Although being warm and kind goes a long way, you can’t slack on other crucial areas of service. After placing my food/drink order, bartender never came with my water or checked on me, as he was more concerned with closing his bar an hour before close. Waited a ridiculous amount of time just to pay. Salad was — OK. Recommend they step it up a notch. Being in a hotel, attracting clients is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Great service and so far liked everything I’ve had except the Capellini Pasta which is a heavy olive oil and pesto dish. For some strange reason the broccoli in the pasta was so bitter I spit it out. The custom built burger with Chester and a fried egg was super good. I was so stuffed! Breakfast is excellent though missing an omelet chef. Still a good variety.

Never again. So, so, so very LOUD. I should really type this review in all caps. I went down to get out of my room, had to switch my order to-go. Waiting for that order was pure hell. SOLOUD! The food wasn’t great either. The flatbread was super soggy and for my short trip up the elevator… it was cold to lukewarm. Gross. Avoid, if you can.

I was at the hotel for a seminar; I’m local so I hadn’t dined there previously, however, I sure will in the future! We had only an hour for lunch during the break and our seminar conductor said, «let’s drive somewhere» and I said, «nope, we don’t have time». We wandered into the restaurant, and they weren’t expecting 26 folks for lunch on a Saturday all at once. But they rocked it! Service was first rate: I believe Manuel was our champ, he may have been the manager, considering his jacket and tie dress, and he was an angel. The food was not your typical hotel fare; it was innovative and fresh and delicious. The tomato basil soup was thick yet light, and brimming with flavor. The mushroom flatbread, the ribeye french dip and the salads were to die for. Everyone in our party was so impressed and pleased that I will be back for lunch again and again, even though I live here. Whoever heard of a hotel as a destination restaurant? I sure have, now! Cheers to Manuel and his team. Yummy fare, def go there!

If for nothing else, go and try the Mudslide. Yes, I enjoyed it, and could go back for it. It’s a chocolate milkshake infused with the sweetness of adulthood. As for the food 50⁄50. We tried 3 different dishes including fish tacos, steak, salmon and a few appetizers and sides. Some were hits, the other misses. I do have to say that my steak was great. Our table service was not up to par. However, we did witness other servers provide excellent service. A Groupon makes going to this place great! Make sure to check it for deals.

The food and drinks were amazing. I ordered the old fashioned off of their drink menu and it was great. We had the calamari to start and then both ordered the(build your own) burgers. I had mine with pepperjack cheese, a fried egg, bacon, and regular fries. I couldn’t find many reviews or check-ins for this place, but am glad that we decided to go there. It’s inside the Sheraton, so I assume that most people do not know about it or walk by that area often enough to stop in. The only(small) problem was with the service. It was very slow and it took a long time for us to get our drinks and for the server to return to the table. Otherwise, loved it.

Though I haven’t been back to Front Yard yet, I realized I never updated after my trip. I still have dreams about their Shrimp & Chorizo flatbread. We ended up coming here three times during our four day trip. Being inside the Sheraton hotel, I’m sure that most of the business here is from hotel guests but believe me they are lucky. That flatbread was simply perfection. Crisp flatbread loaded with ground chorizo and grilled shrimp, topped with creamy ricotta to balance it out.(Activate salivary glands!) They also make a wicked drink here called a Tipsy Shake. Think mudslide but more milkshake. Thick, vanilla shake with Kahlua and chocolate sauce. This and the flatbread made for an awesome pre-game snack before we headed out for the night. I really need an excuse to get back to Dallas now.

This was pretty perfect. We were hungry for lunch and only had thirty minutes to eat before heading to meet some family for important matters. And, we knew we wouldn’t get to eat again until late evening. The staff was so helpful. They told us which items on the menu can be made quickly, and which were popular items. We walked away within 30 minutes of having a super-dog(no joke, that’s what the 9inch piece of meat is named) each and made it to our next commitment. It was just what we need to hold us over before our super late dinner later than night.
