Came for their champagne brunch tasting and it was very overpriced. The tasting samples were small, the options were only 3 different wines and the employees were not knowledgable at all about what we were tasting.
Granted, they may know more now since it’s been open a little longer but I was there towards the beginning of their business opening and was not impressed. We did have a great time though ordering a bottle of wine and playing some of the board games they have lying around.
I have not decided yet if I will give this place another try…

Hidden Gem from Design District goes Mainstream:
If you like good wine, Italian food from next door, and soothing tunes definitely check this place out. Also, do yourself a favor and sign up for the e-​mail list to stay on top of all the cool tasting events they host!

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Wine Poste after dinner in Bishop Arts. The place looked so cute from the outside that we just had to check it out. We were both super pleased by our experience. The hostess was very friendly and made great recommendations for both of us (which is really amazing given that my boyfriend knows nothing about wine). She even gave us a «Book of Questions» for us to ask each other. The décor is really cozy and the prices are fantastic. Definitely a great addition to Bishop Arts. We can’t wait to come back!

Wine Poste is one of the coolest and most welcoming wine boutiques I have visited. Nestled in a quaint walk up at the beginning of the Bishop Arts restaurant district, Wine Poste delivers a relaxed atmosphere, fantastic prices, occasional live music and events, and excellent wine knowledge from the owner, Wes. I have been here three times now, each time grabbing a couple bottles of wine before going next door to Bocce Italian Kithen (BYOB). Wes was welcoming, very knowledgeable and full of stories and anecdotes about the various wine producers and varietals they have on the shelves. I have not had anything but delicious wines from here and will continue to look to Wes for guidance. I strongly recommend anyone in the area drop by to check these guys out. You won’t be disappointed.

Great selection of wine from both Old World and New World. Lovely ambiance with fun wall paintings. Listened to great jazz by Mike Drake Trio, had delicious wine, and a good tasting menu. Host was nice. And the mural in the bathroom is amazing.

We stopped for dinner at Greek Café and Bakery (BYOB) down the street and the waitress suggested we grab wine from here. I went in with only the specifications of Merlot for my grandmother. A guy and girl there were super helpful, lots of input– they took into account that we were eating Greek food and gave me a great suggestion (Raymond 2011 Merlot out of Napa Valley $ 25) we loved it and it was a lovely addition to our meal and girl’s night out.
A big crowd was leaving as I arrived. looks like they had enjoyed themselves. The atmosphere and set up was really nice. I’ve already recommended it to my wine friends and I’ll be back in the future!

This place has a laid back chilled atmosphere and very reasonable wine prices. A great place to sip relax and listen to great music on vinyl. My host was a young lady from Canada and she made my short visit very pleasurable with great conversation on everything from the wine to music.

This is a welcome addition to Bishop Arts and, as stated in the only other review, would be the perfect stop on your way to Bocce. We strolled in late a few nights ago and the staff was helpful and friendly. Not much to review since it is so new, but we hope to back a few months in to check up and see how they are doing.
