I was in dire need of a haircut before Christmas and called 2 days beforehand. They were able to get me in with Jay later that afternoon. They had also given me several price points for hair stylists. He was very chill and listened to all my concerns and cut my hair perfectly. He also informed me that sadly, Monica had left :’(Really really sad and disappointing. But life goes on. I am still impressed at the quality and convenience of Toni and Guy. I will be a continued customer!

Izzabo is the best! She always cuts my boys hair awesome and trendy! She’s the bomb! She listens to what my boys ask and adds a bit of her own ideas which are always on point! We have never been dissatisfied.

Just got a great cut and style by Jay! Love that he gave me the tiny trim I requested followed by the best round brush blowout! He didn’t put a bunch of sticky gunk in my hair(which I appreciate!) and asked if I wanted shine or hair spray. Highly recommend this T&G salon! Great experience.

SARAHSCHWARTZ! She’s literally the best colorist I’ve ever had and I’ve been coloring my hair for 15 years and she’s been my colorist for 6 of it. She knows what I like and is consistent in the results I get which are AMAZING! My color is always right, and if I want to make changes, she’ll talk through them with me instead of just doing it to make money. Sarah knows exactly what she’s doing and does it quickly. My hair is long, thick, and again has years of colors on it, and in the 6 years I’ve gone to her I’ve honestly NEVER been disappointed. Yes prices are Toni & Guy status, but I can promise you will not regret it. Oh! they also have a nice referral discount if you refer someone… I tell everyone.

I moved to Dallas in Jan 2010. The first 6 months I would drive 2.5 hours back to my hometown to get my hair cut/colored. That got old so I started trying new places in Dallas recommended by family and friends, and I wasn’t ever satisfied with the how they did my hair. They didn’t get me. Last month I did a google search and Toni & Guy on Hillcrest came up. I read the reviews about Reece and Ron and thought I may as well chance it. That was the best thing I had done! They ask great questions to figure out how to do your hair. They both did an awesome job and my search is over. If you want a great cut, Reece is your girl. And for great color, Ron is your guy!

Came in for a haircut and style, and I was beyond completely satisfied with the results! The hair dresser listened and did exactly what I wanted,(which just literally an inch-2inches trim and re-layer it). I absolutely hate when i ask for a trim and then they cut too much off! But that didn’t happen here:) also she was quick and professional. I will be returning!

Want a pixie cut? Go here; see Justin Price. After struggling with a stylist that seemed a little intimated by super short cuts, a fellow pixie-cropped friend recommended Justin. He is AWESOME. He takes the time to really understand what I want and go over the minute details of the pictures I bring in to reference small changes I want to make. He knows how to keep short hair feminine and fun.

I made an appointment to turn my faded pink hair into a blonde ombré. When I got there, the stylist said she wanted to do a strand test before lightening my entire head. After waiting an hour, she said the lightener worked pretty well, but it was going to damage my hair. I knew that. Lightening your hair always damages it, but I didn’t want to have pink hair forever, which is what I told her. She said she’d be right back, and came back a few minutes later to tell me she didn’t think she should do it, and that I should try to fade the pink as much as possible on my own, and then come back to have a color deposited over it. If I wanted to do this myself, I would have. I made an appointment with a salon so I wouldn’t have to. She also told me it was going to cost way more than I was quoted and take way longer than she had. I felt like I was getting excuse after excuse. In the end, I wasted an hour of my life and left feeling like the stylist just wasn’t in the mood to tackle the mess on my head. I ended up doing a bleach bath at home(which cost me about $ 10), the pink all came out, and my hair feels perfectly healthy. I’ll be going to a different salon to have the ombré done, because I was really frustrated and unimpressed with the customer service(or lack thereof) I received at this salon.

They are a one trick pony The salon was good, and the stylist was good at cutting hair. My complaint(which might be what one likes) is that all their haircuts are very modern and showy. I am very conservative in style(basically a flow) and left with spiked up hair and short sides. Also, I’m a guy and asked for a basic haircut(which she changed and gave a full cut) it ended up being $ 80. The girl next to me got a cut and it costed her $ 70.

Saw another stylist… very unhappy with cut! Even showed her a photo of a very basic style! Left with my hair butchered. Her over confidence was convincing. Should have followed my gut!!!

I’ve lived in dallas 2 years and have hopped from stylist to stylist without ever leaving a salon happy. So when I became obsessed with needing to chop off all my hair, I was beyond nervous about who to go to. I basically asked for a very experienced stylist and lucked out! Isabeau handled my switch from long layers to a short assymetrical bob perfectly! I’m so ecstatic! Worth every cent. Thanks again!

Marina has been with me for over ten years, was my colorist when she was maybe nineteen back at Toni & Guy Valley View(which no longer exists). We are like SISTERS — we know each others’ life stories. She is so talented. She just has this magical, unbelievable ability to feel for just the kind of highlights and beautiful, fresh, deep color in the world for you. She takes the time and listens to what YOU want, not what anyone else thinks is right. She is definitely the most experienced, professional, most amazing colorist I know in Dallas. She is very precise with the highlight process — you don’t get weird chunks or uncolored roots and ends. She is a higher end colorist — $ 110-$ 120 for partial hightlights and color but definitely all worth it. I’ve gone to her so many times and said«Oh Marina, fix what I just had colored orange» and she’ll say«your hair will break if I do this» and I say«I don’t care!!» Of course I wait a little but I once I go and come out with the most beautiful color with her. I trust her with my hair; she is wonderful. I just wish color lasted forever and ever and never fade…

The staff seemed to have other more important things to do other than service us. Was not impressed and left without getting a haircut. I am still in search of a place to cut my hair in Dallas since moving from LA. Thus far I spend a lot of $$ and get crappy«super Cuts» generic haircuts.

The salon is amazing! The staff is very friendly and is there to make you look and feel great about yourself. Every time I leave there I am very pleased! Justin Price is an artist with the shears! He knows what will work with my face and style and does a top notch job!

I usually get my haircut at the Fort Worth location, but my stylist was out on vacation and this location is near my job, so I decided to give it a try. A friend recommended Justin Price, so I made an appointment. Since I called the person who answered the phone was very friendly and when I arrived everyone was super nice. Justin was incredible, he completely understood what I wanted and executed it to perfection. I was very pleased with my haircut and left feeling like a rockstar. It’s hard to find people who are not only super nice, but also know all the latest techniques and actually listen to you to find out what you want and not ignore you and do whatever they want in the end. I will definitely will go back and recommend him to friends.

I’ve been visiting this location for a long tome and most of my experiences at T&G have been great. After years of hit and miss I finally found two T&G stylists that are fantastic. They are much more experienced, so they come with a hefty price, but it is definitely worth it. I’m loyal to this location. I made the mistake of not visiting either one of them and decided to see another stylist… bad decision. My haircut wasn’t great, but they were more than happy to fix it at no cost to me. Great! They saved the day. Not sure about other services though. A couple months ago I decided that I would do an ombré and cut, which I spent around $ 200 on. They started with my cut, and then proceeded with the color. Which at the time sounded fine, but in hindsight, as experienced stylists, I wish they would’ve been clear about the process. Because I payed for the cut and style, I expected to get both. Unfortunately, once my hair was washed the stylists were all busy, I finally got a stylist to dry my hair, but was sorely disappointed I didn’t get it properly styled. Another thing I didn’t realize was that ombres really damage hair, so that fresh hair cut they gave me was pointless as the hair was redamaged. They should have advised me to get an ombré first to minimize damage and be able to get my hair styled. I sadly had to cut all the damage off, and have to let my hair grow out again. I will keep coming back to my regular stylists, and do my research if I ever get other services.

So exited was I to get a sassy new haircut from this salon I’ve read plenty great reviews. My hair had grown out from the sheick angled bob. So bored w/the shoulder lenght hair, I was ready for something new. I had a picture of the haircut I wanted, pretty much all I need was choppy layers. I came out looking like freak’n Justin beaver. Waaaaaaa! And this was an «experienced» stylist. One star. the cut was a good cut. But failed to execute what I requested. Boooo!

Monika and Ron are my new hair heroes. Combined between the two of them, they rescued me from horrible split-ins and a do-it-yourself dye kit. Ron is a colorist, but his business card should say artist. A few months ago, I put black and blonde streaks in my hair, but they were growing out and needed some attention. Ron put in highlights and turned my poor mismatched head of hair into something beautiful. Seriously — after a visit to Ron, my hair is gorgeous. Monika has cut my hair twice, and she’s fantastic. Both times she has given my hair a great cut, but she also makes suggestions on styles and gives hair tips. She’s great with the scissors, knowledgeable, and very personable. A cut runs about $ 60, highlights $ 80, which is pretty standard for Dallas. If your hair needs some love — go see these two.
