My beef and broccoli was cheap. That’s a positive right? The clearly previously frozen broccoli and beef was okay — not horrible but definitely not great(but I guess that’s what $ 6.49 buys). Wonton soup was okay too for the price. But this place needs zero stars for sanitation. Sticky tables. Sticky chairs. Sticky soy sauce bottle. Sticky floors. Not sure if this place has been cleaned in 30 years. I’m guessing they do a lot of deliver business but if you step inside you’ll probably never want to go back.

Recently visited this quick service restaurant and told the owner that I was referred to his location by reviewers fro Unilocal. He asked me if I would review the restaurant after my visit. My review: Overall it was good and I would go again but let me add: 1. I got my food to go and spent $ 20.00 2. We got chicken wings and egg rolls but Both were tasty but slightly burnt on the ends. 3. We ordered the shrimp fried rice which was and large portion and flavorful. 4. We also ordered the general tso’s chicken which was flavorful but not hot or very spicy. Service was quick and friendly.

Orange chicken is frozen fried chicken cooked way too long with orangey tasting sauce. I would avoid this. The garlic shrimp is ok, has good veggies in it. The egg roll tasted like they need to change their deep fryer grease. The rice is good. It’s the same price as a lot of chinese buffets. I doubt I will eat here again.

Decided to try this spot because I was in search for Chinese food and didn’t want to drive out to Plano or deep Richardson. I had the Orange chicken and chicken fried rice. Food was ok, I’ve had better orange chicken and I didn’tt know you had to let the last know how you like your fried rice cooked… hmm that is new.

Inedible. Period. Brown sauce looked more like ink. Wrong veggies for Moo Goo. Ate three bites and tossed it.

I just finished eating a meal from this place. I decided to pick up from here as I am here at Dallas for a week. My boyfriend got kompow chicken and I got the beef. First off it had a lot of peanuts… WAY too much peanuts. As I dug in there was barley any beef or chicken in BOTH. I also wasn’t crazy about the rice… It was hardly fried rice and had no flavor. I read so many good reviews and was so disappointed to find 5 pieces of beef in my meal. I gave this place 2 stars solely because you do get a large meal for the price… but NOMEAT

I was in the area Saturday and decided to give them a try. I love pork fried rice and trying to find a place that has seasoned fried rice is hard to find. The pork fried rice is delicious but I always get my fried rice without peas and carrots. She cooked the onions very soft which is a plus in my book. I would have given them five stars but their fried rice comes without eggs. I love eggs in my fried rice so I had to add $ 1.00 for an egg. I probably should have asked for two eggs because I really couldn’t taste the eggs. It would also be great if they gave an option for bean sprouts, I asked but they couldn’t add them. Overall the rice was delicious and I would come back again. The egg roll was good too.

Very good Chinese fast food. I had Mongolian beef and fried rice. Great prices and easy to get to from hospital.

Fast, fresh ingredients, made well, large portions, and inexpensive! My daughter had the General Tso’s chicken. I think the breaking to meat ratio was on the too breaded side, but she liked it and I don’t like fried foods. The Kung Po was great!

Ate here twice while I was staying at Medical city! This place is right across the street and it is SO delicious and very moderately priced. The LoMein and egg drop soup was beyond tasty. Cannot wait to be back.

Excellent food, I got the combination fried rice. The portion was huge! The service was equally as good.

I felt like I was back in Chicago. As close as its gonna get for me. Egg roll is big and fried to perfection. General Chicken was super crispy and full of flavor. Rice was meh nothing to brag about. Mongolian beef oooohhh seriously mouth watering. Comes with carrots, green onion, onion and mushrooms. I ordered mine without the carrots. Beef was tender and had just the right amount of spice. I will be back soon. I am glad I finally found my to go Chinese takeout restaurant.

Always had good hot food, spicy and fairly consistent… except when they get a new cook or change cook shifts. lol. I usually get the General Tso’s Chicken extra spicy. I like it to make my eyes sweat… and they usually do it every time. I don’t care for the location though, they deserve better, however to their credit, they been there FOREVER and have a loyal clientel.

All the food was burnt, grease was old, and not a single vegetable on my plate. One of the grossest meals I’ve ever had. Couldn’t finish it. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the guy was nice. Sesame chicken, «crab» Rangoon and drink was $ 10.50

Had a chicken lo mein. It wasn’t as like any other Lo mein I ordered. The noodles were different, slightly soggy, and saucy. Decent on pricing and big portion for the meal. I didn’t really like it.

First time visit tonight although I’ve driven by this place a thousand times. BESTFOOD! I have been looking for a place that has pork fried rice like a place I used to go to, it was amazing!!! Crispy orange chicken which was not over sauced and not too spicy. Will definitely go back!

I placed a to-go order on a Friday evening during the regular dinner hour. I got the General Tso’s Chicken, which had a pleasant spicy burn. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of breading. FYI: This restaurant is NOT stingy with their meat! The General Tso’s Chicken came with generous servings of perfectly cooked fried rice. I have plenty left over for at least one more meal. I also ordered the egg rolls and steamed dumplings; both were very tasty and hot when I came through to pick up. I will definitely order from this establishment again. The service was fast(my order was ready inside 10 minutes), and I got a lot of good food for a reasonable price. I have their menu on my fridge now. :)

Hot dawg — you know you’ve made it in your new town when you find that hole-in-the-wall Chinese place that always satisfies, and Tam’s Egg Roll is IT. Warning ahead — it’s at the end of a nondescript strip mall across the street from Medical City. The parking lot is triangular in shape, and Tam’s has the misfortune to be at the narrow end of the triangle. So, parking is a bit tricky, but please don’t be deterred… and don’t be put off by the lack of décor. They’ve been there for 30 years, and I suspect they do a booming business«to go» from the Medical City crowd. But, prices are dirt cheap, the lady at the cash register is nice, and after five or six visits, she remembers me and my preferred menu item(even down to the«extra spicy»). It’s not purty like PF Chang’s or sterile like your neighborhood Panda Express, but here you know you’re supporting a family-owned business which has good food at decent prices. Give them a try.

I’m not sure I got what I ordered– it was either terrible orange chicken or mediocre sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice tasted a little sour and had only rice and a few peas in it. The spring rolls were the only decent thing we got. Chicken, rice, and spring rolls totaled only $ 14 bucks, but for the same amount you can get Panda Express which is much better. **Disclaimer– I have no idea what«real» Chinese is supposed to taste like. To me the fast food stuff is good enough, albeit unauthentic and unhealthy.
