back in New York(I hope that doesn’t work against them). Highly recommended.

The person behind the counter was so nice and pleasant. The food was okay, not that great. The orange chicken was soggy and wasn’t white meat. The chicken fingers and beef teriyaki were delicious as was the beef lomein. The pork fried rice was not good, it was undercooked and tasted very buttery. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Although I have tried only chicken friend rice here, I like it. The quality of the food seems really good. It’s clean and they have improved a lot on their customer service. Would definitely recommend!

BESTCHINESEAROUND! Food is so fresh and ready for pick up in $ 15 no matter how big the order! Once I found this place, it will forever be the only Chinese restaurant I will order from! So delicious. They deliver and also have great sushi! Great service! Blows all other Chinese restaurants in the area out the water!

I want to say thank you to Dave M. for posting the picture of the beef with string beans and side of white rice. That pic was motivation enough for me to try Happy Garden, and I am so happy I did! I was expecting a much bigger restaurant but they had adequate seating so it was fine. As soon as you open the door the wonderful smell of ginger, and soy sauce, and teriyaki fills your nose causing your stomach to immediately alert you to feed it. I, of course, ordered a small beef with string beans and a side of white rice. I also grabbed a cup(which was a huge bowl) of hot and sour soup. My husband ordered beef lo mein(no veggies) and a side of beef teriyaki sticks. Yes, we love red meat… no judging. Holy cow. Everything was delicious! The beef was tasty and tender in all the dishes and my string beans had the perfect amount of crunch. I will say the big winner in my dish was the ginger brown sauce. My hubs said his beef teriyaki was outstanding as well. I wish we were close enough for delivery but Happy Garden will be a regular dinner out for us. This is BYFAR the best Chinese we have found in the north shore.

My husband and I recently moved to north Beverly so we’ve been shopping around for a new go-to Chinese/sushi place. We found it. Everything on the menu is fantastic, prices are reasonable, and delivery comes quickly. The sushi is not to be missed. My husband discovered the spider man roll and is totally obsessed!

good sushi, however small portions compared to the price. I paid $ 21 and ordered 3 dishes which barely filled me up. I expected there to be left overs since I’m not a big portions person.

This place is absolutely amazing, it’s this little restaurant with about seven or eight tables, I believe the man and the woman making the food are married and the waitress is their daughter. As you would expect a staff of three with this good of food, they are a bit slow at times iv been there about 5 times in the past two weeks for lunch and only one time was my food brought out after 10 minutes. There sushi is the only thing iv tried but iv tried a lot of different types. There b52 is my all time favorite, the only thing is it’s 5 really big pieces so it’s kind of hard to get the whole flavor in one bite. The other rolls are the best iv had, and iv had some very very good sushi. I HIGHLY recommend this place for sushi. If you like very good sushi this is definitely the place to go.

Great sushi, atmosphere and prices! Only reason I didn’t give it five stars was the speed of service. Not terrible but it took her just a tad longer than normal considering there was only one other table with patrons. I would go again since the quality of the sushi was superior. However, the Tom Yum Soup was thicker than I like and missing lemongrass which for me is a main ingredient.
