I think this was the first time General Tso’s made me genuinely sad. I just finished watching a documentary about the dish on Netflix and obviously started craving some. So I headed to Wok In and Go because I couldn’t resist the punny name and ordered some Tso’s and crab ragoon. The food was super bland, the chicken tho being freshly made was somehow already soggy. The crab ragoon looked nice and full but when I bit into it there seemed to only be uncooked wonton inside. I threw out my food after eating a couple bites:/ I don’t think I’ll be going back but I hope this was an off day for them because the lady behind the counter was really sweet.

It was a dark and rainy day when I decided to try this place out on my way home from work. Since I don’t like a lot of deep fried/sweet Chinese dishes, which was a lot of the menu, I ended up ordering mix vegetables and beef. The owner was there and was incredibly friendly and asked the cooks in the back several times to make it extra spicy as requested. The cooks assured him that it was indeed spicy. Although I was the only customer there, he seemed to have a lot of pride in his little shop and checked on my food several times. While the customer service was better than most take out Chinese restaurants, I was extremely disappointed in the meal itself. There was no seasoning. The vegetables and beef desparately needed salt or any kind of flavor. The beef, although tender, wasn’t really cut into bite size pieces; it was like eating long pieces of fajita meat. It was the first time that I actually used the soy sauce packet that came with the meal on my food to add some saltiness.

I ordered delivery and it took an hour after they said it would take 30 minutes. When I called to check on it he said«Oh, your delivery is gone he already picked up and left. Ok. Thank you. Bye.» and hung up. Not the best customer service or grateful for business. The times I have been here, the interior really needs to be updated, it’s kind of gross and sticky feeling inside, feels unkempt. The food is just barely ok, however. So if you can deal with the poor customer service and bad atmosphere(if you eat in) and slow service(if you get delivery) at least the food is marginal :).

I won’t say we drove all the way from Kansas to eat here, but while staying in Dallas and looking for a quick supper in an area we didn’t really know, we found this place almost accidentally — I mean, you have to actually look carefully to find it, tucked in a corner of a non-descript corner mini-mall. Staff was friendly, menu had a nice selection of all the take-out regulars, so we all tried something different. A short wait later, we were presented(one plate at a time) our orders, and all of them were better-than-expected given the humble surroundings. Each entrée came hot-from-the-wok with a huge side of fried rice, and since one of us ordered chicken fried rice as a entrée, we were all riced-out when we rolled out. Overall, just a nice, uneventful Chinese food experience in a unfamiliar place. Don’t let the outside fool you, good«take-out» Chinese is inside.

I glanced at this place many times and finally after craving some Chinese food all day I stopped by after work. The front lady is nice and took my order quick, the menu is varied the amount of food you get for the price is reasonable. It tasted okay, not authentic Chinese as is cooked by Mexicans. I recommend chicken fried rice and fried wonton. Will come back when I crave some more.

Stopped in to order some take out. The counter was run by 1 person taking orders both on the phone and also running the counter. They had to stop a couple of times to answer the phone. Because of this they threw in some egg rolls at no charge. The food tasted good for the price. Not the best, but I have had worse.

Wok in and out is good for a quick dinner at reasonable prices. It’s not authentic tasting but they don’t overcook their veggies and my kids eat healthy broccoli and tofu. Very nice staff and family-owned. Overall, they’re not great if you want super authentic Chinese, but good if you want veggies and tofu. Also, good hot and sour soup.

Owner was polite and gave money back. Sad to say it’s the worst Chinese food I have ever had
