Cool little place with retractable garage door for I for/outdoor dining. Street tacos are very good with a variety of types. I’ve sampled a bunch of them and all are on point. Wouldn’t say they blew me out of the water, but for a naturalized Texan of over 30 years, legitimate.

Great tacos. I had the Fried Chicken and the Jalapeño Sausage, egg and cheese. Both were delicious. Plus i got both tacos and a cold draft Corona for less than 10 bucks. The service was excellent.

There are two foods in this world that I can’t stand: eggs and cheese. I feel sorry for those who like to enjoy them at the same time. Grosssssss. Eggs is a little irrelevant when it comes to this review. Cheese? I think not. Let’s talk gooey, melty cheesy cheese at Rusty Taco. Once that chip punctured the soft top coat of Queso I became intrigued – for the first time my mouth watered at the sight of cheese. Not only did the cheese LOOK delicious, but it WAS delicious! It delighted me to see the chunky veggies in the cheese sauce– which made me have that«this is homemade» feeling. I know what you’re thinking… why did I order the Queso if I just exclaimed I hated cheese? The tacos didn’t excite my taste buds. I’d say come here for the queso and leave the«rusty taco» an option.

Rusty Taco has good queso, but the tacos are tiny, and the meat to onion ratio per taco is atrociously unbalanced in the onion’s favor. However, the ambiance is nice and the restaurant is new and clean.

I’ve been to this restaurant quite a few times. Each time I’ve been greeted by Enrique. He’s very friendly and quick. There is always a line. He’s moves the customers though the line very quickly while providing excellent service. After my third visit, he remembered my name. This was very surprising in today’s fast food restaurants. The tacos are always great. I especially enjoy the picadillo tacos and the fried chicken tacos. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed. It’s an awesome place to eat. I really enjoy it!!! I think that these are the best tacos!

I like this location! The queso is nice and spicy! Also you have to try a brisket taco! The frozen strawberry margarita is the bomb! If you want a great place to go to kick back with friends come here. Also if it’s a great day they open up the garage door which is awesome!

Solid tacos. I had the shrimp and fish(both grilled) and was pleased with the flavor and garnishes, especially the salsas you can add-very flavorful! I look forward to visiting again before I leave Dallas!

Unacceptable Service. On my way to work, decided to make a *what I thought would be* quick stop to pick up a few breakfast tacos. After 20 minutes of waiting for my 3 breakfast tacos, was finally told that the restaurant was filling a large order and we(several angry customers) had to wait. That does not even makes sense since people who came in after me got their orders while I still waited. Never got to try the tacos– left after 25 minutes and a refund of my money. Was late to work as a result. Will never go back to any Rusty Taco location.

I work nights, usually when I get off work at 7am(especially on weekends)…my choices for breakfast can be limited. I didn’t realize Rusty Taco opens at 6am! I’ll be adding this place to my rotation. I tried the jalapeño sausage, beef fajita, and brisket tacos… it was a rough night at work, ok?! The jalapeño sausage breakfast taco was amazing! I’ll for sure be back! It looked like they have good happy hour specials too!

No unsweet tea after 15 minute wait. Black bean taco okay-nothing special. Grilled fish taco discarded after one bite-fish not fresh tasting. Will go to the Austin taco transplant next time.

Love this place! They are always really fast and friendly! It always tastes fresh and tastes like quality ingredients. LOVE their queso! And they have awesome drinks! I come here often for lunch sometimes and I never have to wait too long. When’s it’s nice outside they open the garage door window! Awesome location!

We come here almost every weekend. Place is clean, food is delicious! The fish tacos are really tasty and the breakfast tacos are served all day. We’ve been to other locations and they are awful! This location has better drink selections and food is always good! Even when it’s packed wait time is under 10 minutes.

The tacos are Rusty’s are a bit smaller than those of other taco places. I have to get 2 here to fill me up. There aren’t any special or exciting choices either, they pretty much are normal type tacos. I like the chips and queso though, but I like queso anywhere.

Decent place. Tacos seemed on the small and expensive side. Fish tacos had two small slivers of fish for $ 2.50 each. To go order was messed up. I recommend Torchy’s Tacos as a better choice.

We moved, so this Rusty Taco has replaced the original as our go-to spot for a quick meal. Which is great, because turns out I like this one better. Service is faster, ingredients are fresher, and happy hour specials are more plentiful(or maybe just better advertised? I didn’t even know Rusty Taco had happy hour specials). I wish there was a little more seating, though: finding a table has yet to be an issue, it just feels a little more cramped. Haven’t tried out the drinks yet.

The Good: Salsas are served out of squirt bottles at the table and all have fantastic taste. 3 – 7 happy hour means ½ priced sides and beer — so that’s a 16 oz Lone Star with chips and salsa for $ 2.50, and that’s good. The Bad: Other diners were complaining about missing ingredients from their meals — mine was correct, so can’t complain too loud. Hand napkins on the dining floor consist of rolls of brown bathroom towels. The Measley: Fish taco was a little light on the rockfish, but had a good taste. In fact all the tacos were a little understuffed. For reference, Fuzzy’s tacos have about twice as much fillings for about the same price, not that I’m crazy about Fuzzy’s either.

Friendly casual place for a late afternoon snack. Order at the counter and they will ask for your name(and how to spell it too). I wasn’t hungry so I got a black bean taco and water. It was under $ 3. The weather was nice so the«garage door» was opened(see photo). I didn’t notice whether the A/C was on. If it was not, it would have been very eco-friendly of them. For vegetarians, black bean taco is the way to go. For sustainable dining, get your order to-go to avoid using the disposable container, plastic forks and Styrofoam cups(for water) when dining in. Bonus points: There is a juice bar next door too.

Rusty Taco has become another Texas chain, therefore, they must be doing something right. This Rusty Taco location provides tasty tacos, although they were cold. I’m not quite sure how that happened, but on a cold night, I was expecting at least lukewarm food. Maybe because my food was cold, the flavors didn’t seem to «pop». I had the #9, #13, and the #5. The brisket taco(#5) was the most flavorful, and all three cost $ 7.50. The food prepper was a funny guy, and he gave me extra salsa for my preggo belly. I am pretty sure my baby adores him.

Great taco’s with fresh ingredients, great quick service & cool atmosphere! Taco’s are smaller but only $ 2⁄3 each! Brisket is our favorite! Great counter service style restaurant:)
