Best Chinese take-out in Daly City in my humble opinion. There’s one guy who does everything out front: answers the phones, busses tables, handles the register, waits tables. He does it all. It gets a little busy and knowing he’s the only guy handling the customer service part, I don’t mind waiting. I call in my order and it’s always ready under 15 minutes. Go-to orders are the salt and pepper rock cod or pork chop, pan fried noodles, and honey walnut shrimp(but it comes with cashews lol). It’s a no-frills restaurant but the food is always on point. Food is not as greasy as some other places I’ve ordered from so that’s always a plus. They’re cash only and there’s metered parking out front or free parking on the other side of the restaurant. Solid food, decently priced. Will always come back. Except on Tuesdays, when they’re closed. Don’t make the mistake I made and have to feel those hunger pains.

Waited Seven minutes. No greeting nor acknowledgement. It was the same waiter that was there over 12 years ago. Guess what, I LEFT!

Good, just a few areas for improvement –Less salt in the food. Soy sauce is salty, no need to add more. –Please clean the tables and condiments on the table. Use wipes instead of a wet towel that has been used on multiple tables –Please mop floor throughly –Because the food has a lot of grease the walls and chairs and everything else feel sticky, please wipe down at least once a week As you can see, not really complaining about the food, just want to eat in a cleaner spot.

Let’s be honest here… This is not gourmet food at all! This is more like your starving or hung over(if that’s how you roll) and want greasy Chinese food! By the time we made it to this fine hole in the wall on the merits of the 4 star rating on Unilocal,we had to drive around to find parking! Usually that’s a good sign, right? Well, we finally make it inside and seat ourselves at the only table that seats 6… And smell cigarette smoke wafting in the air! I looked around to make sure that the 2 other tables were not smoking… I can’t be sure(as I didn’t see with my own 2 eyes) but I’m pretty sure it was coming from the back room! I know what you are thinking … Why didn’t you just leave? And I agree that would have been the logical, smart, and best thing to do! But in my defense my husband, 4 kids, and myself were Hangry!!! Know what I mean? Anyhow, in the back of my mind I kept thinking that they have a 4 star Unilocal rating! The food must be yummy!!! So, on to the food… Hot n sour soup was ok, crispy chicken was well fried so how can you go wrong?, veg chow mien was greasy as all get out!, mushu veg was good, chick fried rice meh, and sweet n sour chicken was devoured by 2 of my kids(remember the sweet part) and that was that… Then comes the bill… So we put down our card and guess what they only accept CASH… My husband had to run across the street to get money! Seriously why would you not post that on the door or window Needless to say we will not be going back starving or not!

Been coming here since I can remember. Same guys had been working the register since the early 90’s. This place has never steered me wrong. Always good food for a good price.

I love their salt and pepper pork chops! Every time my family visits from out of town I always love taking them here for the pork chops and they always want to go back for more. I’ve tried other things and they were really good too. But my fiancé and I always order the salt and pepper pork chops, extra crispy! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!

Food is great for the price in this hole-in-the-wall. It’s small with only about 10 tables. It has service that definitely could use a smile, but hey, I don’t expect much as all I care about is the food being priced properly and tasting good. Maybe I should just order take-out from now on… especially since my last time here, I shared a table with a stranger.

My go to Chinese spot in Daly City. The lemon chicken and BBQ pork fried rice are DELICIOUS! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and nothing has disappoint me. They are also really fast! I usually call in my order when I’m about 10 minutes away, and it’s literally get in and get out. This is truly a hole in the wall spot!

Delicious food, i always get the tasty(shrimp chow mein) for under 9 Bucks which is great. It is clean in there which is very important to me. The staff are very welcoming as soon as you walk in and orders normally don’t take long for takeouts. Great Place for families as well. 5STARS Well deserved. and thanks for your hard work.

Cheap decent Chinese food. Had a quick lunch stop over here before we headed for our short hike. There are metered parking lots along the road, fairly easy to get one during weekend lunch hour. The shop is very dated and simple. One area which I dropped a star was due to the smell and ambience of this place. For the price I’m not expecting posh seats but it’s never nice to walk in a restaurant that smells oily and musky. It the kind of place where you will walk out smelling like the restaurant. We ordered a BBQ pork wanton soup and a beef Chow Fun. The BBQ pork wanton soup was disappointing, the wanton tasted bland and the pork tasted odd. The soup tasted alright. The beef chow fun was good. The taste was great except that it’s extremely oily. We continued eating but really felt guilty after gobbling them down. The portions are fairly huge. They serve complimentary tea when you dine in the restaurant. For the two items we ordered, it was a total of $ 14! For the price, you can’t complain all that much. Overall, a highly affordable decent Chinese food place.

This is my go to for cheap Chinese food. It’s definitely a whole in the wall but the food is decent for cheap. It’s not the best food ever but also not the worst. I go here when I have to buy food for a bunch of people and don’t want to break the bank.

This hole-in-wall Chinese restaurant has been in its same location for as long as I can remember. I used to come here with my family and friends after my weekend bowling leagues at Serra Bowl before the bowling center closed. Every now and then, I keep coming back because no one can beat their large portions for a reasonably cheap price! The only downside is that they only accept cash. My favorite dishes to get here are(all over rice): — fillet of cod with black bean sauce — fillet of cod with cream-styled corn — tender greens with beef stew — scrambled egg with shrimp The service is fast too!

This is the best Chinese Restaurant in California. It can compete and beat any Chinese Restaurants side by side as far Taste, Service and Price. If you are interested in décor and atmosphere get a life. «It’s cash only» «Al H» wrote a stupid review, I have been coming here for 15-yrs, dirty dishes are dirty dishes. They don’t serve dirty food from dirty dishes, you are a complete idiot and a moron.

I would like to preface this updated review by saying that I am in no way an elitist eater. As proof, I have eaten back-to-back meals at Applebee’s, one of which was a breakfast(even though they do not have a breakfast menu). Before meeting my wife, I ate fast food twice a day on average… and not the good fast foods such as KFC. My digestive system is routinely forced to break down substances that would disrupt most septic systems. That said, I must award Suily’s Café with the distinction of the worst take-out I have ever had. Other reviewers have mentioned the no-frills aspect of the restaurant. I assumed they were referring to the lack of décor, but I did not expect to peek into the filthy kitchen and see a bowl of rice noodles on the floor… and by on the floor, the ends of the rice noodles were TOUCHINGTHEFLOOR. I should have left immediately, but I proceeded to trust the legions of 4 and 5-star reviews. I ordered their fried salt-and-pepper cod, mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, and the unbelievably named House Special Chow Mein. I unfortunately ate a distressing amount of the fried cod before finding that they were half-cooked. I actually refried them to cook them through and kept eating, for those of you still thinking I am a high-minded foodie. The mongolian beef was the best of the things I ordered, but that didn’t stop me from throwing half of it in the garbage, and then taking the garbage out to the dumpster so it wouldn’t spread anything bad to my infant son. The shrimp fried rice contained the smallest shrimp I have ever seen or heard of – I would not be surprised to learn they were actually krill. And the piece de resistance was the House Special Chow Mein, which was the one dish I didn’t have the courage to try. If this is their House Special, I dread to think what their throwaway dish could be. Limp noodles, combined with indistinguishable lumps of meat amid what my wife assured me was cabbage, made for a horrifying mass of tissue that would not be out of place in a medical journal. The portions were indeed excellent… you get a lot of bang for your buck. Unfortunately, the«bang» also describes the sound of your bowels releasing later in the evening. The 5 star reviewers must either be employees or relatives of the owners. Trish M., the reviewer that has been apparently«coming to this place for over 20 years», should probably review her health and life insurance policies… someone in her family’s gonna cash in soon.

My local go to chinese food. Always have to order the Salt n Pepper Porkchops. Light and crispy and seasoned very well. The waiter/s works his butt off and is always on point. I’m amazed at how he juggles all those phone-in orders and tables at the same time and never has messed up my food *knock on wood*. Food is very affordable and served unbelievably fast. Not to mention, always consistent. Solid chowmein, killer sweet n sour pork, and their riceplates hit the spot and not your wallet. Check out Suily’s for some quick/cheap/tasty grub. Don’t expect highend/overpriced and you’ll definitely be satisfied.

I recommend this play because their lunch orders are priced at a good and reasonable price! The only downfall is that they don’t accept card — cash only

I’ve eaten here 2 times so I must like it. Friendly efficient service and decent prices. Ordered: chowmein, pork fried rice, lemon chicken, pot-stickers, honey walnut prawns. chowmein decent. Pork fried rice was burnt, I thought I didn’t like the fried rice before but ordered again, will not order again since twice burnt fried rice. Lemon chicken was excellent. Pot Stickers were yummy. Honey walnut prawns, my fave Chinese dish was decent, the sauce was done perfect and prawns not too breaded, most places get it wrong. It has one flaw they served with cashews instead of walnuts! All in all decent Chinese food that is not greasy. Will surely be stopping by again when in mood for Chinese and try more of menu.

Suily’s Café is your token Chinese restaurant. There are plenty in this area but Suily’s is the one. Reason Being: super cheap, but not dirty and as nitty gritty as others. Only Cons: they don’t deliver and they’re cash only… But trust that if you’re in Daly City, you wouldn’t mind making a small trip to just pick your food up if you’re ordering from here. You get your money’s worth and the quality is much better than other Chinese restaurants, so stop being lazy lol. Anyways, for yesterday’s order we got the following Salt and Pepper Pork Chops: always a chosen dish when ordering Chinese food. Msg all day but what else do you expect ordering something like this lol. These particular ones aren’t super oily and they give a fair amount of pork instead of just pieces of battered fat like most restaurants. Egg Fried Rice: your basic fried rice nothing super special but we like to order this because it just gives a nice balance to our meat dishes instead of having fried rice with additional meat. Potstickers: basic potstickers nothing special about them but you can’t really go wrong. Beef Pan Fried Noodles: real good and great portions. The bokchoi-noodle-meat ratio was perfect. *Not pictured but a really good dish: Sweet and Sour Rock Cod! Battered fish smothered in sweet and sour sauce but still keeps a nice crispy edge with a soft middle. Yum! Get this!
