I called ahead and 30 minutes later my food still isn’t done. They only had one girl taking orders, cleaning tables, answering phone and running food. Management needs to step it up if they want this place to make it.

I got the steak tacos(upon an employee’s recommendation), the big breakfast burrito, and huevos rancheros. The huevos rancheros were meh(the reason for the 4 stars), but the other two were great! The burrito is huge and very filling, and the steak taco was very solid. The place is a bit dingy, but I actually kinda like that feel in a taco place. I’ll probably be back. Plus, the name of the place reminds me of Ron Swanson’s favorite store«Food and Stuff» lol Definitely worth a try!

Not the best tacos in town. We tried the Pastor(fatty pieces) Chicken(bland) and Carne Asada(salty) tacos. Nice people, no bugs, but the food is pretty bland. I would suggest El Come Tacos instead on Fitzhugh street.

The service was good but I consider myself a taco connoisseur and their tacos are not good at all. The meat was not tasty or seasoned. The flour tortilla was full size on a street taco. I just don’t understand. Also, they did not put the tortilla on the grill. They just threw the meat inside and gave it to me. Also, I came out of the restroom and my food was on the table just sitting there. I came alone. Why did I stop here again? This place has the worst tacos I’ve ever had.

This will sound like a total primadonna review but tonight, during dinner hours(so not like I showed up in the middle of the afternoon) they had no tripa. Meanwhile the barbacoa I got instead had a huge hunk of fat in the middle of it. The sauces are still amazing but that was disappointing. I really, really want this place to make it but once again I was one of just two customers and really, if they can’t get barbacoa right…

Good street tacos! They have like 6 or 8 different kinds. Cold beer, too. Can’t wait to go back…

They employees are friendly and have the food ready quickly. The location is clean. The breakfast tacos are super yummy! I recommend bacon egg and cheese with potatoes. The salsa isn’t too spicy so don’t be afraid to go for the hottest ones. The only opportunity for improvement is the chips. They have a very oily taste… that’s all that needs to change to give it a higher score!

Love this place so much!!! They have excellent customer service and a very pleasant atmosphere so you can enjoy your food leisurely. They have several vegetarian options and they are all delicious. The El Verde burrito is my personal favorite, it’s a great price for the amount of food you get(it’s massive). They also serve breakfast tacos all day!!! The variety of salsas is also nice. My favorite salsa is ranchero, just the right amount of spicy and flavorful.

I work a couple doors down and eat here 2 – 3 times a day. The breakfast tacos are sooo good! The pastor, bistec, steak, and barbacoa street tacos are amazing. They have a variety of sauces to choose from. Depending on the item you purchase a different sauce to compliment that item. I had one of the melon water drinks and I’m hooked! Food always comes out fast and fresh. Staff is always super friendly and courteous. Reading some of the other reviews it’s obvious whatever kinks they had at opening are now fixed. I really hope this place is here to stay!

We been loyal Tacos Y Mas fans for years at either the Forrest or Greenville locations. Their breakfast burritos are the best in town. It seemed great to have a location even closer to home and were anxious to give it a go this weekend. Although the food was just as good as the other locations, they do have some issues to work out. First, the location isn’t as convenient. The whole lot was set up as valet. Who is going to valet a car to run pick up fast food? One of us stayed in the car while the other ran in and the valet hassled us. When the person at the counter read back my order I noted that she said«tacos» when I was pretty sure I ordered«burritos.» No matter which of us made the mistake, it should have been simple to just fix it… instead she wanted to argue about what I said. It hadn’t been rung up yet so just change it. The person in line after asked her how spicy each of the sauces are. Her indifferent response was she didn’t know because she has never tried them. While I was waiting i overheard the table next to me ask how much longer their order was going to take. I had been waiting awhile and they were there before me. The person bringing out the orders said she didn’t know, but they were working on it. Her response wasn’t as interesting as her actions when she actually brought out the food to them. I swear the was already turning around toward the kitchen as she dropped the tray on the table. You know, that action like you’re running a relay race? She didn’t ask if they needed anything else or thank them. Apparently some tortillas were missing from the order because later she brought them out with that same non-verbal, relay race action. There just didn’t seem to be much of a management presence. Good training was clearly lacking. Hopefully, over time these things will get worked out. In the meantime, we’ll stay with the other locations.

This was their third day in business at this location so there still seems to be some work to do. It was just a few hrs after the Pride Parade so I would expect them to be a bit worn out but I wanted to try them and had just got home from work. The food took a bit too long to be prepared and the staff were a bit confused. I was very disappointed with the Chipotle Chicken taco but the other ones I had were pretty good. Not all that amazing but then it’s street tacos. I’ll go back again mainly since they are located in the same building I live.

This place just opened so they are trying to get their groove. We order the Trio — Chips, queso, guacamole and salsa. The queso and Guac were average and the Salsa was pretty good. We then ordered the Street Taco Platter, 3 tacos 2 pork and 1 chicken) rice and beans. The Tacos were what one would expect a Street Taco to be Perfect! For 7.99. The rice and beans are a definite after thought. My partner ordered the Signature Taco Platter which was 2 tacos(brisket and chicken Chipotle) with rice and beans. The Tacos were most excellent. All in all This place is as advertised — Authentic — Tasty — Fresh. We will be back to try the Breakfast tacos in the morning.
