One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to! The food is delicious, and this is officially mt favorite red curry in Dallas. My friends ordered the drunken noodles, basil fried rice, and a green curry. The fried rice was wonderful, but the drunken noodles had an overwhelmingly eggy taste/smell to them. More-so than I have ever experienced. The other three dishes were wonderful and I will deft. be going back(just avoiding those noodles). I was there for a bday party and they did the usual free dessert for the bday girl, the wait staff is freiendly, it just was slower service than I expected considering how empty the rest of the place was. Food wise, this place gets a 10⁄10! I only gave four stars because of slower service, but everyone ought to try this place out!

Ordered delivery from this spot. They were timely and really polite on the phone. I ordered the peanut chicken with the sauce on the side. The flavor was pretty good! I ordered it medium spice because from a previous Unilocal review, I saw it had a good kick. They were definitely right! It was the perfect amount of spice. The peanut sauce was delicious. I will definitely order again from this spot when I’m craving some Thai.

Great food. Solid portions. Quick service. Good prices. The only thing I didn’t like was the space or the lack of it to be precise. You sit so close to other tables that your party of two increases in size as a soon as the neighbouring tables get occupied.

it’s better than the usual/generic thai place. Their food presentation is very nice. They really make their food spicy and nicely stir fry their veggies and noodles giving them a nice slightly roasted flavor. We showed up 30 mins early for our reservation and they sat us right away. They messed up our order but fixed it quickly. Took them a while to bring us our drinks but it was fine. They accidentally gave us the wrong check and I was slightly surprised that the bill was that much but just put my card down. The waiter noticed it was the wrong bill and corrected it and it ended up being 20 bucks less, i was super grateful that he was honest to change it. Thank you!

This place is fine. Not great but definitely not bad either. The service is good. The price is on point. The food is huge and in big servings, fresh and awesomely flavorful.

Review for Vegetarians!!! Pad thai — so delicious! I customized this pad thai to be only egg and fried tofu and crab meat(They dont have imitation crab meat) I was so pleased with the pad thai, so flavorful and just absolutely yummy :-))) Thai tea — yummy! Not those watered down thai teas

Expect to get lost in uptown. :) it’s very difficult to find the parking and especially the restaurant. Thai tea tastes good so as to beef jerky and tom yum.

Tasty! So glad I ventured out from my ‘usual-go-to-list” and tried Si Lom! Their menu is extensive, leading me ordering more than I had intended to! With their generous portions of each dish, I have enough leftovers for two more meals — oh yeah! Ambience: casual, plain and simple … nice wall hangings … tables could use a wipe down before seating! Service: very friendly … helpful with selections … was rushed a bit for they needed my table joined to a party of four! Food: 1) by far, their BASILSEAFOOD was my favorite: loads of cuttlefish, scallops, mussels and shrimp beautifully stir fried in a delicious sauce … 2) basil chicken wrap: a nice appetizer in opening up my palate … 3) green curry beef(mild): pale looking & it was not spicy enough, next time I’ll order hot … 4) Pad Thai(mild): just the right sweetness & tanginess; noodles well cooked; the big shrimps were perfect! I’ll be back many more times! Better yet, after having a stressful day, I’ll simply have them deliver their Thai comfort food to my home! CHEERS!

We order delivery from here quite often where I work. Always reliable, always tasty. My favorites are the tom kha soup for appetizer and mussaman curry dish for lunch. So, so good. Only 1 star off for the moderately high prices :/

I ordered my lunch to go and I was pleased with my overall experience. Although I did not dine at the restaurant, I will say there is plenty of seating and it’s very clean. Service is pretty quick for to go orders! The lunch size pad kee mow was the perfect size for me. I ordered it mild spicy which I could taste the heat, but next time I’ll order medium. They gave me plenty of meat and veggies while still having enough noodles. Also, it wasn’t drenched in sauce or oils like other places. Definitely will come back again!

There is a parking garage that you can park in for the restaurant for free and you can walk through the door that leads you straight there. They quickly seated us as we walked in and took our orders shortly after. The menu has quite a variety of selections so it could be a little overwhelming if you’re indecisive like me. I ended up ordering the coconut noodle soup which was very good! The broth is coconut-based and there was plenty of mushrooms and noodle in the bowl. I like how it was a little sour and not too creamy which made eating easier. The pad thai entrée was huge! I was surprised when the waitress placed the dish in front of my boyfriend’s face. I had a few bites and thought it tasted good too. If you’re really hungry, pad thai is a good option to choose. The Thai tea drink was super good(not too sweet or thick) and it came out in this cute mason jar. The prices are a bit higher than other Thai places I’ve been to. Come check this place out when you’re in the area!

I think this is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the Uptown Dallas area! Their crab fried rice is soooo GOOD! It’s very flavorful and comes in a very large portion. The pad sew ew is also good, but just a little bit salty. The restaurant is spacious and has a very nice and intimate atmosphere… perfect for date nights! It also offers patio seating. Customer service is excellent. The wait staff came to check on us and refill our waters about every 15 minutes too. Close parking can be hard to find because a portion of the complex’s garage parking is undergoing construction with one of the entrances blocked. So if you’re looking for close parking, be on the lookout for the entrance to the garage parking off Hall street… that’s how we found it. :)

The ambience of this place is quite nice and I suppose may have a healthy feel to it being literally next door to a gym. They offer a Happy Hour with discounted drinks and appetizers. I began with the Crab & Avocado Rolls $ 8.95. It had Crab meat with onions, avocado with tomatoes fried in a spring roll wrapper. My entreé was the Mussaman Avocado Curry $ 15.95. It was Chicken with onions, Coconut Milk, peanuts & avocado served with steamed rice. It was very good and there was plenty of sauce. However, it may be greatly improved if there were more peanuts. The quantity of avocados was great. Overall the appetizer & entreé was good and event had the rest to go.

Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in Dallas. The food is consistently good along with fast and attentive service. I recommend the Pad Thai, Papaya Salad, and the fried rice(all of them are good). The Pad Thai has a perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness which is hard to find in some other more non-authentic Thai restaurant. I also love the thai tea here because they use a different kind of milk which taste like a mixture of condensed milk and perhaps another creamer. It really adds a natural sweetness and creaminess to the drink. If you’re looking for a nice but casual date spot with awesome food, I would recommend coming here as they often play soft love songs and dim lit lights.

One of my favorite Thai places in Dallas, although I think it’s better for lunch than dinner, food-wise. It’s hard to describe why though. Ambiance-wise, it’s definitely nice at dinner with the dimmed lighting and candles. The pad thai, pad see ew and the curries are my go-to dishes here. So delicious and they give you a good portion. The waiters are all very nice as well! Parking can be found in the garage, so don’t worry when seeing the restaurant on the side of busy Oak Lawn.

This place is great, especially because it’s my go-to place when I want delivery. Their food has seemed to always hit the spot. From their basil chicken fried rice, the the pineapple fried rice, the pad thai, the red curry, or any of the curries — I haven’t really been displeased. Their flavors are not complex but they are comforting so you know what you’re getting and enjoy the meal. It’s also fun to mess around with the heat factors with the dishes as I’ve felt they range differently depending on the dish and how it interacts with the chili oil. Also, I’m a huge fan of their tom kha soup. There’s just enough tanginess to make you salivate and sweetness to calm it as it goes down. Not to mention, it’s just good soup. I’m a fan over if versus the tom yum soup but I wouldn’t turn down either. Ambiance of the place is intimate. It’s a little confusing where you’re supposed to park and how to get to it when you pass by it from the street — there’s a parking garage around the back of the building and a back door to the restaurant from the parking lot. They have a sunken patio as well, if you want to sit outside. I’ll be back.

I eat here entirely too much… like minimum once a week. So much so they finally gave me a frequent customer card. Shameful. But I love Thai and this place is so good. Si Lom is the best when it comes quality AND service in the Dallas area. To break my habit, I revisited a few other spots for Thai and they were just bad to mediocre: greyish looking beef, soggy noddles, weird tasting curry. Disappointing compared to Si Lom. I have tried their pad ki mao, pad thai, curries, etc. but there’s something about their shrimp pananag curry that really hits the spot. They don’t skimp on portion sizes, their meat is real and fresh, the delivery is relatively fast, and they rarely mess up orders. Aside from their free delivery(minimum $ 20), their dine-in option is just as inviting. Well-lit, upscale and modern, it’s a great date/lunch spot night out as well. Just make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the parking garage below ground level.

It’s about time I reviewed one of the best Thai restaurants in Dallas. I order take out so many times and they have my usual saved. Their Basil fried rice has a ton of flavor! I usually get this with extra veggies or shrimp. I also really like their yellow curry noddles and Tom Kha. One huge con about Si lom would be their chicken. I’m not sure if it’s just not good quality chicken? But something is up with that and I’ve noticed other Unilocalers mentioning the same. Other than that it’s a great restaurant! Plenty of parking in the garage behind the restaurant and quiet atmosphere.

I recently got back from a trip and I didn’t feel like cooking dinner so I ordered to go from this thai restaurant that looked promising. I got the chicken larb, tom yum soup, and massuman curry. The larb was good, but they should have seperated the lettuce so it didn’t get soggy, and the curry was a little too sweet for me, but what threw me over the edge was THATTHEREWAS A LARGEBUGINMYSOUP. It was the size of half a grape tomatoe. This place is not that great and its dirty! I would not recommend it whatsoever!

Wow I really liked this spot! So it’s very difficult to notice this restaurant since its one floor down and even harder to figure out parking. But basically parking is in the downstairs garage and there’s an entrance to the restaurant from there. It’s a very cute and dimly-lit restaurant. I really liked the cozy feeling. Also has a full bar it seems. We shared the red curry with chicken dish which was plenty for two people and also the spring rolls appetizer. The spring rolls were perfectly fried and so yummy. One order has 5 rolls so plenty for two people. The curry was very tasty and I had no complaints! Just kinda wish I ate more lol. I will definitely be back if I am in the area and am in the mood for some yummy Thai food. Our waitress was very nice as well and the customers were such a diverse group which I always think is a good sign. Enjoy! :)
