Service is good but food is just mediocre. Lunch special cost me $ 13 with Drink and Tip so it’s not cheap for lunch. Much better food nearby for the same $.

This is a hole in the wall mexican place, and the chips and salsa were decent. Beyond that, as much as I wanted to like it, I was quite disappointed. We were very hungry, and looking forward to some good tex– mex. I had the chicken enchiladas suizas, and I would swear that the chicken was boiled– flavorless and just not very good tasting, the sauce was very bland and mediocre, rice was lukewarm, beans the same. My husband was also disappointed in his«big burrito» first, because it wasn’t very big, and second, it just didn’t taste that good. The folks who run the place were very nice, but for being one of only two tables in on a friday night, I would have expected more, and didn’t get a meal that I would go back for.

This is a small restaurant in the corner. It is a family owned business and every time I go in they are always welcoming. Don’t be fooled by TexMex they make good Mexican food. The chips and salsa is also very good. You have any special requests the are open to it and will cater to your tastes. If you are looking for a hole in the wall Mexican place then this is the place.

I came upon this little spot by searching«nearby restaurants» on my Poynt app on my Blackberry. While entering the establishment, I kinda was second guessing myself… I can’t lie, but as soon as I received my food, my mind was put at ease. I had the Chaparrito Sampler which included cheese quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, nachos and chicken taquitos. EVERYTHING was very good! Hot, spicy, tasty and fresh. I couldn’t ask for anything more in an authentic Texmex restaurant. They’ve eluded the 5 star rating only because of the décor.
