Bad service, staff are rude! The food portion is getting smaller and smaller! There are many better Vietnamese food around. I would not recommended!

Was just there with my parents… we have coming to Kevin’s(this location) for years… NEVER again! They have changed owners and the portions are much smaller and meats and noodles have shrank! 3 of us and we asked for an extra plate of basil/cilantro/bean sprout condiment for the soup… and they now want to charge us for an extra $ 1.25 per plate. If I was there alone… i would have my own plate of condiments. When you start nickel and dimeming your customers we will not be coming back. They now cheap out on the broth as well so it is not as tasty as before. There are so many vietnamese phở place around… these new owners are short sighted and they will lose their business! regulars… Check it out for yourself. you will know what i am talking about! I have told my extended family and friends who used to go there and now they are not going as well!

This is my go to phở spot since iv moved to SF. Its convenient and its close to my place. Price is decent and they give you a good portion. I like their broth, its nice and flavorful, unlike other phở places, their broth tasted plain and watered down. This place is always packed, every time i go theres always people waiting. I usually order togo. I don’t know how the service is here since iv never dined in, but it seems alright, a lot of workers. maybe next time ill dine in with my aunt.

Phở, rice plate, Vietamese Coffee, this is all you need to start your day or end it. Parking is tough but price is nice Small group is best but big groups are okay as well. Keep it quick and you’ll be fine Service is fast and you’ll be done in no time

I’m gonna round up from 3.5 stars rather than rounding down cuz I plan to return every now and then for a good bowl of phở. Kevin’s is your average phở place but the bar is set pretty high with Ben Tre and all of the other phở places that have popped up in recent years. Their bowls are smaller though and the broth taste a bit cleaner with no signature taste. But again, I’ve giving Kevin’s 4 stars mostly because I see myself being a regular and I don’t want anything to end up in my soup lol. 3 stars for the strawberry drink. It’s nice that they use real frozen strawberries to make the smoothie. However, it was basically just that. Just pureed frozen strawberries. Not a big fan.

I like Kevin’s noodle house. It reminds me of home. Customer service isn’t the best but I come here for the food. Servers quickly ask what you would like to order because most of their customers are regulars. The fresh rice rolls with peanut sauce is delicious. Thai iced tea is the best I’ve ever had honestly, but not too fond of the boba. Tastes rubbery to me. I like my phở with thick wide noodles. The same noodles that you would get with chow fun/pad see ew. The pork chops are… A must try if you aren’t in a soupy mood.

The phở here is delicious and flavorful. For it’s price, you get a good portion with a lot of meat. The service needs improvement though. I didn’t feel welcomed enough when i ordered to-go, but that’s just my preference.

Broth is good. Noodles were perfect. If I could write a poem I would. Offer different sizes of phở. Have the meat combo I like(rare beef and tripe) Quick service. Love it like Tubbs loves Ritzy bits.

1. Cheap 2. Good and 3. Fast service This is definitely my go to phở. I always get the #9 only because I don’t like tripe and it’s the only soup that doesn’t have it. If I’m feeling like eating rice I usually get #41 because it’s a combination of everything. Both are very delicious. It does the job and does my belly good.

I come here because I like the food and a return because I hope the service is better than last time. It’s good quality viet food. There are numerous staff walking the floor, yet only one person has the ability to take orders since they’ve gone electronic. A NORMAL trip for me here is I get seated(doesn’t matter if it’s two in my party or 10), and I get seated fairly quickly, then I decide what I want. Then I wait. And wait. And wait. I watch others coming in after my party and me and get seated. Then I see those same people getting their orders taken while I’m waiting asking to get my order taken. Then I see the man who has the ordering powers bus tables. While I sit there like what is going on?! This is usually 10 – 15 minutes after I sit down. However, the food comes out quickly and hot. That’s why I return. Please invest in more iPads so more people can take orders.

Waiters and waitresses are super nice and attentive. Too bad the food here is TOOSALTY. Whatever you order, it comes out fast EXCEPT for their Com Suong(Broken Rice) dishes. That takes about 10 minutes being minimum. I think that’s the only dish that is overly overly salty. They give you PLENTY of meat and side dishes(whatever combo You ordered), and a good amount of rice. I would come back if I had to, but if there was a different spot up here in SF I would just give them a try. Other then that, this spot is good but just too salty for me.

My family & I get their phở at least once a week. Out of all the phở places in the area, Kevin’s phở is the best! However, the Kevin’s in westlake is better than the one in skyline plaza. When I eat at the one in the skyline plaza, it doesn’t taste the same & the noodles are sometimes not cooked well. I always order the phở #2 small which has all the meat. It’s delicious! Also try their Thai iced tea! I order mine without boba because their boba is not that great. Their service is excellent. The old man with glasses is very friendly & has great energy! :)

I think my review keep on disappearing, but i don’t know why. I have well over 50 check ins here so it’s not like i’m not a returning customer. There’s a few things that i usually get here when i come. I get the Chicken phở # 22A or the vermicelli with grilled beef and an egg roll #52A. For appetizers, I get the fried egg rolls or the Fresh Spring rolls. Honestly, this place is pretty good. I love the soup for the Chicken Phở, it’s clear and it’s always perfect when you are sick. The Vermicelli with grilled beef is perfect on a hot summer day.(yes it does get hot in Daly City from time to time). This dish is served warm, so you won’t have any trouble eating it. For drinks I’ve had the Vietnamese coffee here. It will slowly drip and it’s worth the wait. If you are a coffee lover, you have to get this when you dine in. The salted plum drink is very authentic and good for you if you have a sour throat. The red bean drink here is really good, because they blend it well enough where you don’t have to use a spoon to eat it. The Durian drink is made well too, and if you are a durian lover you have to get this. My most favorite drink is the Avocado drink. It’s sweet and smooth. I can drink this everyday Although i’ve been here a lot, i feel the service can be better. At least give me a smile when i order will y’all please!

Meh in every sense of the word. I remember it being better a few years ago but based on our most recent experience, would only come here if I was in the area and desperate for Vietnamese food or a quick dinner.

Got my food after 45 min. People seated after me already left because they’ve already eaten and received their food. BADSERVICE!!! I’ve come here before and it’s been a miss or hit on the food and the wait. But it’s a Monday night and it’s dinner time, but that’s no excuse to bring out food late. When I asked after 30mins of waiting, «where’s my food?», suddenly none of them speaks English. Rude.

I’ve been here twice for dinner on weekend nights around 7−8pm, once on a Saturday night and another on a Friday night. Both times I’ve had to wait for a table(fortunately not long… about 10 – 15 min for a table for 2). The people who work here are very nice but may not speak too much English, but they’ll try their best to get you what you need. My experiences were that the younger gals who worked there had fluent English and got me what I needed. Service is what you would expect in tour typical Vietnamese restaurant– basically little to no service(e.g. you order what you want, you get your food, and that’s it). Of note, parking is convenient and ample as the restaurant shares a large lot with other businesses. I ordered phở tai(rare steak, small size) both times I came here and the quality of the tai was great the first time with a perfect balance/blend of cooked and rare and with just the right amount of meat. The second time I had phở tai, which was a few days ago, the tai meat was about 90% cooked, leaving the tai to have a pretty tough texture. Also, they kind of skimped on the meat the second time I ordered phở tai(maybe that was for good reason since I really wasn’t digging the meat’s texture). In terms of broth, it’s pretty flavorful here. You won’t be disappointed with the broth. Also, if you want your bean sprouts cooked, you can ask them to boil them for you– that way they won’t have such a raw taste to them. Overall I had conflicting phở experiences here – one good one and one bad one. While the broth was good, the meat quality and portions were conflicting. Three stars!

Rude staff, mediocre food, sucky parking. If you were in the area then whatever just eat it, if you had a choice please think about going somewhere else. Sunset location is better.

I always ask myself why I keep coming back here but then after you do so many times you kinda figure out that: a) there’s nothing else in Daly City to eat that convenient, cheap, fast, and relatively healthy b) the staff and their no nonsense, to the point service kinda grows on you c) the staff starts remembering your order because you go so many times a week out of laziness — this has somehow become your go to spot d) they do make a pretty good watermelon shake and thai iced tea That being said, the phở isn’t the best you’ll have but not the worse either. I think the broth and the brisket are delicious but the noodles have a weird slightly slimy/playdoh like texture — I can’t put my finger on it but it’s odd. I would skip the fresh rolls — the wrapper is super chewy and thick. The pork chop however is delicious — totally recommend the pork chop rice dish. It’s one of the only phở places around the area so location wise it’s convenient. Also open pretty late on weekends.

I used to come here when I lived in DC, but now I’m back in Sac, I only come here when my folks wanna go. This place is usually packed! It’s cheap, decent tasting food. It’s not the best, but it’s okay. Usually the wait time is close to 45 minutes, but surprisingly they seated us right away on my recent visit. It was still packed, but we came at a right time. It’s usually cold in DC, so that may be also why people come here. I got the chicken vermicelli with egg rolls. If I get vermicelli, I expect it to come with egg rolls, so yay! The vermicelli was good. It wasn’t the BEST, but it’s satisfying. The sauce was a bit on the salty side. None of the vermicelli sauces I’ve had were this salty! Whatever. On the other hand, the egg rolls were good! Crispy and so much flavor! If I could order like 50 of those, I’m set! Because of the drought, if you don’t ask for water, they won’t give it to you. I understand, but it just sucks. Wish we had more water. Overall, this place is good enough for me. Nothing too exciting. Service was okay. What can you expect from a business that’s run by old Asian folks? I’ve never been to an Asian restaurant where they were even at average in their customer service. Whatevs. I’m used to it. I suggest coming here early so you’re not waiting in the cold for an hour or so.

Ma cantine viet par excellence! Service ultra rapide: 3 min montre en main entre l’entrée dans le resto et l’arrivée du bol de phô devant toi. A eviter le week end car ultra bondé.
