The male bartender working was bragging how he lost his job at chili’s for making fun of a customer– clearly he hasn’t learned his lesson-think his name was Chris– was not friendly at all to me-very friendly to other patrons-what a jerk– the other bartender(Lori) was excellent– I’m glad I’m just passing through bc I definitely won’t be back to listen to him brag about patronizing guests

One of those cases where 1 star is still too much. I want to say upfront this is about one specific server, redhead, glasses, not the food — as we never stayed for that. During ordering we asked about some places with plugs for the phones to charge — we were between 2 flights . His answer basically was: this one doesn’t have one, that one might have one on the floor but we cannot change our table anymore as we already chose our table!!! Seriously? Did I hear right? Someone sat us at a table in the middle of that place — we didn’t choose much — and even if… This is an unacceptable reply/comment and we were gone immediately after the shock settled. BTW he just watched us leaving from a distance without any visible reaction.

Whoever the rude little blonde waitress is that thinks she is having a bad day needs to consider a new line of work… we came in for some food while waiting for our flight home after suffering a loss in our family. burying my brother this weekend was the hardest thing ever and i can still exercise my manners. Apparently she cannot. she was extremely sour. After eating our really unsatisfying french dip my boyfriend wanted to order a shot. He asked her how much the shots were and told her that we have had a rough weekend so he wants a good shot. Her response was for him to go the the bar and she turned around and walked away obviously annoyed by her patrons. My boyfriend looked at me confused about what he had done to provoke such a reaction and I was honestly equally confused. I have never heard of someone reacting like that to such a common request. I also heard her be rude to the host. Right behind our table which was really awkward and uncomfortable… this made it pretty clear that she was already having a bad day and took it out on us. Which isn’t what you do when you are in customer service. I know because I work in customer service and the majority of my work experience is waiting tables. She was absolutely uncalled for.

I’ve worked in a restaurant for a while and I know what servers think when they see a table of teenagers, but being a server myself I have never treated a table differently because of their age. our server did not introduce herself to us and was extremely rude. The food came out in a timely fashion & the atmosphere was perfect except for her. feel guilty not tipping her well because I normally tip heavily but she did nothing for our table as a whole.

I’m sitting at the bar watching the bartender putting his hands in his pockets, scratching his face, checking his phone and mixing drinks and putting drink garnishes(limes, olives, watermelon pieces) in the drinks with his bare hands that he scratch his face, phone… Really !

After being up for what seemed like eternity and only having 15 min between flights. The hostess and to go cashier were beyond amazing. They made sure I not only got my food to go in time but it’s a hot flat bread. Wonderful experience and welcomed surprise in the airport.

Overall it’s alright. Food wasn’t good but wasn’t bad. Service was slow so don’t go here if you have a flight to catch. Staff was friendly.

This was a great place to stop before we boarded a flight. The food was good and service just as good. It was fast and convenient. However, it was a little pricey for what we received but after all, we were at the airport.

I haven’t been here in years but I will say they have done a lot to improve their menu. I was impressed. It is what it is and it is not fine dining and it is loud and crowded but the food is decent for what you pay and it can be a fun family place if you are looking for easy.

Not really the best but not extra horrible. My jack sliders tasted like they rubbed it in the grill grease – not appetizing at all.

Breakfast menu overpriced and not worth it. Food quality was subpar but I realize that is Friday’s thing nowadays. Used to love the restaurant but they’ve gone downhill and fast over the past few years. And unlike most other airport restaurants, this one has very limited outlets for recharging devices.

Waitress provided good service… the kitchen is slow. I had breakfast tacos and they were actually really good. My son had the French Toast and is eating it with a big smile.

Welcome to amateur hour! Worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time. The ginger bartender was a complete loser. Manager was a clown. What a joke. Total amateurs. They both should get their GEDs and pursue another career because they definitely won’t be moving up the prestigious TGI Friday ladder. Better luck in the future fellas, cause right now you are complete failures. Try to remember that no customers = you out of a job.

My server, FRYINGBEAVER, was amazing. He did a great, super job for such a young buck; he probably makes a lot of doe. He truly loved his job and was very good at it. After a hard day of travel, Frying Beaver was friendly, full of clean punny jokes, and just an all around good guy. I think he told me a joke about amnesia but I forgot how it goes… He made me smile the whole time; Frying is such a great asset to the TGIFriday in the airport. The food was good, although a bit more expensive than those outside the airport, but that’s to be expected. The shrimp was delicious, but the cook must have had a shellfish ;) attitude, because there weren’t as many of them as I expected. He was really on the hook for that one. Anyway, Frying Beaver is an asset not only the company, but also the airport. Great place to relax while waiting for your flight. Remember, ask for FRYINGBEAVER to be your server.

This place is every bit as good as any non-airport TGI’s. That’s not a high bar, but still… In «real life» I would give this joint 3 stars, but since it’s in an airport, they get a bump.

When I walked in, I didn’t even know what city I was in(after traveling for several days, I was exhausted) and when casually asked by the hostess about my travel plans, I sputtered out something(that was mostly incoherent) and said«oh wait, I am in Austin,» after which she said«no, you’re in Dallas.» Yeah, I actually was in Dallas — but the last flight I was on somehow blurred in to the several days of travel and well, if you’ve traveled, you get the rest. I was promptly seated and my order was taken within just a few minutes of sitting down.(Knowing that their customers might be in a rush due to flight times/etc is something that this place seems to understand.) Throughout my meal, never once did I have to ask for a refill, etc — everything was simply taken care of. Later in the meal, a manager walked by to ensure everything was satisfactory, which it definitely was. The food itself was also delicious. The portion could, honestly have been smaller, and would still be worth every penny I paid. The chicken was moist — the peppers and onions complemented the cheesy goodness so perfectly — and the mashed potatoes were quite flavorful. I wish every TGI Friday’s location functioned like this one. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Despite being an airport where excellent service is the exception, as opposed to the rule, this TGI Friday’s location really hit the nail on the head. I may have been exhausted — and not known which city I was in when I walked in — but I definitely remembered when I walked out.

This restaurant, bar is actually pretty nice for being in an airport. The bartenders were observant and timely. The breakfast food was of good quality and fast, which is great if you have a connecting flight. I would definitely come back here to sit at the bar and work since there is plenty of space at the bar top and folks are friendly. The Bloody Mary is pretty good! If you’re looking for beers they have about 12 on tap from Angry Orchard to Sierra Nevada.

I had the rotisserie chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was great. The rotisserie chicken and dried cranberries were mixed perfectly and the almonds added the perfect crunch factor. The sweet potato fries were a bit too salty. Service at the restaurant was great. The waitress was friendly and made sure our drinks were always filled despite it being busy.

In the past, you couldn’t drag me into an airport restaurant, even when flying and you couldn’t drag me into a TGI Fridays. Things have changed, DFW has developed more and more sophisticated restaurants, and the standards have improved. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised as to the calibre and quality meal I had at DFW’s Fridays in Terminal«A». I ordered the Beer-Cheese Burger, I’m not going to kid yea, it was high calorie, high carb, high everything. But, it was very tasty, I’d actually order it again. Service was great, I sat at the bar, I have no complaints.
