Just went here on a date with my husband and it was delish! He always enjoys their specials and I love their spaghetti. We were drawn to this restaurant the first time because it is Byob, and we’ll keep going back because the food is done so well. I always notice people of different generations at this restaurant, typical of a place that just serves awesome food and has great service, and isn’t stuffy. The live flute playing is also so fun and makes you forget you are in Dallas for a minute :)

My absolute favorite Italian and casual dinner spot. Service can sometimes be a little slow but I quickly forgive when the food arrives. Save room for dessert — you won’t be disappointed. .

I needed a calm meal. Something comforting but not bland, something familiar but with life. The small dining room of Inforzato’s was full of locals quietly eating or smiling in conversation over wine. Everyone was content. Formerly Hula’s, the owners transformed the space and menu from tropic hut and Hawaiian inspired plates to Italian bistro with classic staples of lasagna and eggplant parm. «This is what I grew up on» the owner reminisced, these are photos on the wall of my family. She now suspiciously was wearing a colorful but subdued light weight dress that a knowledgable Italian Aunt might wear, in exchange for her Hawaiian shirt and kahkis of the restaurants previous incarnations. The bakery case is still there, and these homemade desserts are fantastic. Wide selection of lemon bars and cheesecake, cookies and chocolate stuff. Above average Italian basic meals — 4 stars Extensive Homemade bakery case — 5 stars The mic-ed guy on the clarinet singing 70’s lite rock with his piano player — 2 stars BYOB. Bolsa mercado is the closet place to get wine, so prepare accordingly.

Inforzato’s is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Dallas for two reasons.(1) It serves incredibly delicious Italian food without making you feel like you are being trough feed and without the food swimming in grease. And(2) it is a humble setting without falling into the trap of campy mom-and-pop Italian restaurants or huge locations crammed with 150 other people fighting for your waiter/waitress’ attention. It is BYOWine and I love that. This will definitely be a staple of ours from now on.

What a gem of a place. Probably the best Italian I have had outside of my own kitchen. Actually the sauce may be better than mine. Spinach lasagna was fabulous and we sampled the spaghetti as well. The desserts are the best in Bishop Arts. Loved it and we are going back to try the pizza because it looked and smelled crazy good.

Went for the first time, last week. A friend and I decided to share a pasta plate and pizza. The pizza was wonderful, and could have been a full meal for both of us. Was not impressed wit the red sauce, it too thick and rich. The place is very old world cute, and that is good. The entertainment is in good taste, and fits the room size, small Will go back for pizza.

It was so good it made me wanna slap my mama! The chicken parm is redonkulous. After the meal was over I was so satisfied with everything I told my wife we should go home and make a baby! I’ll let you know in 9 months if it worked. I don’t know much but I know this… if Jesus ever comes back I’m pretty sure he’ll stop at Inforzato’s for a delicious tasty meal before heading on to Washington D.C. to kick the Tea Party in the nuts for being so obstinately ignorant! Until that time I highly suggest you take your pretty little heiny to Inforzato’s and enjoy the magical goodness! Cookies!

I am newly vegetarian and I still am having trouble finding dishes I can eat when I’m out with my fellow«meat-eaters.» I went for my significant other’s Mom’s birthday and our waitress let us pick a dessert for her(on the house!) after we finished our delicious meals.(Pick the eggplant parm, you won’t be disappointed.) Later the owner came by and asked us about our meals and we chatted about dessert. then she let us take home a plethora of freebies! She’s obviously very passionate about her business and cares about her customers time there. Also, she said she was hiring. so anyone out there that likes a small atmosphere with great food and customers. head on over and work at Inforzato’s. Maybe she’ll let you take home free dessert after your shift. ;)

This place is amazing! Inforzato’s is a tiny unassuming restaurant within close proximity to the ever popular Bishop Arts district. One of the owners plays live music on the weekends and it’s a nice bonus. But the real star is the wonderful food that will arrive at your table. A warm, crusty loaf of bread arrives with garlic butter that is delish. The basil gorgonzola dressing on my salad was so yummy that I ordered an extra salad to take home. Both the lasagne and spaghetti bolognese had an extra kick of spice that I enjoyed. Every bite was a layer of great ingredients cooked to perfection. I also liked the liberal use of fresh herbs and pesto on our entrees. Our waiter was friendly and had extra help so we definitely felt well taken care of on a recent weekend night. The place is small but the food is great, give it a try and support a small local business.

Phenomenal homemade italian dishes, fresh and full of flavor. Several desserts to choose from — many arent what youd find anywhere else. The most amazing garlic bread! Slow service, but it is family run and this ads to the laid back, non-rushed atmosphere… nice, small dining area. Great place to relax, and enjoy a great meal.

Inforzato’s far surpassed my expectations. A little on the outskirts of the Bishop Arts District, the location raised some questions as to if it would be even close to the quality of some other nearby establishments. Even worse to set me up were the gaudy red and green décor, numerous deals and discounts, and advertised«live music.» Oh, and BYO can signify a lack of some aspects of fine dining. All this went out the door when the gnocchi and baked macaroni and cheese arrived. Yes, we ordered mac and cheese. To further this point, I too was shocked when a dish chiles caught my eye on the specials menu – American comfort and Tex-Mex at an Italian joint? Well, the gnocchi boasted a pillow-like texture, often a hard attribute to nail down with this potato pasta. The cream sauce, with the sprinkling of pesto and sun-dried tomato: simple, but classic. And the macaroni and cheese, though a little bland, lent the rather soft noodles a superb sauce, far too rich and creamy. And to round out the solid experience, the dessert case wields the ability to compel anyone to eat sweets, two maybe. Our bread pudding, slightly dense, possessed a rockstar cream cheese frosting with a light application of dried cranberries on top. Bread pudding, which may or may not classify as Italian, actually completed our«Italian» dinner. A lack of identity may cripple Inforzato’s in the long run, but for now, you would find much positive to discover by heading to Inforzato’s for a super affordable, unique dinner.

Imagine… imagine you are on a cruise ship… imagine that there is a cheesy guy playing a ukelele and a jazz flute… in a corner of the horribly decorated café on the ship’s main lobby… now freeze. Congratulations. You’ve just visited Inforzato’s. That’s where the similarities to a cheap cruise line end. And maybe where the similarities to a 5-star Holland American cruise begin. The food here is delectable. Every bite was just exquisite. From the salads to the main course to the dessert, I was floored by how tasty it all was. And you know… the meat lasagna has actual meat in it. Lots of it! A delicious mound of extra tasty meat goodness. And I’ll tell ya what. That guy can play a mean ukelele. And I mean it!

The lasagna is to die for! The generous amount of meat and cheese. The melded together flavors are eye rolling good! The portions are enough to eat on a couple of times. So in love with it that I haven’t tried anything else. Really good cheesecake with raspberry(which I’m not a big fan of) topping. Been a few times since moving to the Bishop Arts area a year ago and would definitely recommend. Oh yeah, it’s BYOB with a $ 5 cork cost. That’s a plus IMO.

My husband and I have a running joke about this place and their hours of operation. There have been so many times we’ve gone and tried to eat there and it’s been closed. Eventually, we just stopped trying. We’ve eaten here a couple times and both times were decent. The food has good portion sizes and it’s a decent red sauce joint. Everything is flavorful and well prepared but it’s not upscale in any way. The prices are very reasonable and you can easily eat until you are full and not complain about wanting dessert later. It is BYOB so for those who like that, it’s a good option. I recommend this place if you are looking for an unpretentious restaurant with good homestyle Italian cooking.

Seriously good food at seriously reasonable prices! Love that this place is BYOB… will remember that next time. The service was incredible… I felt like I was eating at a relative’s house… they were that friendly! We started with the artichoke and it was amazing… so flavorful! I tried the tilapia special and it was great too. The servings are very large, so plan on taking half home for the next day. This is a hidden gem in the Bishops Arts District… so very good!

My friend took me here to treat me for helping them while they were out of town. It is a small little family owned place. Light live music was being played in the corner, everyone was smiling and greeted us as we came in. It is BYOB so you do not have to worry about high alcohol prices, just bring it with you. They will help you chill your whites, uncork your bottles and provide the glasses. We got the crabbed stuffed artichoke as an appetizer and then the primavera pizza. Very filling and super tasty! I am glad that I experienced this in my own hood, will go back for sure

Wow! What a treat! We knew of the place when it was Hula Hottie’s, but the change to Italian was a brilliant move. They’re using the old family recipes(really!) and the portions are delicious, huge and very inexpensive. The fried zucchini is the best I’ve ever had and the garlic cheese bread… OMG!!! They even make their own sausage and pasta. The restaurant is tiny with about 10 tables and is family run, with a real comfy feel. The décor is a little on the simple side, but is easily overlooked by the entire vibe of the place. The service was great. It’s BYOB with a small corking fee. When my wife and I went, on a Friday evening(around 6:00 pm), there were a few tables open and we grabbed a four-top. Before we knew it it was standing room only, so we offered to share our table and had a wonderful(euro-style) evening with our new-found friends who were Inforzato’s regulars. I had the cannelloni and my wife had the manicotti. Both were outstanding! After a bit, the owner got back behind a little keyboard(synthesizer) and began to play and sing some very tasty jazzy/rat packy-type tunes, accompanying himself on flute and saxophone. He has a great voice and is an extremely accomplished musician. It was awesome! They also have a wonderful pastry case filled with yummy sweets. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Davis, but get there early or you’ll have to hang around out front drinking wine and listening to great live music(they have speakers out front!)… Oh darn!(Allison L… Your review was the reason we went in the first place!)

Please do not read this review. It contains no useful information nor will it entice you to go to this restaurant. It’s terrible. The food is awful and the service is some of the worst I’ve seen. Just to make sure you don’t go there, its in the old Hula Hotties location in the OC and its BYOB. The inside is not cute or homey. The live music on Friday and Saturday is not enjoyable. The menu looks gross and the fact that the server became my new BFF didn’t do anything to help the cause. She was too friendly and we had way too much in common, don’t you feel sorry for me? Since we had to order, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The homemade tomato sauce that apparently has been past down through generations should have been thrown out a long time ago. The salad it came with had this vinaigrette dressing that I’m hoping they never serve again. I accidentally spilled it all over my body and didn’t lick it off. MP ordered the Manicotti and licked the plate clean only because he hates to waste food. I even tried to take a bite and he growled at me. You see, this place only brings out the worst. Oh and the homemade rolls with fresh garlic. Forget it. When we left I figured I should take some traditional meringues because I mean, the display case was screaming at me. So I took home 5. Lay off me. Just because I became BFFs with all the people that work there(they are all family) doesn’t mean you need to subject yourself to that kind of hospitality. Overall, we will probably not be going back because its convenient and about the only Italian place in the OC. Not to mention that everyone that dines there are regulars and so super friendly… to be honest, the place makes me sick. Ok, I guess you should go and at least try it. Or not, whatever. I don’t care.

Oh.My.Goodness! This place is both affordable, and delicious. As I was driving home late from work, I couldn’t stand the thought of cooking, so I mentally ran through my take out options in the OC. I remembered Hula Hotties had become an Italian Restaurant, so decided to give it a try. I walked in and found a table full of my friends– good sign– followed by a sign with the evenings specials. I decided to go with one special and one traditional meal. From the specials I chose spinach gnocchi and for our traditional I selected spaghetti and meatball. When I got them home, my partner and I dug in to pure goodness. The meatball was flavorful and sauce bold without being overpowering. My spinach gnocchi left me puzzled for a minute– it didn’t look like traditional gnocchi, but its taste was great. The meals came with thick rolls and a dipping oil. While this is takeout we will do again, we need to eat in and try one of the beautiful desserts in the display case.
