When they first opened, I would come here every damn day. Then I got tired of having stomach aches, so I stopped for a year. But now I legit only come for the wings LOL. I get made fun of but it’s not going to stop me from ordering the triple x wings! I only wish I could get all flats. It has only happened ONCE, but it still made my mfing dayyyyyy!

The wait was an hour and 45 minutes on a Saturday, but it was so worth it! They use a microphone to call names Incase you’re waiting in your car, cause inside gets really packed. The menu is very simple and easy. I recommend the whole shabang and a mild if you like a little spicy. The Cajun fries are also a must! They put on bibs for you and give you water in to go cups. I love this place!

My friend wanted to go here on a recent one day Dallas trip. Be prepared to wait unless you get here right when they open. Once seated, however, things move quickly. They were out of blue crab this time so I ordered shrimp and half a pound of sausage with the whole shebang. Also got some cajun fries which were soo good and spicy. The shrimp were great size though not as spicy as the heat level I selected suggested. The sausage was great and it was a really fun and messy experience eating everything. Thank goodness for the plastic bibs they give you. Would visit BC again as long as I’m not starving. Service was great and the music playlist they have was top notch.

The food is so good Oysters, calamari, sweet potato fries, king crab legs, snow crab legs and shrimp with the whole she-bang sauce was so good. The gumbo not so good. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is the customer service sucks! They really don’t care if you wait or not and are extremely rude when u go in to give your name to be placed on the waiting list not to mention how our food was thrown on the table by one of the waiters. Food is the only thing that would make my family go back

Came here today for the first time for a pre birthday lunch and had a great time. I actually got so stuffed, that even now as I write this review, I’m still full from my meal 9 hours ago! Having read other Unilocal reviews, we knew there would be a wait, and indeed we waited about 45 minutes before getting seated. Fortunately however, we only waited about ten minutes to receive our food after we ordered. Our waitress was very helpful and had a great attitude. My hubby likes things hot, but she advised against it, but promised to return it and make his bag XXX spicy if he wanted, which he ended up doing. I ordered two pounds of snow crabs, two corn, and an order of potatoes. Hubby got one pound of snow crabs, one pound of shrimp, ½ pad of sausage, three corn, an an order of potatoes. We also splurged and got the Cajun fries, which were just ok. We came knowing our bill would be a bit high, but due to the quality of the food and service we didn’t mind the cost. I did think it was crazy that they had no king crab or blue crab, especially since we went so early after the restaurant opened, but it was all good because the snow crabs hit the spot. Overall, had a great meal and will definitely make the trek back up to the boiling crab to feast again!

By far best most yummiest seafood in town! Crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, potato, corn the whole shabang. Wait time can get crazy busy. But worth it so good!

Coming from NorCal, I got SOEXCITED to find out there was a Boiling Crab in Dallas!!! I admit, I was slightly skeptical about the freshness or the quality of shrimp because Dallas is definitely not as close to an ocean as the best *cough* I mean WEST coast, BUT I am pleasantly surprised that the shrimps were large and juicy! [ FOOD ] This is my standard order at Boiling Crab: * 1 lb. of Shrimp($ 11/lb), whole shabang, medium * rice * sweet potato fries for sharing with friends :) I WISH they would provide more sauce in the bag. In the San Jose, CA locations, the shrimp is SWIMMING in that delicious but oh-so-worth-the-worst-burp smell after. In addition to our own pounds of shrimp, my friends had * gumbo, which I wasn’t really a fan of, but that might be because I don’t like gumbo too much. –Shrug– * cajun fries, so nice and crisp! * mussel, a little salty :/ Dallas Boiling Crab, I wish I didn’t live so far away from you. Because now that I’ve introduced you to my friends in Texas, we are going to start craving that pound of shrimp and will have to drive 60MILES to satisfy our craving. I can’t say it enough– it’s worth it. [ PARKING ] The Boiling Crab parking lot is quite SMALL and the neighboring businesses have reserved parking for their customers only, so be careful!

Everything was so good and delicious here! Tried the crawfish, mussels, shrimp, all with their famous«she bang» sauce, great flavor. Also oysters, Cajun fries, calamari, and wings were good too. By far the best crawfish joint I have been to. Service was good, friendly and prompt. Cannot wait until my next trip back to Texas.

Best shrimp I’ve ever had. Goodness. We came here on a Sunday and there wasn’t a line like most of the pictures I’ve seen. However, there was still a wait! we waited an hour so I can’t even imagine how long the wait usually is on a typically busy day. I ordered their snow crab and shrimp. I loved the Cajun flavor. I had mild and it was spicy enough for me. Myyyyyyy the shrimp was sooooo good!!! One pound of shrimp is a lot of food vs 1lb of crawfish. I got to try almost everything and it was so good! Get the Cajun fries!!! Tip: bring your own gloves. We had our own and it saved our lives that day from smelling like the swamp for the rest of the day!

I attempted to come here not once but twice ! lol I was pretty determined to eat here .esp after I saw Jay& bey went to the LA location(total fan !) my first try was last Saturday night, it as almost a 2 hour wait. The boiling crab is smaller than I expected which made me think the wait would be longer .It was very breezy that night so the wait was out of the question . 2nd time. Determined again ! I refused to be let down, we arrived around 11:30am, doors opened at 12pm. There was already a line formed ! Around 11:50 more people started getting out their cars. In major numbers lol. Luckily were were about the 7th group in line. They sat us quickly& explained the concept. I was so determined I had already looked at the menu lol . I ordered the king crab legs &3 potatoes. My sauce was a garlic spread & ragin Cajun ! My friend chose two lbs of crawfish & corn. It didn’t take long for our food to come out. The sauce is where it’s at ! I wanted to rub everything in it. Another friend joined us & I dipped some of her crispy Cajun fries. Delicious. Finger licking good. I was in a food coma. The smell. The smell. I squeezed my hands with the lemons provided then washed my hands. I couldn’t get rid of the smell for days. It was even on my phone … The price to pay for good but smelly food !! Please bring boiling crab to NASHVILLE

This place is a first come first serve! We arrived an hour early on Sunday and we got a seat! Service was amazing! We got sat in the back corner booth and I immediately thought the service will be terrible but we had like 3 people in the area and they all helped us. We got our food decently fast. The Cajun fries is a must try and everything else we got was great! We got everything with the whole sha-bang seasoning. Warning** it will take forever to get the delicious smelling seasoning off your hands!

There were bed bugs around the bench in the waiting room!!! We have always liked the Boiling crab and taken To-Go all the time. Tonight was the first time that my boyfriend dine in. He was bit by bed bugs when we were sitting on the bench in the waiting room. The guy was next to us is working for pest control that he made sure that bed bugs were«walking» in the gap of the wall. We immediately informed two of the staff. They paid no attention and said we can do nothing about it. People were still coming and sitting on the bench. None of the staff even warn the customers. After we got home, my boyfriend found over ten bites from bed bugs. Be prepared to dine in unless you want to take any bed bugs home!!!

This is pretty much the best seafood spot in town! I absolutely love this place. My favorite is the snow crab legs with the whole shabang sauce, corn and potatoes. They season their food soooo well, except the shrimp. I love shrimp but I’m not a fan of their shrimp. The crawfish and crab is the go to. The corn is soooo sweet and delicious. I’ve also tried the gumbo and it’s not that great. The sweet potato fries are good tho. This place is so packed now so get there early.

One of the best seafood spots in town!!! Food is fresh and delicious. My go-to’s are the snow crab legs and the crawfish. The seasoning I ask for is the whole shabang with medium spice. I noticed they’ve raised their prices significantly but the food is definitely worth the price. Their venue is small and gets crowded fast. So I suggest you go during the weekday, close to when they open if you want a guaranteed spot. They open at 3 during the weekday and close at 10. They open at 12 on the weekends. But if this isn’t your first time going then just order it to go and take it home. Save yourself the time of waiting in line. For first timers, your food comes in a clear plastic bag. You can dump your food out on the white paper they line the table with or just eat it from the bag. You leave all your trash on that white paper :) Make sure you wear a bib, things can get messy Other things I’ve ordered: — Gumbo: it was okay. Wouldn’t order again — Shrimp: It’s okay. They’re huge. They’re unseasoned. so you must dip it in the sauce it comes with to enjoy it — Sweet potato fries: They’re alright. Not really that sweet — Corn: very sweet and delicious

My brother in law recommend this seafood place to us and I have see it before on Unilocal and have been wanting to try it out for some time now. Omg I have never tasted anything like it before the food is so full of flavor and heat I couldn’t believe it how damn good it was. The whoa Sha bang all the flavors in one bag of shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes, at first it’s just flavor after flavor but a few into it the heat comes from no where lol. The snow crab leg just perfect. It’s interesting that it says cajun but it’s fun by Asians lol so I’ll call it the raging Asian Cajun: D It’s totally worth it you must come to Garland to check this place out. I heard about the long wait time. Luckily we got in right away the food came out quick and hot the side of rice we got was good. I would have gave this place a perfect five star but the wait staff or at least our waitress was not very attentive so I had get up to ask for more beer. Aside from that come check this place out its worth the drive and the wait.

I’m so glad I got to try this place during my visit to Dallas, Texas because it was amazing and worth the rave! I love quality seafood and food that are very flavorful and this place definitely delivered both. I saw the line outside the door and people are covering in blanket to get in. I ordered 2 lb of Crawfish with their Shebang specialty sauce and it tasted even better than the aroma that filled the restaurant. All of the servers are young and polite. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves seafood and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty! Love it!

being originally from new orleans im kinda harsh on crawfish outside of Louisiana but theirs is actually pretty good, not great but its better the others in dallas. their fries are awesome! and fried calamari was great. it gets really packed on the weekends and its has a nice young crowd feel going on with writing all over the wall. kinda expensive but the food is real good and staff were nice.
