Very nice place to visit and sip. The owner is also really nice and fun to talk to. Highly recommend popping in if you are looking for something off the beaten path.

Nice atmosphere. But the wine is home made & not good. Wish that I hadn’t bought the bottle.

Great place! Fun, hilarious and good time. We always laugh when we go. Very casual place. The wine has gotten better and better over time. We often order wine and baskets for family and friends for Christmas here. They have a Psychic night which is pretty freaking good. The music is fun too!

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to praise Two Corks on Unilocal!I’ve been a Wine Club member for several months now. Two Corks is a unique wine bar, selling only its own terrific wines in a manner that makes the wine and the experience easily approachable and inviting. Two Corks wines run the gamut of sweet to dry, red to white, and they even have a couple of nice ports that usually appear on the tasting menu. There’s a wine for any palate, and I highly recommend purchasing a tasting or a flight so they can show off the variety of their offerings. John and his staff are top notch. I just had my birthday party there, and every one of my guests were blown away by the quality of the wine and how charming the tasting room is. I did a custom batch of wine for the party, and we had the chance to bottle our own wine and add a custom label. The bottles made for a perfect party favor, and John kept in contact with me through the process so that the wine and wine bottles came out perfect. I look forward to cracking my vintage in about six months. Not only is the location fun for a party, but Two Corks allows you to bring in any food you like, or they can order from the adjacent restaurants, several of whom will deliver right to your table at Two Corks. Two Corks has a passion for wine and service unparalled in my wine travels througout the Dallas area. I’m proud to call myself a «regular» and a «member,» excited for every stop in to my «Cheers» of a wine shop.

This place has some of the best wine I’ve ever had. I really dislike sweet wines. I’m a Cabernet Franc/Tempranillo kinda girl. Their Latin Grande Red Blend was explosive with flavorful smoky and fruity notes, without being sweet! I am super duper in love. I don’t think I’ve ever drank a glass of wine that slowly, but I wanted to savor each and every delicious complex flavor that glass had to offer, all while listening to some extremely talented jazz musicians play their music. The only thing I would have preferred is that normally with jazz rooms the lights are off or dim, but they were on normal brightness. Kind of took away from the atmosphere I thought. Plus the building is so tiny it has to have a really small occupancy. There is only one bathroom so when I got there I had to wait a long time before I could even sit down. But they had a survey sheet asking how they could improve the bar, that I believe is going to be entered into a drawing to win a free bottle! Overall, I’d definitely return!

My friends and I love this place a lot. The staff is exemplary — they love to talk and can get you into interesting conversations. The place closes at 11 on Fridays but we stayed till around 12 and they didn’t kick us out. The wine collection is also good. I’m not a wine guy but I love having wine here. This time we had some white wine and then tried a blended wine called Russo Grande. It’s not a traditional type of wine but ask for a sample if curious. The cheese platter and crackers go great with the wine. They had live music on Friday night, not sure if they have it on other days. Definitely a must go. Cheers

Full disclosure, I’m comparing to my experience to wine tastings in mostly the PNW. Stumbled across this quaint winery that creates their own wines with grapes they purchase from all over the world. Tastings are $ 10 for 5 tastings from a specific menu. I was a bit surprised that with each tasting, my glass was not rinsed out, and in some scenarios, there was a little bit of wine still left in my glass, that mixed with the new wine that was poured. After the tasting, I settled for a glass of a pinot nior that was not on the tasting menu, in addition to a Scardello’s cheese plate. The wine was good, but no offer of a decanter; would have been nice to let the wine breathe a bit as it really helped the flavor of this particular wine. Also, when asking what cheeses were on the plate, the owner stated that he already threw away the wrapper so he didn’t know. You would think you lead with that first, or at least be aware? Wine lovers and Cheese lovers go hand in hand. a little knowledge around it is valuable. For me it was the little things that added up that did not make the best experience. Also, there was a non-member’s fee for purchasing a bottle that was not disclosed until I saw it on the bill. I believe it was around $ 17 but still something that should be discloused. In the Pacific NW, wineries big or small often portray a feeling of warmth; lots of care and passion in what they do. Although this place is a quaint, small run winery that had a cozy feel with live jazz playing that night, I felt that my experience that night made the place come across as a chain-esque bar.

Located in the quadrangle, it’s an adorable local wine shop that is about as cozy as it gets. Board games, leather sofas, comfy couches, and cute outdoor seating. The owners were very hospitable and they allow you to bring in outside food as well. We decided to stick with the charcuterie board and were not disappointed. Their happy hour was especially reasonable and I was a fan of their red blends. I left with more information about their wine club membership and bottle of wine that was pretty pricey($ 28)– Big Daddy Red— but very good when I got to enjoy later that week at home. P. s. They have jazz here on the weekends!

I love this place. I love everything about it — the wine, the company, the wine club. It’s like your neighborhood wine bar where everyone knows your name. John, Maida, and Emily are fantastic and fun to talk to. I loved the wine so much that I joined the wine club, which is a great service that Two Corks offers. It’s also great that you can have food delivered so you aren’t confined to a particular menu.

Before meeting my husband, I was a single mother who never went anywhere. Now my husband and I are excited to be new parents of a daughter. Having gone through this before, I knew my life was going to be turned upside down, however, this is the first time for my husband. As new parents we grasp for some normalcy in our lives, so when I heard a friend of mine was playing music here, I thought it was the perfect chance for my husband to have a glass of wine while I listened to my friend play soft piano music. Because I only want the best for my new baby, I breastfeed and therefore am unable to leave her with anyone until she takes a bottle. As a newborn, she mostly sleeps and eats, so we are stuck together like glue. Unfortunately, we were rudely kicked out of this place because, while I heard they allow minors, they do not allow babies. My husband and I left feeling discrimated against and rudely judged because we were told«while it’s not against the law, other people would wonder why we had a baby there». Really? Why we had a baby in a non smoking, quiet, and warm place that serves glasses wine? We must be terrible parents. Needless, to say I will never be back here again and I discourage anyone, especially parents, to support such judgemental and rude owners.

I have been to a few wine spots in the DFW area and was disappointed by most so far. The other day I found my self in Two Corks and a Bottle scoping out event spaces for a company holiday party and I was definitely impressed. The décor gives a calm, rustic feel like you were hanging out at home with friends. I tried a couple of the white wine options and loved every one of them. They also offer some cheeses and chocolates along with alcoholic popsicles! Very friendly staff and they also offer some live music which I am excited about checking out. They even offer a wine bottling party where you get to bottle, cork and label(custom label) your own wine. Super fun idea! I will definitely be back with my friends next time.

We were here over the weekend for part of a Chocolate & Wine tour. The location is wonderful, very cozy with a good amount of high top tables you can drink at. We got there a little earlier, so we wanted to have some wine by the glass. They didn’t have a lot of options available unless you got the full bottle. so we ordered whatever was available on the board. I had the ‘Orchard Mist’, which was one of their fruit wines. It was very light and refreshing with an intense flavor of green apple. It was a little sweet for my taste, but I think it would make an absolutely delightful wine for the summer or after dinner drink. My friends had the Mojito wine cocktail. We’ve never had anything like it before! I think out of all the wines we had during the tasting for the tour, this was my favorite(along with the Pinot Noir). It was so unique and tasty, definitely something that would bring me back to Two Corks and A Bottle. John the owner was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He really made the experience fantastic. It seemed like everyone had a lot of fun.

A friend of mine was entertaining here so I stopped by to listen to him play. The place is small but there are many tables and a couple of sofas to relax. The man at the bar was very helpful in choosing which wine I wanted. I chose the Dulce Grande which I almost expected to be very sweet, I was looking for something more like Merlot or Shiraz but he assured me it was not. He gave me a taste of it and I was sold! It had a semi sweet nutty flavor very much like the semi sweet sherry of Jerez, Spain. It also had an oak barrel aroma, in fact the whole place smelled like a Spanish winery. I loved it! The people at the bar were helpful and friendly, the entertainment was great, OK I’m biased because he’s a friend, and I met some great people who were just there enjoying the wine and music too. In fact on guy offered me a sip of his port, which was rich and sweet. Very good place but parking was a bit of a problem. There was a parking structure at the end of the strip of restaurants that I could have used but as a single woman walking alone in the dark I kind of wanted to be close. I did find a space on the street just beyond the parking lot and one of my new friends I met inside of Two Corks was gallant enough to walk me to my car. Turns out he and his wife/girlfriend live within a few blocks of me.

Owner John ensured the best service of any wine bar in North Texas, and I’ve been to them all. Their house wines are wonderful and affordable, dare I say affable and agreeable, as well? Oh, and Momo’s delivers from next door. I’ll be back.

You know the comfortable feeling you get when you enter a good friend’s home, and they offer you a comfy seat on the couch, a smile and hand you a great glass of wine? That is exactly how my hubby and I felt while enjoying a recent evening at TWOCORKSAND A BOTTLE. After having dinner at Momo’s Pasta in the Uptown Dallas Quadrangle, we decided to forgo cheesecake or cannoli in favor of a liquid dessert:) We had heard great things about Two Corks and a Bottle, which is next door to Momo’s, and decided to see for ourselves why it was so great. As soon as we stepped foot inside the cozy and charming space — we knew. A warm greeting in the form of smiling hellos made us feel welcome — even wanted. Now I know how Norm felt every time he entered Cheers. A very relaxed feeling encompassed the space. Groups of friends gathered at the bar, round tables or living room areas. A comfortable couch beckoned, and we sunk into what we just knew would be a delightful evening. Karen, our server, offered a warm smile and approached us. After asking our wine preferences, she explained the Two Corks wine making process and made a few ordering suggestions. She was knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. We felt looked after, but not smothered. Her personality definitely complemented the Two Corks vibe. A custom winery, they import fine grapes sourced from vineyards worldwide, and from those grapes, they craft a multitude of wines that can suit just about any taste. They offer red, white, fruit and specialty wines. In addition, they make wine tasting fun — whether you are novice or sommelier. Two Corks and a Bottle not only wants you to enjoy their wines, they feature a variety of theme nights that would attract even a diehard teetotaler! Live music, pasta night, happy hour, and even a psychic, are just some the entertaining themes one can enjoy while visiting Two Corks. They also host private parties, and the opportunity to create your own wine. As red wine enthusiasts — we always enjoy a hearty cab or tasty malbec, we opted for a bottle of the Big Daddy Red, and the ruby libation was just what we wanted! Smooth, but with a bit of a smoky linger. We happened to be there on psychic night. Cheryl Andrea, a local Dallas clairvoyant and medium, enlightened and entertained everyone with her insights, while she walked around the room«reading«patrons, and offering positive thoughts. At one point, she spotted my husband and I relaxing on a couch, and told him that he has a very calming, warm and reassuring demeanor that make others feel safe. I have to admit, she was right on about that one! My husband, being who he is, took it all in stride with an amused smile and witty remark. Actually, Two Corks and a Bottle has a demeanor similar to my hubby — when you are there — you feel warm and safe, reassured that you are among friends, but you also know that you are always going to have fun!

Never been here. Felt welcomed as I entered. Was offered options and explained how it works here, all wine bars are different. Great selection. Love Scardellio cheese and they offer this on their menu. Will suggest to the ladies for our next night out!

This is a great little wine bar(winery) in Uptown. I was doing a little scouting for a side business and wanted to try the place out. The owner and his best friend are wonderful! They are very nice and attentive. The place has an awesome marble half circle bar right in the middle and comfy couches on one side and belly bar tables on the other. You can bottle your own wine, as well as deign your own labels. The wine that I tried, m Que Sera Sera and a fruity mix were good. The Que Sera Sera was a bold Syrah that would go great with steak. The owners have decided to start«Fun Friday’s» where someone comes in for entertainment. The night I was there, there was a physic. Good times! They have had a painting party, jazz, special wine tasting, to name a few. Definitely a fun bar to spend a Friday or any other night in!

We came to this place the other night, not getting what we expected. On a Friday night, the place was less than half packed with a group of older men at the bar. As you walk into the establishment, its hard to determine whether its an office or a bar. Apparently, the owner’s desk is a part of the place, and in my opinion, it looks weird. Any-who, the owner greeted us and we took a seat by the window. We didn’t know that it was only certain wines available per night, or that this place made their own wine. Once we figured out the concept, we were delighted to try something new. We each ordered a glass of a red wine mix and talked the night away. I would recommend a couple to come here for a nice, quiet night out. I would like to one day come here for one of their painting classes, I’m just not sure if $ 45 a person is common or overpriced. I shall do my research!
